Mikal breathed in a deep breath of the midnight air. The air was drowned in the taste of beautiful crimson iron, and Mikal couldn't think of a better way to spend the last hours of his precious night. the hunter was no where to be found either. Perfect. Mikal had lured a beautiful, think piece of tail into the warehouse district and after trying him down, Mikal was enjoying every minute of the human's life draining from his body. Mikal predicted that he would be done with the boy with a few hours to spare. Mikal never liked to be late going home ever. It was a hassle to try and sleep, and stay out of the sun. One time, he even had to bury himself.
"...Helll...Hellp..," the bleeding boy cried weakly. it was pitiful, really. Humans were weak creatures, crying all the time. If they weren't so delicious, Mikal wouldn't even go near them. Mikal always washed the humans he ate and played with. They were some terribly dirty creatures, too. Mikal looked back at the human laying naked, broken on the ground. Mikal never liked when they ran away in the middle of things so the vampire snapped both of the human's legs. The cries almost got him excited, but his favourite part was the anger and fear. Mikal, as bad as it was, always ended up having sex with his victims. His father would probably be ashamed of him. Mikal had a dilemma, though. Recently, all the fear just stopped doing it for him. It was almost as if he was bored of it or something. The hunger, though. Ohhh, that hunter. His anger for the things Mikal did was enogh to keep him hot for days. The passion of it really was something truly disturbing to Mikal. He hated when the hunter showed up, but now-a-days if the hunter didn't show up, Mikal didn't see a point in finishing. His dinner and sex toy just wasn't the same. They were better as just a meal. There was another troubling thing on his mind about the hunter. He couldn't stop thinking about him. His mind left idle would drift like a magnet to their fights and talks, and that is when his passion would come back. Mikal didn't understand it.
"Please... Just...kill me..," the thing on the floor pleaded, wanting a mercy that Mikal lost the ability to give decades ago.
"Oh, why aren't you more fun? Why don't you show some spirit? Maybe some willpower and strength?" Mikal questioned, getting a strangled sob out of the useless human. "Fine, but I hope you know tears don't taste as good as rage," Mikal told the thing before latching onto his neck and sucking on the blood that poured from it.
The moonlight was sinking into the warehouse through the large windows at the top of the building. It was a beautiful to see the boy's porcelain skin gleam as he gasped his last breath.
"Goodnight, my love," Mikal stated twisted-ly, feeling the heart stop. Once the blood stopped pumping it was no good. It was also dangerous. To drink dead man's blood was like a human drinking drain-o. Now blood bank packs were okay--nasty, but they wouldn't kill you. Straight from a dead body, though, was a death wish for sure.

"You know, you should really find a new favourite playground," called a playful voice from a broken window of the old warehouse. The slayer kicked a few pieces of glass down to the floor. "You get that bored without me here, Mikal? You already killed him. Now I see no reason to really attack you unless, of course, you attack me first," he sneered down at him before dropping a good twenty feet to the floor. "Ugh, smells like death in here," he complained, wrinkling up his nose. He crossed his arms, blade in his hand shining in the moon light. He stared down the vampire from the thirty feet away, waiting for his next move.

Mikal almost perked up too much sharing the other's voice. "Slayer! I was waiting for you, and so was my friend here. Because, you know, I told him all about you, and honestly he was dying to meet you. Unfortunately, it was just too much for him. You know I can't stand the 'Please just kill me now' act for too long. If you would be quicker, maybe you could actually save someone. What does this make? Fifty-three for me and zero for you? For someone that plays at the same playground, you really haven't caught onto my game," Mikal pointed out deviously. He loved when that anger came out of the slayer. It was like food or his dead corpse soul. "Are you really looking for the fight now? I'm good for another week just off of this blood. You know that. I'm in premium condition," Mikal called out to the slayer. Mikal, for his age, was as tough as they came. Mikal was only about one-hundred and seventy years old, and looked about twenty. He was about as powerful as a four-hundred year-old vampire, though. Father was very proud of Mikal, and all his children, but Mikal especially because he was infamous.

The slayer scowled. "I suppose a fight wouldn't be worth it. What, would you just prefer to talk? Get to know each other better? That seems to have no point either. Please, suggest something, because I have nowhere else to be, and I really don't want to go home right now." He sighed, beginning to play with the knife.

"Family problems, Slayer? Don't be a crybaby about it. If you want to fight, I'll be glad. Torturing you until you gasp your last breath would be like finding the Holy Grail," Mikal stated happily, moving closer to the slayer.

The slayer's eyes narrowed a bit as MIkal moved. His grip tightened on the handle of the knife. "You won't kill me, Mikal. You know you can't. Because after I'm gone, you'd never have any fun. You'd drive yourself crazy trying to quench your thirst for thrill. Oh, yeah, I know your thoughts on me." He smirked at him, eyes gleaming.

