TG was sitting in what would be considered a normal, high-backed, crimson seat (oversized for his small frame) and nearly blended in with his red complexion. Nestled on either side and back with large, embroidered cushions, he was leaning back and surfing the Web on his phone, reading the news, and checking ghouls on Hot or Rot.

Since it was hard for him to walk any distance without taking forever with his small legs and being tired, and because his Cycorgi was exhausted today from taking him to class, he liked to get out by taking the many, large steps down to the common rooms. He even made a small fire to keep him warm, and he picked the crimson chair since it was closest to it.

Tail laying over his lap, he didn't pay anyone any mind as he regarded the busty ghouls on his phone and rated them with 1-5 flames or not. His face was animated between sly little smiles of pleasure to quickly switching to those of disgust at some of the other ghouls that passed on his screen.

Sammy on the other hand was walking everywhere. Room inspections where just completed and of course half the requests and notices she left where ignored or blatantly rejected in her face. Racism was still a thing indeed when it came to trying to do her job.

Pausing with a large notebook open in her arms purple flames flickered over easily picking out the small forms shape in the middle of the chair. "You haven't completed your room inspection." She stated flatly, "You've avoided it three times now."

TG stopped flicking his finger on his phone for just a moment, and that was to glance up at Sammy and then, looked back down.

"I really would like to get my room inspected, but I have this policy that I don't let undeads who aren't doing chores in there." He flicked his finger over the small screen of his eyephone. "How am I to know if you are even housebroken? The carpets are brand new." He flicked his finger again.

"I'd be more than willing to comply, but only if it were a demon. I ....suppose I could let you in.." He smiled as he looked at his screen. "If you were a maid. - ugh. Ugo." He said at the phone as he tapped his screen, rating another ghoul.

He raised his hand and gestured for her to leave. "You should just hand over your badge to a qualified demon than play make believer. It's flattering but in the end you are really bringing down the value of this dorm. You're not even suited for the most basic duties."

The ghoul continued to flip through her book stopping here and there to mark down rooms that had passed, failed, or otherwise obstructed the process. The other RA's weren't having this much trouble but that seemed to be how things worked. Sammy would always get the short end of the stick simply because half the dorm hated her.

"None of you picked up the position originally. A bit above your post? Or you're all just too damn lazy judging by your constant whining need for a maid to do everything for you."

Snapping the book shut she turned to face the demon fully eyes flickering as she narrowed her focus on him fully. "You can let me in, or I can fail you and the faculty can become involved. Your choice. The day I'm a maid to you is the day I rip your core out your chest and crush it before your eyes."

He glanced up only when he noticed a purple light reflecting on his eyephone screen and jerked back into his cushions as he looked at her. "Ugh! Put that away will you." He said, cringing as he took a cushion and held it up between him and her.

"I'm not letting someone better suited for a maintenance ghoul come into my room. It's a palace and the only ghouls I let in there are hot ones. I can't let you go in there and having one of your nasty hands drop off and ruin my things."

He set the cushion on his lap and placed his hands on top, looking at her. "And we're not lazy. You just don't understand a thing about demons. It's why you suck at your job. Your over your head and pretending you know even a cent about the rest of us. You don't." He smiled at her.

"Go back into the dirt where you belong."

The ghoul continued to watch him, her purple eyes burning brighter just to spite him as he complained about their glow over his phone. Better her eyes then her fist for his sake.

"Sorry, I didn't take any engineering classes, left that up to folks who enjoy tinkering more then me. I'm more likely to break it then fix it with my methods," there was a faint popping sound as cracked the knuckles in her bone fist flexing them in the air.

Turning back to the desk near by she removed a sheet of paper from her note book. A click of a pen and she started to scribble across the paper before turning around to face the demon again.

"You think you know more about undead then I do demons?" She held the paper level to his face so he could read. "You want a maid so Jack-damn bad, this is a contract. Granted it needs a demon to complete it. You get three questions about demons, I get three questions about undead. You get more right then me, I'm a maid. One week."

She raised the contract up to see the second clause, "I get more right however, and you're going to be my groveling little minion for a week instead."

He watched as she held out the paper, and his eyes went wide, causing him to lower his phone to look at the contract. A legit contract! He hadn't been able to even make on as he had been too young, and his fathers were animate that he didn't get himself in any messes. They did test him on contracts and how to phrase them, as trickery was in his family's bloodline, but he never got to mark anyone.

Tail up and excited, he stood up and dropped the cushion to his side, "You are so ON!" He snatched the paper from her hands, giddy despite who he was in front of. "I'm going to make you the shortest uniform and make you clean Annabel's pen." He said, giddy at his own visualized victory.

