BAMwent off a row of cannon-fire like pyro as Overture 1812 played over the loudspeakers. In came the explosive superstar Boom from the smoke left behind. Boom beat his chest and raised his arms enthusiastically as the crowd cheered. making his way to the ring from Death Valley, The Man Called... BOOM! Boom slapped his gas mask covered head repeatedly as he roared and hollered. He ran over to the ring steps and moved up them, launching himself over the top rope and climbing the corner. He slapped his chest, chanting "BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM..." as the crowd chanted with him.

Oh oh oh oh~ Oh oh oh oh!~ "Arriving at ringside after finishing the last bit of choreography with the crew, they circled and covered Sakamoto who stood tall in the center of it all. And in a quick fluid motion, the dancers left, removing the microphone pack alongside his tearaway entrance attire, leaving him in his wrestling attire, ready to go. He paused for a second and smirked, taking in the ovation. Honestly he was just glad to be within a controlled climate once again after that grueling battle with Alastor at Winter Warfare. Although he came up slightly short of the victory, it was thankfully remembered as one of the most technical matchups of the event. With that behind him, he could at least now focus on furthering himself in this tournament, looking to eliminate the Man Called Boom and get one step closer to fully fleshing out his return to the ring.
Heading up the steps, Ryuu ducked into the ring and looked across at his opponent for the night. Only one man was going to be advancing further into this tournament, and Sakamoto had made it a point to not just advance, but win. Winning would only further cement his legacy and place an affirmative "!" to his already successful return to the ring. Bouncing a bit on his corner, he rolled his arms and shoulders out some. Grabbing onto the top rope, he leaned back and pulled on it a few times just to get the feel for their elasticity, waiting for that bell to ring ..

Boom stared at the display silently. Then, as if in challenge he shouted.
"BOOM!"
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
the crowd went wild with the chant as the bell rang.

Ryuu's first reaction was to arch his brow as he watched the crowd turn nuts for the word 'Boom'. Scratching the side of his head, he shrugged and merely stepped forward, rolling an arm forward a few times to loosen it up. Looks like he wasn't going to make any friends after this matchup was done. Circling up with Boom, Ryuu lowered his stance just a bit before moving in, attempting to initiate the collar and elbow tie-up with the opposition!

Boom respected this. A man initiating lockup with a man Boom's size? This was new. Boom accepted the collar and elbow tie up, attempting to shift into a headlock on ryuu.

Seemed to be his luck being paired up with big guys in this tournament. But since he was able to dispatch Adormis from the tournament, dealing with bigger men wasn't going to be something too new. The only X-Factor was seeing how quickly he could adapt to Boom's style specifically. Boom easily seized that headlock as Ryuu winced, placing a hand against that arm that was trapping him in place. Digging his feet into the canvas, his first thought was to try and fire a few elbow shots aimed for the man's liver to see if he could loosen that hold.

Boom grunted as the elbows lodged into his side. Partially releasing the hold, Boom attempted to transition the hold into a russian leg sweep.

Just when Ryuu found a way out of the commanding hold, Boom's transition put him down onto the canvas abruptly to reset the action in favor of the big man. Gripping onto the back of his head with a grimace, Sakamoto turned over slowly onto all fours, looking to return to his feet ..

Boom sat up and rose to his feet, looking over at Sakamoto. This tournament was big, and Boom had plans to fulfill. He attempted to wrap his arms around Ryuu's waist and deadlift him up for a gutwrench suplex.

Before Ryuu could really establish his vertical base once again, Boom had followed up and hefted him right up off the canvas! Crashing onto his back with a heavy thud, Ryuu coughed a few times, blinking up at the lights once or twice. So far, aside from the pain that was racking his body, part of him was impressed that this opponent had enough smarts to continue his momentum!

Boom had one more big move ready. As he has done before, he moved into position and reached to grab Ryuu by the waist and collar and deadlift him up to his chest, ready to bring him down with a deadlift backbreaker.

Ryuu's eyes went wide as he was surprised to be deadlifted right off the canvas. With a little bit of momentum in that direction though, Ryuu looked to slip backward over Boom's shoulders to land behind the man. If successful, he'd immediately look to drop and drive his shoulder into the back of the man's knee with a quick chop block!

Boom was surprised when the opponent he had deadlifted off the canvas was now behind him, his knee being bent forward. The bigger man stumbled forward.