Mikal laughed at the slayer's silly thoughts. "There will be other slayers. There must always be the same amount of slayers. the slayer court commands it so. After you, I'll find another. Maybe someone that is an actual challenge for me," Mikal sneered back with a confident face on. Even if he thought he may be attached to this slayer, he had been known as a slayer killer. He would never give in to that urge.

"But the next may not give into your senseless games, Mikal. You should know that better than anyone." He turned on his heel and began walking to the door. "But, if you honestly feel as thought you don't...require my...services, I'll just leave the chase alone, and you'll just become another no threat vampire that doesn't even require a hunter's attention. At least not mine."

Mikal growled a little under his breath at the stupid slayer. In about a second's time, the vampire picked up a nearby piece of steel and chucked it at the slayer who turned to leave. He was growing testy now.

The slayer quickly dodged and skid to a stop, grinning at him. "Admit it, Mikal. You'd miss me if I were gone. Just admit it." He had the knife bared in one hand, a metal stake in the other.

"Only if you admit if I was gone, you would miss me," Mikal laughed at the slayer. The fact that the slayer had a knife that won't kill him and a metal stake that wouldn't kill him in hand amused Mikal. The slayer wasn't getting progressively more stupid, was he?

"Oh, I'd miss you, alright. Until another filthy bloodsucker caught my attention. You see, I can move on easily. There are many, many of you. Hell, I can even go after the rest of your little family. Me, though. There's no telling when the next slayer in this area will entertain you as much as I. It may even be a female, and I know you don't find any joy in those. You always go after the cute little teen boys. I don't remember a single time you've kept a girl hostage." he put his weapons away then.

"That's because I like the struggle--the brutal fight of young, strong men. Women are weak. You, in all honesty, are weak. I would have killed you by now had I not already decided that it's wrong to kill the helpless. I mean, look at this one. He was the star quarterback. I watched him long enough to know he could bench 150, at least. So the fact that he gave in so easily shows weakness on mankind, and you personally rather than rather than bad on my part for looking fo ra challenge," Mikal replied seeming unamused by the slayer's lame attempt at calling him, him weak. Or needing of him, the slayer.

The slayer just smirked. "I love how you lie to yourself in order to save your damp pride. Admit it. You're attracted to me." He began walking a slow circle around him. "That's why you can't bring yourself to kill me. You're attracted. Hooked. Obsessed. You capture victims just to lure me out to you. If I were to ignore you, you'd drive yourself insane. You couldn't go a sane two weeks without hearing my voice."

"Well, aren't you self-centered? Don't kid yourself, love. You aren't half my strength or speed. If I wanted you, you would be on the ground right where I wanted you. But I don't. And I feel like right now, you are wasting my precious time," Mikal said bored-ly before starting to the door of the warehouse, not caring about the slayer's "stealthy tactics".

the slayer smirked as he watched the vampire head to the door. He slid a knife out of his belt and slung it towards the vampire, purposely missing his head and sticking it in a wooden panel beside the door. "I guess I'll test my theory, then," he called as he walked to him. "Let's see how long you last," he whispered menacingly as he passed him, grabbing the knife on the way. He exited and walked off into the night.
He could alter be found at a bar, talking to his friend, the bartender. "So, you know that vamp I've been chasing? Mikal? And how I swear he's obsessed with me," he laughed. "So I'm gonna ignore him and see how long he can last before going insane." He took a sip of his T&G, drinking the rest of it. He glanced over, seeing a woman shooting him flirtatious looked. He smirked. "Talk to you later, man," he told him absently while walking over to her. "Hey, Babe. You a bit lonely over here? I could always entertain you over at my place, Gorgeous." He smiled sweetly at her.

Mikal laughed at his childish test. The slayer wanted to ignore him! He would show him what a stupid decision he made. The vampire in a rage, without thought and without care, went out and killed anyone in his path. He didn't even eat, only killed out of passion. Weaker vampires, unable to kill as well started to follow behind to feed of of his leftovers. By the time the cold, angry vampire made it back to the mansion on the extreme outskirts of the city, he had killed about a hundred innocent people. Father was going to certainly be mad and ground him, but Mikal was too angry to care at the moment.
"Hey, Baby, want to buy me a blood and Vodka?" the young female vampire purred, knowing very well of the slayer, but with the bartender right there, she would play nice. It was the only monster friendly bar in town, getting on the bad side of it meant basically death from the connections the bar owned from regulars.

"But of course," he said politely. "Hey, Buddy, can we get a B&V over here?" he called to his best friend. "This pretty, young little vamp would like her thirst quenched," he added, shooting the woman a look with a wide smirk.

"Ooh, slayer, I did not ever know that you had a desire for vampires. How exciting," she continued to coo seductively before she leaned over, placing her hand high on his thigh, her vibrant green eyes staring into the slayer's.

The slayer chuckled a little. "I don't just like the dance of war with vampires, you know. I do enjoy pleasuring myself with a companion from time to time," he purred a little. "It's more of a rush with vampires, I find. And I even let them live if they behave and don't attack me. i even allow a little biting," he breathed, leaning into her space a bit, running a hand up her arm and sweeping some hair over her shoulder. "You're very beautiful," he complimented softly, running a thumb over her cheek.

