In accordance with making this guild public, I feel that a feature that includes where I am in updating, and what I'm doing in the future for GCG would be a very good tool for you to use.
I always hated being in the dark about when an update was going to happen on a price guide, or completely clueless about a new feature coming out. I like to be informed, and I assume a lot of you do too.
This thread will work much like Lanzer's work journal. I'll update whenever there is something new. In fact, I might just update every day with an account of what I'm doing for the day and what was done with the guide. This will be a larger version of the update post already contained in the guide.

Feb 23rd
Today, I've opened up the GCG Guild to the public, and have been working on making this guild another good and usable part of the guide.
This guild is now a private guild instead of a hidden guild, in which non-members can read posts but cannot post until they sign up. The purpose of this guild is now to serve as a place where people can talk about the economy, GCG, or ask and give advice.
Upon posting this message, I have enabled membership requests.
Updates:
Price guide update: tweaked the scarves so that they're a bit more accurate now.
Store list update: haven't done anything today on that - I'm attempting to make the format different on pages 3 and 4 so that I can update faster and have more motivation to do it. Efficiency will be enhanced by eliminating location links for each item and instead putting them under headings that link to the pages.
Upcoming features:
Exchanging and vending tutorial feature - Unfortunately, I was delayed in starting this. I just started typing on this a couple days ago. Projected finish date is unknown but I do hope to get it out there in March.

I've mainly been hanging out in the marketplace to get a good gauge on prices and do a little profitting - I've fixed up some of the prices in accordance to my research.
Price guide updates
Today, Feb donations were released, and the items were much more popular than anything that has been recently released in the last few months. I've implemented them into the database. They have also influenced the prices of some other items, like pitchforks for instance. The Lunar seems to be immensely popular, making people sell their dark capes to obtain them and in general being the more coveted of the two items, which is a trend I expect to see later. They'll of course, take a hit and fall, but I think they'll increase again more than the newer letters have been.
Anyway, besides that, I noted that the January letters from 04 have been increasing. I don't know what the high prices are at right now, but apparently the Chain Wallets and the Januaries rose but the EMO bags stagnated. The prices in the marketplace are indicative of such a rise, but it feels like someone just went out and bought all the Jans juts for kicks or to make the prices rise, which has happened many times before in the past. I've updated that in the database.
Nitemare headbands took a plunge, so I updated that as well. And I also noted that Ice gauntlets have fallen - not sure about the reasons for those though.
And I think thats it for the updates. Oh and I updated the scarf prices - they're on the rise and they keep going up. (December 03 I mean) Right now, I'm wary of increasing the prices to an over-shooting amount so you may notice my prices are a bit lower than normal - please be aware of this as you do your trading.
And I also updated the November 03 hats.
Thats it for the price guide updates.
Other things
In terms of the other features, I haven't done much with them today but I'll work more on them tomorrow. I've also discovered a guild that tells people how to set up shop in RnC so I'll link to that tomorrow.
Special thanks to tamcharles for hosting some of the banners again for me. And also, we have a new moderator as you might see - Sinelo is going to be doing a program for the GCG that will make the guide become available off-site as an easier page to browse - there may also be new features implemented on that too. I'll be paying for half the fees to host it myself with cash.

Feb 25th
Today was a rough day, and an ender to a rough week. I was mosly attempting to do some vending with the time I had online. Did some work on the GCG of course though.
Price guide updates.
Did some more tweaking on the scarves. Hopefully this is more correct. Also tweaked the Devil's Tails slightly. Worked on some of the errors that were pointed out (thanks guys for that) and also fixed up the prices on some of the 04-05 things like the January 04s, and also the February 05s, which seem to be doing very well even now.
Features
Did some work on the exchanging and vending tutorial. I plan on linking to Sir Langley's guild which talks about how to set up shop in RnC, so that people interested in art can take a look for themselves. Also need to work on the store commons lists, which still need to be revamped.
Thats it for today. ^^ Not too much but just the general small things that are done to upkeep GCG daily.

Apologies for the lack of a journal last night - got hung up in other business, and forgot to update.
Price guide updates.
Lots of updates on the price guides. I tweaked a lot of the 04 items - Jans made a remarkable increase in the marketplace, and the Lunar Cloaks are still high at 7K, even though Solars have fallen to 6K. In 03, I updated some of the scarf prices, which seem to have stabilized, and made final adjustments for the OMG and Nov, and AFK Hats, which are hitting 300K easily these days.
Sashes have stagnated at the same price and Tails I think are going up - have to check around first though before those are updated.
Features
Going to work on the store commons again and see what I can do to update those in full. Those take a long time to complete but the more I leave it off, the less accurate it becomes. Buckling down and getting them done is something I'll have to do.
Other than that, there isn't much, besides a reminder to check VO's journal - there's a special surprise that Sherezade pointed out there.
