THE WORLD IS AFTER ME!"Introducing first, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 225 pounds, the Crimson City champion, Cyrus Leone!"  The music suddenly paused briefly as flames burst on stage. After a moment, the flames parted and the man, the champion, the Untamed Lion, stepped through and out onto the ramp. Feel like I'm caught in the ocean,
there's always someone to help me down.
The twisted tangled emotions,
there's always someone to help me drown.With his signature barbed wire chair in hand and his newly won Crimson City championship around his waist, Cyrus made his way down to the ring. The Lion wasted no time as he quickly made his way down the ramp, a piercing gaze forward at the ring. As soon as he made it to the ring, he suddenly jumped onto the apron and slipped into the ring through the top and middle ropes. Cyrus walked over to the ropes ahead of him, set a boot on the bottom rope, and leaned forward as he held his chair high in the air.THE WHOLE WORLD IS AF-TER.. MEEEEEEE!Cyrus hopped off the ropes when his music finally burned out and set his chair in his corner. He pulled the buttons open on his belt and set the championship on his shoulder. The Lion looked out and awaited his opponent, the Copperhead, Salem Croft.

[This is a placeholder entrance, I'll put something up after the pre-match promo Cyrus and I are working on is complete. In the meantime, no reason we can't just continue the match in the meantime. Presume I'm in the ring in typical fashion, bag in the corner and title at the timekeeper's table.]

Finally handing his belt off to the ref, the Crimson City champion would step up to the Copperhead before the match could start. Getting in the face of the BBW champion, Cyrus raised his heavily dented, barbed wire steel chair in the air. "Your blood will be on here tonight Salem."

Salem smirked as Cyrus chested up, carving out a threat while brandishing his modified chair. But Salem didn't shy from the attitude aimed at him. In fact, he reveled in it. Salem had been the one to set Cyrus on this path following their storied rivalry in WWFG, after he pushed his former mentor to the breaking point. While "The Lion" had indeed sharpened his fangs and claws since their last encounter, Salem had evolved into an even deadlier predator. Shed his skin and become a confident, savage champion in the process. The Copperhead had already slain a Dragon. Tonight, the BBW World Champion felt no different.
"Step on me, Lion, and I'll put one helluva thorn in your paw." Salem replied with a grin, reaching out to offer bumping knuckles with his fellow flagbearer. "The most lethal snake in the world is the one about to bite you."

Leone paused as Salem held up his fist. Looking out to both sides of the audience, Cyrus nodded before finally bumping knuckles with his former student and up a few steps with a smirk. "Tonight the snake is going to get crushed within the jaws of the Lion!"

While Cyrus backed up towards the other side of the ring, Salem mused to himself silently about how confident the reigning Crimson City Champion was, tonight. The Copperhead was glad to see his former teacher so excited, because Cyrus would need all the energy he could muster to run the ropes with BBW's most dangerous man. Crouching with his hands on his knees, Salem simply smirked and nodded, standing with the immovable presence of a sumo wrestler as he waited for Cyrus to bring it on at the start of the bell.

With the sound of the bell, Cyrus rushed at Salem with his chair up, as if about to strike. Instead, however, the Lion would suddenly lift his knee, looking to knock Salem to the ground with a running kitchen sink.

Salem wasted no time once Cyrus made his advance, opening his guard by raising the chair up high. Not waiting for his former mentor to close the gap between them with the knee, "The Copperhead" took to the air with a leaping dropkick once his opponent drew near enough, looking to avoid the knee and chair both by stomping the front of Cyrus' chest!

Salem had the best solution by avoiding Cyrus fake attack all together. The Lion was knocked to the ground by the Copperhead's drop kick, his chair sent flying from his hands!

The crowd let out a burst of cheers at the quick dropkick that brought Cyrus down, Salem landing on his side before immediately slithering to his hands and knees, staring wide-eyed over at his fellow champion with an unbridled focus in his gaze. Scrambling forward in a kind of bear crawl, Salem tried to snatch one of Cyrus' legs before standing to wrench in an ankle lock from center canvas!

Cyrus' leg was suddenly pulled back and his ankle pulled into the ankle lock. The Lion wasn't about to have his ankle targeted by his student. He rolled inward, looking to throw Salem forward, and off his ankle.

Heh. Cyrus thought he'd whip his hips about and send Salem off target, but the world champion had other plans. Instead, as "The Lion" tried shifting momentum off him, "Copperhead" Croft would step and twist with the forward motion - seeking to instead transition the ankle lock into a single-leg Crab!

s**t! Out of one submission and into another. It was pointless to crawl towards the ropes since there were no rope breaks, Cyrus would just have to power out of it. Planting both palms on the canvas, the Lion looked to lift himself off the ground in a push-up and push off his free leg to lunge out of the hold.

The crowd watched and clapped while Cyrus showed his veteran strength by lifting himself up and lunging forward on his stomach to break the world champion's grip, but Salem wasn't letting up! No sooner had his hands slipped off The Lion's ankle would he turn around and look to drop a vicious double axehandle down onto Cyrus' spine!