"Way to make a girl feel special," she giggled a little before leaning in all the way and kissing him with a small amount of passion. "You are pretty handsome yourself, Baby. How many drinks is it going to take to get out of here and into a bed somewhere?" she asked hotly, leaning over to speak right into the slayer's ear.

"Babe, we can go right now if you'd like," he breathed against her neck, dragging his lips along her throat.
Half an hour later, he was dragging her in his door. "Come on in," he breathed against her lips as the door was shut behind them. He pulled her down the dark hallway to his bedroom, pushing her down onto his bed in the moon-lit room from the window being open. He let his jacket and shirt fall to the floor, sliding the knife from his belt. He set it on the bedside table. "Just in case," he told her with a daring smirk. then he climbed on top of her and smashed their lips together hotly, quickly moving down to her throat, nipping and sucking on it as he slid her shirt off of her body. "Nice tattoo," he said hotly, breathing on her neck. He glanced down and ran his fingers gently over the markings.

The female vampire hungrily kissed back loving the desire the slayer had. Honestly the girl had never pictured the slayer of all people to want to be with a vampire. It was so scandalous. It was so skin-tingling. It was so hot! Her sharp-nailed hands reached for his pants as he lifted off her shirt. Proudly stamped across her chest was the tattoo "Do Not Resuscitate". "Thank you." She smirked, pulling his neck to her mouth and teasingly licking it.

"Mmm, Baby. You're allowed some blood, but only a taste. Not too much, though, or I have a pretty blade waiting at my disposal," he purred, groping her chest with one hand, and sliding his other inside of her skirt. His mouth moved down to her other breast and shoved her bra down, sucking on it and teasing the n****e.

"Ahh, if you wish, then I shall," she whispered hotly before biting down on his neck just enough to pierce the skin, but not to open an artery. A small amount of blood started to leak from the bite as he bit down on her breast. "Ahh," she breathed before licking up the absolutely fantastic blood.

The Slayer groaned at the bite then teased her more, beginning to rub her nether regions. "Mm, Baby, you want me inside you?" he asked hotly, dry-humping her slow and hard. "You want me to ******** you?" He licked the blood off of her breast slowly, sucking hard on it.

"Aah, yes! Oh, Baby, yes! ******** me!" she groaned hotly, thrusting back at his dry-humps. There was a fire burning in her body and she couldn't quite figure out why. Sex had never done this to her. Her tongue moved across his neck again, sucking up the blood that appeared since she last did it. Her body gave another jolt. It was the Slayer's blood...

He grinned and growled a bit, ripping her underwear off. He shoved up her skirt and pulled his pants down a bit so he was completely exposed. Then he lifted her legs, spreading them wide before thrusting quickly inside her. "Mm, Baby," he moaned, beginning to thrust roughly, gripping onto her hips tightly.

"Aaah!" she screamed in excitement. All her senses were completely fried thanks to the blood making everything feel like explosions were going off in her nerves. Her body was quivering, but she was begging for more with every thrust. If someone were to question her, she wouldn't be able to tell anyone anything. Not her name, not that she was a vampire... The feeling in her body was like being reborn in complete pleasure. She felt alive again.

"Mm, Baby. You like that?" he panted, thrusting harder and faster, pounding into her body. "Mmm, ********. Nn..." He gripped her hair and yanked her head backwards, attacking her throat and neck with teeth and lips and tongue.

Her speech was reduced to more babbling of groans and moans mixed with the volume of her screams. "Aah... Slay--aaaaah--err--ah... Rig--aah... Theeeiiaaaahhhrrr," she breathed moans. Her sharp nails now digging into his back and his hair.

Slayer aimed to thrust right into that spot. "Mm, Baby, I'm gonna c**," he grunted out, thrusts becoming wilder as the minutes passed by. He swore he felt eyes watching him through his previously forgotten window, but he tried to ignore it.

Her vocal chords sounded like they were giving with every scream. All this amazing pleasure electrifying her gave her motion and life again, and yet it also felt like it was killing her. All the elements fell upon her with incredible force with each thrust the Slayer gave. She would not be able to notice a person laying right next to her she was so deafened by the feelings yet so enlightened she didn't understand any of it nor did she care.

"Oh, ********..," she Slayer groaned as he plummeted inside of her once more before coming hard inside of her. "Mm... That's so ******** good..," he breathed as he pulled out.

Her body felt so broken by the end, like she was experiencing the worse crash ever. The fleeting pleasure made her body shake with chills as it she didn't know how to function. Her eyes cracked open having been shut most of the time now were a deep blood red instead of a crystal blue. Vampires didn't technically need to breath, but most did it out of habit now. She was hugging in and out air and none of it made a difference. Her lungs were burning. Her heart was decaying again. It was as if she literally was once again turned. Her eyes set on the bite mark on his neck. She knew how to get the feeling of being alive back. Without any more thought, she lunged at him. With impressive force, she pinned him down and started sucking on the blood, forcibly opening the wound wide. Her hunger was un-filling, yet she didn't pull back.