Taking a monogrammed pen from his pocket he filled out the rest, and then held it out. "Conditions. No calling anyone up or looking up the answers. Not on the Web or in a book or anything like that. And when you become a servant, you have to do whatever they say." That way, by the end of the week, he could see if he could force her to quit her job. It would be the icing on the cake!

He held his small, clawed hand out to seal the terms of the written contract. "I hope you like lace." He said, already picturing her in something black and white. Maybe he could order her to go get herself a bigger rack from somewhere.

Sammy already had one mark, but it was a wedding contract, one she was rather fond of since she found Thack to be painfully adorable and sweet for a demon dog. Plus it was the closest thing she had to truly marrying Siddie right now.

She watched carefully as he snapped out his pen. Making sure he didn't slip extra wording into the contract, shockingly enough he didn't. Though he added a very verbal regards that Sammy added in carefully herself. Signing her name she shook the small imps hand with her own a wicked grin playing across her face.

"So then. I'll start. You seem to think you know a lot about Undead, tell me what are three major ways we come into existence that don't include a pumpkin."

TG grinned as he plopped back down to sit, taking the cushion he set aside and placing it on his side to snuggle his back into the plush cushions and lean back, nearly submerged in the pillows as he looked up at her. This was going to be a cakewalk.

"Easy. You pop up from the dirt like rot weeds." He said, lifting up a finger. "Two, you show up at a orphanage. And three," He said, lifting up a third claw. "You show up when a lot of body parts get together. Like body part garbage that just makes a person."

"My turn." Since she was going by threes, he would do the same. "Name three species of demons."
PostPosted: Thu Jul 03, 2014 9:05 pm

Sammy shook her head slowly as he sank into the chair, "You get like, one point for giving two half assed answers and one that's just plain wrong. Popping up from the dirt? That's called being "Risen" when a Reaper or Demon shoves souls into a body and makes it into an Undead, Orphanage? Anyone comes from there if they're abandoned. Parts clumping together? No. You need again, a Reaper, Demon, Monster, or another Undead to do the work intentionally." She shook her head, "And the most obvious one you missed is Humans who don't want to pass on and become Ghosts."

Crossing her arms she rolled her eyes. "Avarice Demons alone make up plenty. Break them down into Pride, Greed, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth." She waved a hand, "Fallen Angels, never Angels but the fear of falling from grace manifested as a demon." She pointed at TG, "Flame Demon, or an Imp, take your pick. Ifirits is another name for demons related to fire." Crossing the room she tossed her note book onto a table before taking a seat, "Cerberus and Kitsune, Raum like the s**t bag whos room I own. Succubus, Mindflayer. Is that enough for you?"

She snapped her bone fingers, "Next question. Since you like Hierarchy so much. What are the five common undead subclasses, and which is the highest ranked."

TG gritted his sharp teeth at her. "That is too 3 answers! Putting parts together is basically the same thing. You just heap them together and they make something like you." He said, not wanting to have points docked just because he wasn't specific. Undeads weren't complicated. He didn't need exact details, right? They were all just pieces together, so who cared how they were started one way or another?

He should have said something about demons helping to make servants though. Jack-it.

At the list of her own, he glared at her. "That is cheating! You only know that because of the stupid rooms you have to visit. I gave you those points." He pointed out, crossing his arms and huffing at not thinking of a tougher question for someone who spent too much time in the dorms. Even if she didn't belong here, she still passed by demons and had a dorm list that probably gave some reference to species.

His heart-ended tail flicked in agitation.

"Fine." He huffed. "There are Vampires. Those are the best ones." Clearly, because demons only held the old vampires in high regard. They were the only ones worth caring about, and TG knew some were his father's clients. They were almost like demons in their ways, their mannerisms, and had that old-age class that demons respected.

"Then there are.." He tried to think. Most undeads had been commonplace workers in the lower quarters of his families home, and even then, there were strict regulations on which ones they even associated with. His fathers liked having cheap labor or labor that didn't need paid at all, but TG was often kept to his room, his tutors, or other areas befitting an impressional young demon. He rarely even looked at the undead round him, and they all looked the same. Lumpy, discolored in places, and quiet. Most either didn't speak or said one or two words - or grunts. They were so low on TG's radar that they were either invisible or a blur of a sort of gray entity that just served as help.

"...the patchy ones." What was the detailed name? "Igors.sss?" He hazarded. Okay that was two. He needed three more. How were there 5 types?! They were all just parts!

She looked to Sammy who had cheated by looking at him. "Zombies." He added.

Two more.

...

He was drawing a blank.

Oh no. He had to think of two more.

He looked up at the ceiling thinking, and his eyes narrowed as he tried to think harder.

"The lumpy gray ones?" He hazarded, hoping he at least got closer to five with vague descriptors.

