(So, I'm going to be brutally honest. I am creating my own forum off of Gaia since Gaia moves so slow and I grow tired of relying on facebook for occult conversations. And.... Spells of Magic has too much idiocy. I am looking for some feed back on how clearly this defines Otherkin/Incarna without having to get into the various categorical details. So, for this post. I don't mind if you break it up into sections since this IS a wall of text.)

When a soul is created. It can come from various sources. If a wolf spirit gets it on with another wolf spirit. You get, a wolf spirit. If this wolf spirit gets incarnated into human form. You get a wolf spirit in a human body, or rather a fraction of a wolf spirit. If an angel gets it on with a demon and they have a child. You get a spirit that is half demon, half angel. If a half demon, half angel, gets it on with a half vampire changeling. You get, a demonic angel vampire changeling. Basically, supernatural entities can create spirits too. Spirits can get incarnated into human bodies. Therefore, not everyone in a human body has a human spirit. The flesh is basically a vessel we use to get around anyways.

Now, sometimes the human body cannot handle the full conscious or power of the spirit it comes from. Think of it like this... You are whole. You send a fraction of yourself into this reality so you can learn more, or for whatever reason. Pick one. As the fraction of yourself grows separately from you, or grows closer to you. Your own conscious as a whole expands. Spirits can be several places at once with different fractions of themselves. If you think about how so many people can talk to the same spirit this makes a lot of sense. Think of how many pathways of consciousness a completely whole spirit must handle at once. This is an excellent example of why a human brain cannot handle the full capacity of some spirits.

Sometimes, you run into role players, delusional people, or those who simply want to belong somewhere. So they take the idea of Otherkin and roll with it until they get so caught up in their own bullshit to the point they believe it themselves and invest an incredible amount of time and energy into getting others to believe their spiritual reality.

These are the people who give those Otherkin with legitimate cases to examine a bad name. It doesn't help when this is hard to prove. It doesn't help when people have angel souls OR when people have souls of spirits there is written text of. It doesn't help when people go around speaking as if they ARE these spirits and should be RESPECTED as such when truly they are simply a fraction of that spirit. However, they are still a part of that spirit.

Also, we don't have anywhere near a complete image or understanding of how the spirit world works. We have ideas though! It is when these various beliefs and ideas clash and get involved with Otherkin that this community of ours looks even more ridiculous. Yet despite all the delusional people, and those trying to make themselves look more important by speaking for a spirit claiming to be that spirit.

There are those who have always had an un-explainable urge to howl at the moon. There are those who have always had tendencies and habits that perfectly mirror the origins of their soul. This is before they are awakened to their Otherkin nature, and happens before they have a clue what's going on. There are those who are haunted by memories in dreams their entire lives without an explanation as to why!

So please... Don't dismiss us. Don't role play. Don't try and make yourself look bigger and badder than you really are. Don't disrespect others for sharing their stories. We're all just trying to find some truth concerning our origins. Could some of us or all of us be wrong? Absolutely. When you've seen evidence your whole life that is very hard to prove constantly reassuring you that you are right about being an Otherkin. It is hard to dismiss the notion. In the same way that once someone tangibly sees a ghost or spirit and knows what they saw. There is no turning back.

Please, respect us. Please, don't give us a bad name. Please, listen to us and make up your own mind from there.