Slayer grunted as they fell off of the bed and to the floor. He reached under his dresser quickly and pulled out a blade. He quickly sliced her head off.

There was a deafening scream that sounded so far from graceful that it could have easily cracked glass. The scream died shortly after and her body froze and hardened. Within minutes, she was nothing but a pile of dust covering the slayer's mostly-naked body. In the midnight air, the world was silent. The moonlight glowed hauntingly as the faint screams of the outside world came back to the bedroom. A fading laugh echoed through the room then was gone with the cool breeze of the night.

The Slayer sighed and stood to go take a shower. He stood under the hot shower and sighed, willing himself to relax.
Fifteen minutes later he was in nothing but sleeping pants, vacuuming up the dust. Ten minutes after that, he lay wide awake in bed, just staring up at the ceiling idly, mind blank. No matter what he did, he always felt so...alone.

The night was not endless. The sun rose and with the sun came the hiding of the creatures of the night. The body count by ten o' clock news was about 123 victims dead and 14 wounded in critical at the hospital. Mikal didn't kill all those people, but he definitely let it get out that the killing could ensue without punishment last night.
"It was stupid of you to do that, Mikal. the council will definitely be upset with the mass hysteria and murder. Especially since you did it after a childish word fight with the Slayer," Father cited Mikal from the door of his room. Mikal was sulking in complete darkness, just angrily staring up at the ceiling. He was still covered in blood, but he was so frustrated he didn't even have the patience for a shower. "Whatever. This town was getting to populated, anyway," Mikal grumbled before the elder vampire just sighed and left. You couldn't deal with Mikal when he got like this.

"Man, wake up! Look at the ******** news! That favourite of yours is on a ******** rampage, Bryan!" yelled a voice to wake him up before Bryan, the Slayer heard the TV turn on. He opened his bleary eyes and sat up, yawning. He blinked at the television. "There has been a mass murder last night. It is believed to be the work of a vampire..." "********..," he groaned, running a hand through his hair. "********' Mikal. ********' ridiculous..." "C'mon, Buddy. Get up. You gotta get to school," his friend told him. Bryan just groaned and pulled the blankets over his head again. "Dude, get up. I know you were up late, but you gotta get to your classes."
An hour later, he was pulling up to his college and getting out of the car. Once he sat down in his English class, he slammed his head down on his table and groaned loudly.

There was a cheerful chime of vocals from the door as a bubbly light-brown-haired teen skipped into the classroom. "Morning, sunshine!" the ridiculously happy vampire chirped to the Slayer on his way passed. There classroom didn't have the blinds open, so Heison didn't have to bother wearing his gloomy over-cloak. Heison was one of the handful of vampires that was known for his anti-human diet. He never could stomach human blood, and in return the college let him attend classes. He was a curious case and it was beneficial to show the rewards of not attacking humans. Heison was also extremely sweet. He couldn't hurt anyone if he tried. He didn't even kill for food. A local butcher drained it from the animals he killed and saved it for him. Heison was also friendly with everyone. It didn't matter what they were--human, vampire, "it" creature. Heison's only fault was his family. Unfortunately, Heison belong to a family constantly in trouble for killing. His older brother Mikal especially. Most people saw past his family, though, even the Slayer seemed to like Heison. Heison had nicknamed Bryan "Sunshine" the first time they talked because he was the light for the humans. It also sounded adorable. Taking his seat behind Bryan, Heison leaned over hsi table, watching him with a smile on his face, waiting for a response.

Bryan chuckled as he was greeted. "G'morning, Beautiful," he said softly as he sat up again. "How was your sleep? I hear your deal older brother went on quite the rampage last night. I think he's a little pissed at me. I bet him he couldn't go a long time without hearing my voice. He's obviously obsessed with me. So I'm ignoring him."

Heison giggled a little when Bryan called him beautiful. "Wonderful. Sleeping during the night is an odd sensation. I definitely am still getting used to it even after months of school," Heison said happily, growing quiet after hearing the news. "H-He what?" Heison stuttered slightly. He didn't see the news, so the fact that his brother did something bad was unknown to him. Their family lived in a mansion. When one of them didn't want to be seen, they weren't. Their father would know, but the others were kept in the dark. Heison hated mindless killing, though. It was just cruel. Mikal was Heison's brother, and Heison did love him, but when he did things like this, it was hard to. "I-I don't know... H-H-He didn't k-k-kill to-too many, d-did he?" Heison mumbled, trying his hardest not to cry, but his watery eyes were showing.

Bryan frowned, leaning over to him and hugging him tightly. "Sorry, Hei. I thought you knew. he went on a rampage last night, but I'll set him straight for you, okay?" He kissed the top of his head comfortingly. Aside from his bartender best friend Leonard, Heison was his best friend as well. He was just fun to be around and always brought up his mood greatly. Plus, he was absolutely adorable.

