1. Read all the rules before applying.
2. Follow Gaia TOS. This means keep it PG-13. Anything that escalates further than that "fade to black" and fast forward accordingly.
3. We don't ask for much, but this is a place for mostly Literate RPs. That means...
xxx-Typing a decent sized post (10+ sentences) and spell checking it before posting is common courtesy.
xxx-NO ONE LINERS! You will receive ONE warning. If the problem persists then maybe Lit RPs are not for you.
xxx-No LEET, chat-speak or *action* posts.
4. No Godmoding! Rumple will hurt you! You get ONE warning.
5. Be polite. If there is a problem please don't let it escalate out of control or you will be asked to leave.
Anyone is welcome to start their own mini-RP within the RP Arena however, if you wish to join the Guild's Official "Tales of Storybrooke" Roleplay Chapters, then please keep the following in mind:
1. Two Main Characters max. It simplifies things and doesn't tie up the thread because we're all waiting on one person to post. You are allowed as many Minor and Original Characters as you're able to handle.
2. If you'd like to reserve a character just PM myself, Sunraiser or one of the other Moderators. Characters will be held on reserve no longer than TWO weeks. After that, they're fair game. That being said, by posting you're letting everyone know you're ready to be spoken to. Don't be rude and leave for a month after your first post.
3. Add a ✔ at the bottom of your application to notify the Mods you have read the Rules.
4. Post regularly. If you're going to be gone for more than a week please let us know, we can shuffle your character aside for the time that you're gone.
5. Create a thread for your profile in the "Glossary - Characters of Storybrooke" Sub-Forum, templates can be found [HERE]. Title the "Fairy Tale Character ~ Name".
Example: Snow White ~ Mary Margaret Blanchard
6. Original Characters will be limited to Fairy Tale Characters or with otherwise Legendary background. OC's with no Fairy Tale background like a random princess or knight will not be allowed. If you must create an OC at the very least sabotage a known fairy tale character and apply your stats/history to them.
Example:
Ariel, Pied Piper, Polar Bear King, Gingerbread Man, Oberon, Snow Queen...YES!
Random Sorceress-who-was-trained-by-Rumple-and-had-an-affair-with-him-before-he-met-Belle-and-now-still-loves-him ...uh, no.
