You’ve been enjoying the awe-inspiring acrobats, the side-splitting funny clowns and the food. Oh the food, the food, so much food! Licking your lips in anticipation of ‘more’ food, you find yourself in front of a rainbow colored tent. A weathered wooden arch frames the small entrance. There is no door or curtain covering the entry, but peering inside only reveals darkness. Over the portal hangs a sign with funny letters, reading FUNHOUSE. You’ve heard about funhouses and how they are huge structures and look outrageously garish. This one looks rather simple despite the many colors of fabric. And small compared to some of the other tents in the Cirque.

A minion of the Ringmaster lingers nearby, watching you. “Come on in”, he coos. “Give it a try.” He slides a little closer, “You could win a prize,” he promises sweetly. “Anything is possible in the Funhouse.” He nods towards the opening, “Go on,” he urges. “Give it a try,” he sweetly whispers in your ear. The survivor of the FUNHOUSE gets to take this little minion home. But don't tell him that. He thinks you're here to join the circus and stay with him.Quote: This CYOA is designed to allow everyone from different time zones to play along. You will have 24 to 48 hours to post a reply. How long you have will be posted with the new prompt. Each player will only respond to the prompt under their name. Have some fun and role play a response. We’re not judging responses, but we’d just like to see more than, “I choose B”.
When the new prompt is due, the results of your choices will be posted along with a new prompt with new choices. Please read carefully. Most prompts require you to roll a dice, but the dice might be different. If you use the wrong dice or forget to roll, do not edit or delete your post. Please just repost your response using the correct dice. Only respond to the prompt under your name.
Anyone may join in. When the second prompt is posted, no one else may join in.

Sagira wasn't certain about the strange-looking building. But the silken words of the smaller minion coaxed her into calm. With the whispered urging still fresh in her ears, she wandered forward.

Zaria was slightly curious of what was inside, her eyes looking over the bright colors as she approached. The voice of another made her turn. There was a chance of a prize, well that was rather interesting. Now she wanted to win this prize. "Just give it a try huh?" She asked before she moved a little closer.

Circus!!!! Segel was so excited, As soon as he had heard of the appearance of the circus he hadn't been able to stop himself, he just had to go see!!
He had bounced in and had a great time looking at everything, and eating far more food and sweets than anyone should in one go!
And then he had seen and heard the mini! Funhouse? that just sounded totally great!!!
Happily looking forward to the fun he skipped inside.

Alma tilted her head to one side as she looked the 'fun' house over. It seemed terribly..not fun. She side eyed the mini cooing and crooning away for anyone's attention, and huffed. It also didn't seem dangerous at all. Clapping her wings against her back, she walked towards the entrance, it wouldn't be but a few moments of her time.

Bastianna had wandered in without really realizing where she was. She jumped as the feathered wini whispered to her. "Oh....okay. I guess...." She normally wasn't startled by much, but she was becoming creeped out more and more as she went further into the Funhouse. She hoped there would be more light further on than what was in the dark entry.

The dark colored Wraik floated towards the tent, curiously. He was fascinated by he small, birdlike Mini Wini's... outfit? Feathers? He wasn't sure. When he coos, Melorion tilts his head, listening silently to the voice, and hovering softly. For a long moment, he seems undecided about entering this tent, his head turning as he studies it.
Finally, finally after much consideration, he floats to the entrance and through, with a final glance at the pretty min-wini.

A few games had been well enough to pass the time, but when the call to the strange tent had beckoned, the winged Wini had hesitated warily. He seemed drawn towards the strange tent, however, he paused when the mini grew too close with his whispers. He recoiled with a hiss, eyes narrowing. "Back up, shorty," he growled, calming once safely out of range. He grumbled, shaking his shoulders and rearranging his wings against his back as he looked to the tent. Yeah...he'd check it out...long as the little feathery one kept his distance.

Bravely walking into the dark opening, you bump into a wall. Feeling around, you find that the entry turns and goes in another direction. Continuing in this bump and feel method you follow the dark corridor until a solid wall turns into a soft fabric. Pushing through the floor length curtain, you find yourself surrounded by glass and mirrors.

An infinite number of you peer back at you. Most look exactly like you, some look a bit frightened, some look… trapped. That seems rather odd, but then, everything about this circus is odd.
A low entreating voice beckons you, “Come find me...” You hear a soft chuckle and then, ”…if you can.” The chuckling and entreating voice continue as you try to find your way through the maze of glass and mirrors.
As you continue to thread your way through the maze of light and reflections, the sudden absence of illumination brings you a halt. Unable to see as much as a paw in front of your face, you continue to bump and feel your way through the maze. The voice that was once encouraging now turns to maniacal laughter.
The laughter dies away. The stillness is disturbed by the sound of cracking. A dread comes over you, much like the feeling of someone standing on an ice-covered lake when they start to hear the ice cracking beneath their feet. But there is no ice around you. Only glass. Glass that, by the sound of the continued cracking, will soon be showering down upon you.

What do you do? Do you cower in hopes that the falling shards are small and not sharp blades of destruction? Do you make a run for it, hoping to find a way out before it’s too late?
Roll two 20 sided dice with your response.

The sound of cracking filled Sagira's ears and a sense of dread as well. She looked up at the cracking ceiling and fear gripped her, freezing her. Her limbs froze and she cowered, her body locked in a silent battle to decide what to do. As the shards began to free themselves, she curled up in a ball on the ground.

Segel had been having fun, at first he had been puzzeled by the mirror room. But then he had heard the voice, and had thought it was all meant to be a kind of hide and go seek game. Giddily skipping around the mirror she wasn't imidiately worried when the lights went off, just made the game more of a chalenge. ..... but then came the cracking sound... Segel tried to find out where it was coming from ..... it seemed to be getting louder... He ran, quickly trying to backtrack to the beginning of the mirror room

"Ow."
"Ow."
"...ow."
Getting really tired of walking into invisible walls, the winged Wini had started grumbling under his breath in between deadpan expressions of pain each time he bumped his head again.
That's when the cracking noises started.
Rahab froze, ears twitching in each direction as he realized the sounds were coming from all around him. Surrounded! The glass walls? He hesitated only a moment before closing his eyes tightly and spinning to run back the way he'd come. He couldn't see as dark as it was anyway, and besides...he didn't need to lose any MORE eyes, thanks.

The Mirror room was getting on her last nerve as she tried to keep track in which direction the voice had come from. She had her wings unfolded, the tips touching the sides of the hallway, giving her a good indication of any gaps she might accidentally walk by. A good system until she heard the cracking. Alma cried out as she cower under her wings, hopng the feathers would protect her

Zaria slipped into the hall of mirrors. She was fascinated by the tricks, those faces, the different emotions. Apparently she was in the hall of the great tricksters. It was almost like she was at home. She was at first calm, but also weary, if the mirrors had tricks, whoever was calling her likely was leading her into a trap.
The demoness looked around at the faces that starred at her in the mirrors when she heard that sound. She froze for a moment, fear racing through her. She could feel the heavy beat of her pulse drumming in her throat. She had to swallow to force her heart back down. She had no time to let fear take control of her. She was a trickster in training. Zaria started to make a run for it, banging into a few mirrors here and there in her escape. All she could do is hope she makes it out in time.