Heison sniffed a little at Bryan's words. "Really? O-Okay, but don't be mean, Sunshine. Mikal doesn't know what he is doing sometimes. His emotions carry him away and he loses himself for days. I-I still love him, no matter what he does, but y-you are probably right. He needs to be talked to about this. M-Maybe Father will talk to him. He learns better from Father. You just seem to entice him, Sunshine. I don't quite get why," Heison said, sniffling a little through his words, but he seemed to be okay after Bryan's comforting words.

Bryan smiled a little. "alright. You wanna go to Leonard's bar after classes? We can get some ice cream. Of course, yours with your lovely cow blood syrup on it. It'll make you feel better," he teased with a smile, nudging him a bit playfully. "It'll make your brother jealous, too. That's always fun. It may lure him out so I can talk to him, too. I've never seen him kill that many people in one night. I think I really upset him."

"Really, Sunshine? that would be great! Thank you, Sunshine! You are really too sweet!" Heison cheered happily to Bryan's offer to go to the bar with him and get ice cream. Heison nodded a little with a slight gloom overtaking his face when he started to talk about Mikal. "You know... This comes as a surprise to me, though, really. I know Mikal was still feeding on human blood, but since he met you, he was getting better... Now this... I don't think Mikal will come out of the mansion for at least a week. That is what he does when he gets really upset or mad. The last time I knew of a situation like this, Mikal was caught in bed with an elder vampire, and they killed his lover as punishment. His punishment for it having been to live on without them," Heison explained to Bryan, looking up at the blackboard as the teacher echo-ed through the hall of desks before starting class.

Bryan gave him a surprised look. "He was...getting better because of me?" he asked incredulously. Heison didn't get the chance to answer because the teacher announced the start of class.

Classes seemed pretty long to Heison. He just wanted to get it all over with so he could go with Sunshine to the bar. Heison was pretty smart, but he had been going to school for about twenty years now, so information just stuck with him now. He just liked the environment and learning new things everyday, so he kept coming back each year. Father was ridiculously rich, so if Heison wanted to go to school for the rest of his vampire life he was free to do so. Tuition and books aside, Father was just happy Heison didn't constantly bug him anymore. Ding, Ding, Ding. The school bells chimed happily before Heison jumped up out of his seat happily, staring for the door. The professor barking for him to stay after for his eagerness, of course. He didn't mind, though. Their professor wasn't too terrible, just a little crazy. Plus, the real reason the professor wanted Heison to stay was to tell him the school was doing a performance test on the students, and he wanted Heison to partake in the test. "Sunshine! Oh my, Sunshine!" Heison exclaimed as he leaped happily from the room and tackle-hugged Bryan. Like some starfish, Heison was an expert at jumping and attaching to things, especially people. Heison gleamed happily at Bryan with his legs now tightly wrapped around his waist.

Bryan grunted as he was jumped on outside of the room. He laughed a little then, regaining his balance as he held the very light vampire up. "What's up, beautiful?" he asked with a smile. "Ready for that ice cream now?" he asked, resting his forehead comfortably against the vamp's. He was like Bryan's adorable little brother.

"Yup, yup! Ice cream! Ice cream! Oh, Sunshine, what would I do without you? Or, better yet, how would I feed my sweet tooth without you! Both are extremely important to me, of course. I love you, Sunshine, and if Mikal wasn't my brother, then I would make you completely mine," Heison giggled playfully, hugging Bryan's torso warmly. He didn't seem like he was getting down anytime soon, and Bryan was just going to have to cary him to the bar. Not a completely rare thing, but normally Bryan wasn't so willing to carry him all the way to where they were going.

"Haha, so you know he's obsessed with them, too, eh? No offense, Beautiful, but your brother's a jealous b***h. I can't be completely yours, Heis, but I can be yours for a short time," he purred playfully as he headed towards his car. He opened the passenger-side door and dropped him into the seat. Then he kissed him on the forehead, made sure his cloak was covering him where the sun was, and shut the door. Then he got into his own seat, starting the car.

Heison shrugged a little. "You know you say that, but I guess it is just different with vampires, but it doesn't bother me that Mikal wants you. When you live for a very long time like we do, you understand what you like in a person and the type of relationship that is going to work out and the kind that isn't. The fact that Mikal is taking interest in you, after having no attachment with anyone for upwards of fifty years, is something special and I would never take that away from Mikal." Heison said softly before being loaded into the car and kissed on the forehead. Bryan was so sweet and he probably could be so good for Mikal, but they were both so stubborn, either of them probably wanted to see it. "Plus, I like you much as a friend to try dating you. You don't seem like the commitment type, and I'm pretty nuts when I'm dating someone." Heison said giving an innocent giggle, but it almost sounded slightly terrifying with his statement.

