Crow awoke with blurry, swirling vision and a numbness in his arm. He closed his eyes again and waited for a few moments, wishing that his body would simply come to full consciousness. He'd been doing it for several minutes now and was beginning to get frustrated. Finally he decided to give it up and rose from the creaking mattress and headed to the stairs. Holding on to the bar tightly he proceeded with heavy footsteps down the flight, he was hungry and felt like eating something hot, which he lacked the cooking skills to prepare. When he reached the door and opened it slowly he heard a crack of thunder, he smiled thinking of how it was the most light the area would see in awhile. In a slow dragging pace he walked right past his motorcycle, deciding that it would be best not to drive in this state.

Notus had left his house a few minutes ago and was now walking down the road. The rain had stopped but there were still faint sounds of drippings here and there. Water filled the cracks and potholes making little puddles, which lined the unmantenced road. Few if any people were in the streets, the ones who were out, were proabaly thugs or people making "deals".

Ain gripped onto Crow's jacket as they collided, causing them to spin around in an attempt to keep from falling. Once balanced, Ain shook his head and pounded on the sides of it with his palms while Crow talked. "Ach! Don't be so suspicious!" He said in his shrill voice. In a lightning fast motion he caught Crow in a headlock while he was messing with his jacket. "I jus' left right before ya, what're you up for so early anyways?" He inquired, giving Crow a noogie as persuasion for an answer. However he stopped quickly as a rumble sounded from his stomach. He promptly released Crow and looked behind him. "Ei! I'm starved, let's get some chow!" He spouted with a wide grin.

Notus continued to walk down the dilapidated road, he heard the roaring of a engine off in the distance. The rumbling in his stomach confirmed his desire for food. He hadn't walked around much since he moved here, so he really wasn't sure where to grab a bite to eat. His nose did seem to be pulling him along though, the smell of Lo Mien was playing with his growing hunger. He walked for what seemed like hours, but as he looked at his watch only mimutes passed. Food has a way of playing trick on you like that. He sat down on the bench of a little food stand, and asked for the desired provisions.

Crow smirked and met his gaze with equal challenge. "Oh, I'd love to, that is if you still enjoy a good round" Crow suddenly broke face and leaned back with a chuckle. "Yeah, it's almost time for it to open anyways" He said looking to the darkening clouds in the window. Their food arrived soon afterwards and Crow began eating the small loaf of bread that had come with his meal almost the second it hit the table. "Heheh, wanna get there soon right? Otherwise the action might die down before we get there"

Crow stood up following Ain's forceful grip, lunging for one last piece of bread before he was pulled away. After being walked backwards out of the restaraunt Crow turned around and lunged at Ain's waist with his arms reversed, then hugged his them around him and lifted the topheavy soldier over his shoulder. "Hahahahaha! Yeah Ain! Let's get going!" He laughed heartily as he began to run down the street with his friend still hanging overhead.
