AAAAAAA!

Just gonna make this thread short and sweet, no need to go into depth. Theatrhym Dragon Quest, aaaaaa! While I really enjoyed TFFCC, I wasn't too terribly familiar with XIII onwards, but Dragon Quest! I'll know every single piece, and will finally be able to do a dream team Alena/Hassan/DQIII Roto/Maribel! Take my money SE!
Furthermore, Theatrhythm's cartoony atmosphere fits the DQ series a million times better than the mostly serious FF series.

The official website says it's coming out in late March for Japan, to which I am not even going to wait for localization (if it happens) and directly import.

And of course, DQX for 3DS. Considering purchasing it?

And on a personal note, I'm going back to China again this summer, so I'll probably be scarce again starting May to mid June.

Yeah I heard about DQ Thearhythm very recently. I'm very interested in it myself. Hopefully a localization happens at some point in the future because I'd totally buy it! I've never played FF thearhythm since FF isn't really my thing...

As for DQ X for 3ds. That's neat that they're porting it over to the 3ds. I'll have to see on that... xp

Have fun going back to China again, Hassan!

Gameplay video is a go!

Good to see such a large cast, from the looks of it, there even might be generic NPC's playable?

I prefer the TFF's battle style more, where you see all the characters and their little animations, but I guess they were going for a more classic DQ style when they were thinking about the battle scenes. The field stages are cute though, with all characters visible and running as opposed to only one person running for the entire stage.

Hassan, confirmed as playable; hnng, hnng

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I don't like elite beat agents type games, so i avoided theatrhthym final fantasy. Dragon quest music is so good though gonk Mitsuda and Uematsu are my two musical gods. If they make a theatrhthym chrono trigger i will buy all three in an instant.

Speaking of which, I just got a notification for Theatrhythm FF DLC that Chrono Trigger songs are available for DLC, as is Bravely Default, and Romancing SaGa, to my sole excitement. Still recommend waiting for TDQ though, no point in getting a game that you're only getting it for a couple of songs, DLC even!

I'll just stick to chrono trigger DS for my chrono trigger music.