Bryan's demeanor softened when Heison began explaining his thoughts on them dating. He was lost in thought after Heison mentioned that he hadn't had a love interest in over fifty years. Fifty years? How the hell was Bryan so special to catch someone's attention after no interest in love for over fifty years? He scowled slightly to himself at his thoughts as he buckled his seatbelt and started the car. he was brought back by Heison's slightly terrifying statement. He had to laugh at that. "Yeah, you're right. I guess I don't hold that well to commitment. I don't really wanna get tied down or anything considering the general lifespan of a Slayer is, well...less than how long I've managed to survive. I'm lucky I've made it to twenty-four. Very lucky. I don't exactly want to get someone all attached to me and then have to see me die early-on...or, worse, me get attached to them, then some monster or whatever use them as bait or a hostage or...or something." He frowned at himself again, looking ahead at the road as he drove down the road to the ice cream shoppe. "I don't wanna get anyone hurt."

Heison turned his head a little to the side as Bryan spoke about how he didn't want to risk getting in a relationship with someone. "You know what they say, it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. I'm sure Mikal would agree." Heison said thinking about the old painting that Mikal still had of his previous love that the council killed. Although it made Mikal sad, Heison was sure that the older vampire didn't regret loving the guy. Heison was never actually able to meet the guy, but from what he was told by father, he was very well respected and wealthy. He didn't remember the man, but he remember Mikal leaving for a couple years to sort out the fortune that the man had left all to Mikal.

Bryan frowned slightly in thought. Heison was right, he guessed. He was just scared of someone getting hurt because of his selfishness. He had to chuckle a little, though, at Heison's words of Mikal agreeing. "Yeah, right. It's more of--It's better to have eaten than to pass up a fresh meal--with him, I think. Then again, I guess you know him better. He is your brother, after all." He shrugged a little, still kind of lost in his thoughts. Not thirty seconds after he finished talking, he pulled into the parking lot of the bar and parked his car in his reserved parking space near the door. He got out of his car after turning it off and shut his door before hurrying around to Heison's door. He opened up the car door, made sure he was absolutely covered by the material of his cloak so he wouldn't even get a little burned in the three feet of sunlight there was from the car door to the front door of the bar, then helped him out and almost threw him over into the shade of the awning. He slammed the door shut and locked his car before opening the bar door for him and ushering him inside. "Dahvie! Dahve, someone's here to see you! And he wants ice cream," he called out with a small chuckle. Dahvie was always ecstatic to see Heison. Every time he came in, Dahvie acted like he just won the lottery.

A tall red-headed man with clean-shaven stubble, gauged ears and bright green eyes bounded out from the back room when he heard that someone came to see him...and wanted ice cream. Of course, he automatically knew who it was going to be. "Heison!" he exclaimed happily, hopping the counter and bounding right into him. He wrapped his arms around the vampire and lifted him up just long enough to spin him around once then set him back down. At least he could spin him now. The first few times he tried to do that, the man stumbled under the surprising weight of the vampire. "What's the occasion? You don't come in here to visit near as often as I'd like, you know," he teased the vampire, grin stretching his face.

Heison smiled brightly as he walked into the bar. He loved seeing Dahve. Every time he saw the redhead, he just felt all bubbly inside. As the sexy green eyed man came out from the back room, Heison squealed a little. "Heyy Dahive!" He giggled a little hugging him before feeling those strong arms wrap around him. It was almost intoxicating feeling the other so close and breathing in the man's scent. Humans only got a small piece of what people really smelled like. A vampire with their heightened senses could smell people on a completely different level, and Dahve always smelled so fantastic. The best way to describe Dahve's smell was like deep passionate sex on a freshly dewed field. "Do I need an occasion to come see you Dahive?? I just wanted to see your sexiness!" Heison whined a little pretending to be hurt by the assumption that there was an occasion.

Heison would probably come more often, but was hard to get around during day without help. He would come at night, but it always made him jealous the way that everyone always looked at Dahve. Yea, the man probably could have his pick of anyone, or anything else in some cases, but Heison liked to believe that he really just liked him. Yes, it was selfish. Yes, it was probably untrue. But, he wanted to believe it, and no one could tell him otherwise.

Dahvie laughed a bit at the cute little vampire. He was so adorable, he almost couldn't help but kiss him. Almost. But he restrained himself and retreated back behind the counter to fix Heison that ice cream he wanted. "You wanted vanilla bean with hot blood, right?" he said knowingly as he smiled at him. "Of course you don't need an occassion to come see me! You can come visit me as much as you want, Sweetie. I never get tired of having you around. I miss when you used to come visit me while I worked. I get tired of making small-talk with all those customers. They all try to get a piece of me in one way or another." He glanced up at the vampire as he slid the dish of ice cream across the counter to him, dipping a spoon in it and holding it up for Heison to take a bite. His eyes shone as he looked up at him. "And the only person I actually want to have a piece of me never comes in anymore," he purred, the sound rumbling deep from his chest.

While the epic proportions of flirtation filled the air around him, Bryan plopped himself down on a stool one away from Heison and rested his elbow on the counter, propping his chin on the palm of his hand as he watched the two. There was obvious attraction radiating from both of them. They seemed to work really well together as well. This made him have a little hope at vampires and humans coexisting a little better. Then again...Heison was a really special case of vampire, so he wasn't sure it really applied here.

