How do you as individual find the Gods talking to you? Is it while you do normal everyday stuff or mostly in rituals?

Some people never hear a god or goddess talk to them. They may communicate in other, more subtle ways, that are not verbal.
For me, I do 'speak' with them, both in and out of ritual. I may or may not speak outloud, but I tend towards silence normally. Most of my speech with Them is mental. Usually it's a single comment or thought, shared as I go through a normal day. I have multiple shrines to tend and work to do, so we 'chat' as needs be. Ritual conversation tends to be more esoteric and mystical, something to think about. I also get the chance occasionally to speak directly to the Gods embodied in their priesthood, through invocatory ritual possession. Those conversations are always...interesting.

Sometimes it is during my morning meditation especially when I need that extra comfort from life's chaoticness. Mainly it is through prayer to help me focus through out the day.

Prayer, signs.... I had a dream about a church with a priestess of Luna teaching me once. Another time, I found a mandala necklace guarded by a little jumping spider. I didn't grab it at first because spiders terrify me. I admire from afar. When my boyfriend went to look for it, he couldn't find it. I was able to find it again and the spider was gone. Sometimes, I just talk. Or whisper. I'm certain that I'm heard. :3

I tend to speak in a quiet voice, though I feel the conversations are always awkward and one-sided because I usually fumble over my words in an attempt to not say anything stupid, but I usually end up sounding silly anyway. I'd prefer to be the one listening to be honest with you.

While I speak to them (both verbally and mentally) in the usual sort of way, their communication with me is generally of the more subtle variety. Little, day to day things, and hints and nudges. I'm not they type to "hear" them clearly and consistently or have running conversations like you sometimes see. Sometimes I don't figure out they were "taking" much less what they were saying until much later, though I occasionally get something clear and insistent. And like Morg, I sometimes get the opportunity to speak with them directly though ritual possession. It's a hell of a thing.