The ghoul chuckled, "Not really. You where wrong. Stuff just doesn't lump together. It takes fear and someone above helping." She waved a hand, "You don't know Jack about Undead face it. You're going to be my minion."

When he called foul she only laughed harder, "Oh no, I've known most of these demons before even moving into this dorm. I've delt with demons plenty long enough and I'm not completely ignorant." She reached into a bag tugging out another book dropping it on the table, it was a Demon's Studies book, she'd been taking classes and TG was slowly going to be informed just how bad of a bet he made.

"Fine, Vampires are on the list, you're right in calling them the 'best ones' however," she said this with air quotes, "You're still forgetting two major ones, Skeletons and Mummies, Igors are a specific sub spiecies of the common class patchwork. The ones made out of the parts?" She shifted her jacket letting it slide down a bit, her wife beater revealing no scar lines, "And please stop calling me a patch work already, your an idiot."

"So. Care to keep trying or would you like to save some humiliation and just agree I've got you beat now?"

TG looked at the book and then wanted to call THAT cheating, but he would have noticed her pulling out a massive tome in front of him to check answers. It was like she prepared for -

JACK! She totally started the contract with these terms. She set him up!! He wanted to stand up, point at her, and shout that she had set him up to fail, but that would strike hard at his pride. It would mean that a undead, of all things, had tricked a demon whose legacy was build on tricks. It would mean that he had signed himself to a contract without thinking of ulterior motives, a basic for most demons to consider when making contracts. It would mean that even with these conditions, he was somehow more stupid, despite his tutors and education, than a undead.

That was something he would not admit, and so as much as he hated it, he kept his mouth shut on the matter.

He was stuck in the terms he agreed to, and he had to see if he could possibly win.

"As if!" He shouted, standing up and pointing at her.

"Alright, I was easy on you with that last one. So here you go. Why do demons bind with witches and warlocks and what is a way witches can summon us?" She wanted to add additional to her questions so he would do the same.

She had to loose. He didn't know what to ask that wasn't already in that dumb book. What hadn't she studied? What had she crammed for? What did she gloss over? Surely a undead wouldn't be able to memorize too much. Just simple things - tops!

Despite this, he felt his heart hammering.

I should have used invisible heat ink to make a Escape clause. JACK IT ALL!

The grin on Sammy's face was far from friendly, it was practically venom, she had him trapped and she knew his pride wouldn't let him admit she had tricked him, he was bound to lose to the contract he eagerly signed because he figured 'she's undead what can she do' well that was the lovely thing about Sammy, she wasn't as stupid as she sometimes came across to be.

"Then continue."

Smirking she responded with the answer, "Some demons bond with Witches and Warlocks, a sub species of reapers who practice the arcane. These bondings typically result in a boost of power for both parties, this can be a normal demon and reaper pairing, or it can be a more commonly practice 'familiar'. The powers granted are usually a combination of each partners specialty. As for summoning if not bound, they can summon by the use of a full name except in cases of demons with exceptionally large amounts or great control of fear in which case they can deny the call. Familiars on the other hand can be summoned by a mere thought due to the altered nature of their binding."

Again the wicked grin, the book sitting between them entirely un-opened.

"So. Is that good enough? Last question, lets see if you can even come close to right though at this point it doesn't matter. There is one other way an Undead can be created. One that doesn't involve a pumpkin, or being made out of parts. It's kind of a secret, and it's not a pretty one either... what is it?"

He had lost. He knew it. He didn't need to be a banker's son to read the numbers and know he had lost. Even if he got the answer right, he lost. Sammy had come into the game already with the advantage, and he had been so eager for his first contract that he hadn't even thought she would make the conditions favor her.

The last question was for show, and he didn't know it. He hadn't known any of the questions because he didn't associate with undead, unlike Sammy who was an undead and also associated with demons despite not belong to them. Worst of all, he couldn't even be glad and tell his fathers he made a contract and won a bet, because he made a contract to an undead and lost. It would not only get him scolded, but it would make his fathers displeased at him. The very idea made him cringe.

At her question, he could only glare at her, claws balled into tiny fists as his tail flicked back and forth behind him, a small bit of smoke pouring out of each large, pointy ear. "The garbage!" He shouted, not knowing the answer and just wanting to insult her now. He hated this undead, and he wished she wasn't undead so she could drop dead!

With his "answer," he grabbed a cushion and threw it at her stupid, granny face. In seconds, he had puffed out of his chair and was on the ground, storming out of the common room and hellbent on escaping to his room. He didn't want to see her. He wanted her to rot in a trash can somewhere until some werewolves tore her apart.

Sammy however, would find a burning sensation on her skin upon which a mark, in the shape of a heart with a curled, spade tail, would be seen.

She had won.