The small framed vampire happily planted himself in the bar stool in front of Dahvie. "You know me so fantastically well," He cheered after being asked if vanilla bean with blood was what he wanted. Of course, Heison only drank animal blood, but most of the bars that served blood at all, it was just animal. It was a little difficult to request blood for eating purposes and actually have them accept. Vampires and humans coexisted, but it was more of a love-hate relationship. Some people liked vampires, others were completely against them. "I would come, but I don't want to run off all of your business. I can't take all those wandering eyes on you. I don't blame them, of course. I just don't like seeing them do it." Heison said in a playful manner even though he was being completely honest. Heison blinked a little staring into Dahve's eyes as he offered him some of the ice cream on a spoon. The dark haired vampire slowly leaned forward taking the ice cream off the silverware, momentarily dipping his eyes closed as he did so. "mm, maybe we can just plan to see each other when I don't have to share your attention with anyone else." Heison ghosted in a low voice. The sentence didn't even seem to come out as sound, but at the same time, it could be heard loud and clear. Almost as if he just mouthed the words and telepathically told it to Dahvie.

Although the likelihood of that being so was almost near impossible, because the only time vampires could talk telepathically was if they shared a deep, personal, bond with another. Most sires could talk individually with their children, but it wasn't like an intercom or anything. They had to be face to face, and it would only happen between two people/vampires at a time. Heison personally had only done it once with father back when he was still father's lover and not one of his children. It was the night father turned him actually...

Dahvie's eyes flashed at Heison's flirtatious suggestion. It sounded like he whispered it right into his ear, or was just inside Dahvie's mind. A slow, suggestive, down-right sexy smirk slid onto his features. He began to eye Heison like he was a big, sexy cheeseburger and he hadn't eaten in weeks. "I think something could be arranged," Dahvie returned as a reply to Heison's flirting. "Closing down early tonight if you'd like to meet me here around midnight."

Bryan, idly observing the two, blinked in confusion as he watched Heison's lips move but no sound come out. He strained his ears, thinking he may be going insane. Maybe he just said it silently to himself. Maybe it wasn't meant for anyone's ears. But...when he looked up at the bartender, he saw his expression change so drastically in just a second's time...then do the same thing the vampire had done. His lips moved, but no sound at all came out of his mouth. He looked between the two incredulously. What the hell was going on? He wasn't deaf, because he heard the spoon clunk back into the bowl of ice cream. He heard the two shuffling about to get into a comfortable position. "What the ******** just happened?" he asked irately, hating not knowing how or why things were happening.

Heison could have looked at Dahvie looking at him with that smirk on for the rest of eternity and wanted nothing more. It was one of the most sexiest things, he had ever seen, and he had to physically restrain himself from jumping over the counter when he felt his leg muscles twitch. It was when Dahve replied back that Heison finally realized that they were speaking telepathically. Heison, having experienced it before, knew what was going on and it only seemed to make the young vampire want the bartender more knowing they shared such a deep bond. The dark brunette opened his mouth to reply that he would love to, but hearing the slayer join their world scatter their psychic link. It was almost like a draining feeling having it pulled away so suddenly. Heison shook it off though trying to let the blow affect him.

"...huh? Oh umm it's a vampire thing, I would have thought you would have heard of it before, but they call it realm links. It is really rare, but sometimes when a vampire connects with a person or another vampire, they can actually talk psychically. It's weird. You would have to experience it to understand it. You could go try it sometimes with Mikal. He is the master of it." Heison said playing off the fact that Dahve and him were having a deep sexual conversation with his brother.

Dahvie jumped a bit, actually startled because he had completely forgotten that his best friend was in the room right across the bar from him for the duration of the intimate conversation he and the vampire had. As he listened to Heison speak, he was a bit shocked at the realization that he and Heison apparently had a very strong bond with one another. He grunted a little, feeling his c**k twitch in his pants. Damn, knowing how close they were to each other just enticed his libido so hard he had to use sheer willpower to keep the foreboding erection at bay. The thought also made his heart swell in happiness. He felt so close to him now, and it was wonderful. His thoughts snapped back to Heison's voice as he mentioned something about Bryan trying the telepathic thing with Mikal. But...that would mean...

"Bryan! Have you been taking your patrols as sexy time with Mikal? I thought you couldn't stand him! We don't make out with blood-thirsty vampires that have tried to kill you on a regular basis, Bryan! It's not a healthy relationship!" he scolded like an older brother would. Bryan's face instantly flushed red.

"No! Why the hell would I do that, Dahve? God, no, I wouldn't make out with him!" He whipped around to turn on Heison then, glaring slightly. "And how dare you even suggest a thing! Something like that wouldn't even happen between me and him anyway!" He scoffed, folding his arms and scowling. Bryan shook his head in disappointment. "Man, I knew you ******** anything that moved, and that you have a thing for vampires, but this is just a bit much." He promptly got growled at from the Slayer across the bar.

