Homicide Party put two fingers behind his mask and began to rub his temple, his patience with the man pleading before him was wearing quite thin. He raised his head again, setting it upon an open hand that rested on his throne, and continued to hear out the man.
"I can't go on with this lifestyle! I'm not suited for the work that I've been given" The man in the center of the spacious hall pleaded. "I swear to God if you let me into the upper class I will prove indisposable! I can-"
Homicide Party, now gripping the purple velvet arms of his seat, held a finger towards the man, rendering him dead silent. "God? Are you so blind that you actually believe that there is anyone watching over you in a place like this? I am as close to God as you'll find here, and I say you are disposable" With a pause, he relaxed his grip on the arms and leaned back. "You can't go on with this lifestyle? Then don't!" He yelled in a tone of mockery. Then with a snap of Homicide's fingers the once silent man began to stumble back, screaming with a gurgle of his own blood. Then after only a few seconds of this his head turned completely around on his shoulders with a satisfying snap. After the man fell to the ground Homicide Party adjusted in his seat. "Get this mess cleaned up..." With that several beings in black cloaks rushed in and retrieved the body while one stayed to remove the blood.

"Oh, my....I guess someone had a rather unfortunate morning," came a voice sweet and low. From the entrance to the throne room, stood a tall woman from appearance with some vixen features. She grinned, her senses entangling themselves with blood. "In other words, good morning to you, Master. Would you like for me to play for you," she asked, walking over to the reigning madman with her ears tilted. The tiles she walked over made a -taktaktaktak- noise as she moved closer to him, avoiding the dark, enigmatic figures. Her attire was noting extravagant. Just a simple, long dress with a sash. Contrary to popular belief, she was blind as well. But, ah! She was a kitsune; it would only be a dent.

A pillar of ebony flame erupted to the left of Homicide Party's throne. When the flames died down Testament was revealed in their wake. He stood silent for a moment as he allowed his senses to re-adjust to the room. When he sensed the presense of Sonar in the room he turned to her and nodded a welcome, then noticed the smell of blood. He sighed ever so slightly and shook his head with the knowledge that another had unknowingly crossed his master. After a bit more silence Testament's figure disappeared in a smaller spout of flame and re-emerged, leaning against a pillar that rested to the left and behind the throne. "Sonar, I met another with our 'disability'. He was a beggar of the streets..." He stopped and lifted his banded eyes to the pitch black ceiling. "...how did we end up here?"

"Charmed to meet you," Sonar said, looking up at the figure, her grin extending over to him. "I trust this wasn't of force..." Her tail swished inquisitively, then turned to Homicide Party. "Master, you look stressed. Would you like for me to play for you," she repeated, tilting an ear innocently.

Homicide Party's mind swam in thought as the two entered the room. With the repetition of Sonar's question he was jerked from the ideas that were driving him into a spell of madness. He turned to Sonar, letting the words she had spoken roll over in his mind once more. "Ah, yes, that would be wonderful, if you would." He said appreciatively. He turned to another energy in the room, another he was so used to. "Ah, Testament, out for another pity stroll? You know the only thing that seperates us from them is our ideals, our knowledge. You must forgive the fact that I have suspicions that you should belong with them." He said with a matter-of-fact tone, then relaxed in his seat again to listen to a tune.

"No problem," she replied, procuring her flute joints. She assembled them within a swift ammount of time, then put the mouthpiece to her lips. What came out the end was a story told by sound alone, no words, no back-up singers, but the pure sound of a woodwind instrument. It told of a time so long ago. Alleyways were packed with snow, and yet that time was seen as a great highlight........ Given her four minutes, her song was done. She bowed, her hair cascading to the ground when she did before she rose. "Does that help you, sir?"

As he listened to the melody Homicide Party's muscles relaxed, his thoughts became calm, and as the music cleansed his mind of worry he began to sense an activity. There was nothing but the sweet music in the room, and Testament was there with him. He waited until the music ended, then nodded to Sonar, acknowledging her question. He allowed his mind to drift into Negative Zero's, who currently resided in the ruins where he observed the newcome battle arena. Homicide felt and shared his resentment for the one he watched, but nonetheless sent a sharp warning to the ear of his mind. "Do not attempt it! We have plans, do not break them for your personal issues. All will be as we wish soon enough." Homicide Party then turned to Sonar once again. "I hate to ask of you another favor so soon, but would you go to the city ruins and keep an eye on Zero and the warriors there for me." He said rising from his throne and pacing over to the large doorway behind it. "I must meditate on something..."

"Sir, t'is not a problem for me." With that, she turned and headed back where the entrance was with the flick of her tail. Negative Zero might jump the gun, which would be be bad for business. Not that she minded playing for anyone, but she'd have to spend more days in the hospital.....a dread place for her. Her feet took her to the elevator, and her fingers pushed the dials to send her on her assigned destination.

Her very own childish, intimidating presence became known as she walked through the entrance doors. Her head lifted to the nearby humans, snorting. "Take care of this in the kitchen. I am hungry. Have it prepared by the middle of night..." Her mind focused, then, on her new mission. Her dress glided into the elevator, then, slowly, slowly....the rising capsule had gone to the very tip. It spat her out gracefully, as though it even acknowledged her. She made her way through the senseless humdrum, not really caring to listen to the servant's arguements for the present time. Long, protruding fingers pushed open the door to Homicide Party's throne room, exposing her curious expression. "Master, please forgive my troubling you. I have been summoned to bring you to the Evernight Ruins. Negative Zero said that he needs you for something important." She bowed in the same manner as before, remebering to show her that even he had soverignty over her.

Homicide Party already had his eyes on her as Sonar entered the spaceous room, he'd felt her coming. He waited patiently as she spoke, allowing himself to ponder the possible causes of this event, then replied. His voice was a smooth, beatiful, and almost seductive tone. Yet it was always overtoned by a second voice, a mechanical growl of some creature beyond the devil himself. "No, you are not troubling me, in fact I find this quite intreguing. I see only one possible reason for this. For the moment Testament is out, I'll visit the mercenary company for another escort, I can't dirty my hands with scum. You may do as you like until the tournament ends, when that does happen I wish you to bring them here for... a celebration of their victory." He said with a hint of sarcasm. "That would be all, I thank you Sonar."

"Haan(*)...what kind of deathtrap do you have in store for them now," the muse inquired, an ear tilting curiously. Throughout those years of service, and as far as she knew, he'd only rewarded such strength that posed even a minimal threat with a swift and agonizing death.
