I don't know about you guys but I feel that M14 is not that great of a core set compared to last years set I've seen and have some of these cards for myself I only like certain cards in this set such as Dragon Egg, Scourge of Valkas and the Magus Staffs but other than that im not impressed.
As for M13 however they pulled out many awesome things they brought in Nicol Bolas making him the first multicolored permanant in a core set they also added Legendary creatures in the Intro decks which were EDH worthy that made me very happy to buy this set my notible cards in this set Thundermaw Hellkite, Nicol Bolas, Ajani Caller of the Pride, Lilliana of the Dark Relms.
Im sure you all have your favorite cards from M14 or M13 what are they? lets have a discussion.
In my opinion in M15 for next year I want to see new planeswalkers not the same person with a new name and new abilities people that are brand new or have not been in a core set yet example Red: Koth Green: Nissa Blue: Tamiyo White: Elspeth Black: possibly Sorin I do like him as a mono black planeswaler this is just an example Im sick of the same 5 being put in insted of new people getting a shot.

M14 is a pretty good limited, I like that it's very open in what you can do. I've been jumping from archetype to archetype, but I've been really impressed by Monogreen and UW Fliers. I wasn't happy with M13 limited too much, it felt like you had to play certain two color combinations sometimes and it got boring fast.

Kaim Arouet M14 is a pretty good limited, I like that it's very open in what you can do. I've been jumping from archetype to archetype, but I've been really impressed by Monogreen and UW Fliers. I wasn't happy with M13 limited too much, it felt like you had to play certain two color combinations sometimes and it got boring fast. I know what you mean I made a B/W Exalted deck I played with it a few times it got boring after awhile aswell.

M14 has some good combos, i'm just worried about how fast slivers will become meta, atm i'm using Scourge of Valkas to deal damage with dragon eggs and whelps

m14 has a great variety of difrent types to base daecks off of thats why i like m14 more