Heison glanced back down at the ice cream as the two started to get into it. He picked up the spoon and started to pick at the ice cream with a yawn. It was just about time for him to go to sleep so he could wake up later in the night without missing the whole night. Yes, the realm links were amazing, but they took a lot of out a vampire when they were just broken like that. Of course, Heison would never say that Bryan. He didn't want to get into between Dahve and Bryan's friendship. They had been friends like since birth or something ridiculous like that. Heison had only known the two for a year or so now.

"Hey don't turn this on me! And don't lie, with how passionately you hate each other, just think of how passionate you guys could be with one another. I mean you sure seem to think that Mikal is into you like that." Heison pointed out thinking about the way the two acted objectively. The brunette vampire then turned to look at Dahvie after hearing him say that Bryan was going too far. The vampire knew that Dahve probably just meant dating someone that had attempted to kill you, but it sounded a lot like he was saying that dating vampires in general was a bad thing. Yes, his race tended to be cruel, but it was still his race. Whether he liked the things they did or not, they were family one way or another.

Dahvie sighed at his best friend, shaking his head at him. "Don't start lashing out at people that have nothing to do with your anger, Stupid," he warned him, scowling a bit.

Bryan scowled right back at him, inwardly a little shocked at Heison's words. He hadn't thought of it like that before... But why would he? He was just a stupid vampire that liked to maim people. Stupid, stupid Mikal. "Whatever," he grumbled to himself, glowering as he rested his forehead on the counter, starting to get a headache. This was just too annoying...

Shaking his head again, Dahvie poured the poor Slayer a drink and slid it to him before turning back to Heison. "So," he said, trying to get into that flirtatious frame of mind again, "were you gonna come over tonight and see me?" he purred to him, leaning over the counter to get just a little closer to him.

Bryan glanced up at the drink with a small scowl before downing it in one go. He sighed as he heard the two start to flirt again. God, he didn't know if he could handle much more of this. He just always felt so lonely when those two got together. They had so much chemistry--especially for being a human and a vampire--that it made him wonder if anything would ever actually happen to him relationship-wise.

Heison chuckled a little when Bryan shrugged them off with a ‘whatever’. Maybe it was because vampires had a way of reading humans easily, but Heison knew that Bryan deep down liked Mikal. That given the chance, Bryan would probably sleep with Mikal in a heartbeat. There was almost TOO much sexual tension between the two. Maybe it was way they fought all the time. They both wanted each other so badly, but because of their class and race, they could bridge the gap to one another. Then again from what father spoke about Mikal past lovers, apparent he liked the more spirited beings.

“That’s okay Sunshine, we still love you,” Heison said softly as he watched the slayer before he turned back to Dahve who was pouring a drink for Bryan. A stiff drink would probably help him loose up about being around the two. It was a terrible reality, but most people just didn’t agree with a vampire and a human getting together. Heison glanced over at Dahvie as he heard him speak up again. “I’m definitely going to try, but now that I actually think about it, I may not be allow to leave again once I go home for my afternoon nap. There is probably a lot of heat on the family after what Mikal did. If father had been up when I left the house this morning, he probably would have told me not to go to my classes today.” The brunette said softly before putting another spoonful of ice cream into his mouth.

The vampire’s sparkling blue eyes looked up into Davhe’s forest green eyes after he put the spoon back down into the bowl. How did Heison miss the human leaning in towards him over the counter? They were so close now since Heison had been leaning over the bowl of ice cream. The small-framed vampire swallowed to empty his mouth and to stop himself from blushing. “I would hate to miss out on see you twice in one day. That is a treat all within itself.”

Dahvie pouted a little when Heison said there wasn't a great chance of him being able to come and see him tonight. He was really upset about it, but he wouldn't let it show that much. Just a little cute pouting. That was all. He glanced down at the vampire's lips as he pulled the spoon slowly, almost teasingly from behind his plump little lips. He licked his own lips, wetting them a little since they were so dry. He looked back up into his eyes just as Heison looked straight into his soul, it seemed. They were so close together now. God, he could practically taste the vampire already... "If you think seeing me twice a day's a treat, then me being able to see you twice in a day is a blessing," he purred right back, whispering as his breath hit the vampire's lips. He didn't notice the way he was steadily inching closer unconsciously. "By the way, you're welcome inside my house any time," he added, breathily.

Bryan snorted to himself at the sight before getting up and walking out of the pub for some fresh air. He couldn't take anymore of their flirting. He sighed as he leaned on the outside wall of the back of the shop right beside the door. He looked up at the sky between the lines of the rooving of the slim alleyway. It had been a while since he could actually stay still long enough to just watch the clouds or enjoy a nice day... Those days were so far behind him. He frowned deeply at the thought and crossed his arms over his chest. He leaned his head back against the dirty brick and continued to examine the sky, enjoying one of the very few tranquil moments he got.
