But one day she decides to do something different. --- goes for a walk through the small forest that had nearly been wiped out by the vast city she now lived in. It's her first time actually seeing a forest. But as she ventures deeper, she gets lost, only to find Ithuriel and Jareki in mid fight. She screams and the two turn before they can finish each other off. The angel and demon come to realize she's the one they had come to find. But they aren't alone. There are warlocks and far more powerful demons after her. --- comes to learn that she was the first human to ever walk in all three worlds. Heaven, hell, and purgatory. Her soul is neither dark nor light, it is neutral. One day, God, Lucifer and Lilith came together and decided to plant the information of three instruments God's crown, Lucifers sword and Adam's rib, which was how Lilith came to be, into --- head. Ithuriel and Jareki decided to take ---- to heaven, hell and purgatory in hopes she's remember something. Will the myths about the instruments and ---- be true? Will they be able to spark ----'s memory and get her to find all three objects? Will Ithuriel and Jareki be able to pull together long enough to keep ---- Safe?

XXXXXXXX- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -"Don't get to close to me. I have darkness inside me." Ground crumbling under his feet as he slid in the dry dirt, dust clouding out around his leather boots. This was a real pain, finding an angel who was looking for the same thing you were was a total fracture in his mission. Lifting the jet black gun pistol in one hand the blue eyed demon rested it against the wrist of his other hand to hold it steady as he aimed on the angel focusing his gaze on him. Letting out a breath he bent his finger against the trigger blasting a shiny silver bullet with scripture written on it. It really was no use to use a firearm this far from an angel like him, each bullet one after the other would just be split right in half with every swing of his sword.
Gareki was looking for one thing, a female. A human girl who is said to have the ability to see the secrets of the three worlds, it is also said that this human girl is the only human to be able to visit each world. The search for her couldn't be easy, but he was never going to find her with this angel on his back. Watching the angel rush towards him with his thin long sword Gareki stepped back into a tree, his blue eyes cold as he watched the other male run at him. Placing his foot against the tree he was catapulted into the air as he leaped off the tree.
Stepping back a couple times he tried keeping his distance, but this anger was stronger then others he has fought before. Although the other male was strong Gareki did believe he was worthy of winning this match, if not he would fight tell he died. He wanted to find this girl, he needed too. Finding this girl meant he could open the door to hell and free all his demon brothers and sisters, but that wasn't what he wanted. Gareki wanted the reward that came with freeing all the demons, the crown of thrown. He would be the demon king, he would be to powerful for anyone to stop. Walking up to the male with the sword Gareki dodged every swing.
He quickly shuffled forward pulling his gun up to the mans face, right between his eyes is were the hole lay. But soon his sword was tight against his neck, pressing only the dark haired males pale skin, if Gareki even turned his finger he would be dead, but at the same time if he was quick enough he would be able to kill this angel in less then a minute. A cold draw, who was going to die, the angel? Him? Or both? - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†Ithuriel had been hunting around a forest near by a city that he'd heard rumours about. The city was claimed to have a human girl that could help him rid the world of both demons and the children of Lilith. When Ithuriel had first learned about the infernal devices, he didn't believe anyone who told him. But when he heard rumours of a girl living in a city who's soul was neutral, he had to find her and see for himself if it was true. Ithuriel had just about had enough when a demon appeared. He watching the evil creature take cover and shot at him.
With a slightly amused chuckle, Ithuriel simply unsheathed his sword and sliced the bullet clean in half, with no effort at all on his part. And so the demon began to shot servals rounds at the angel, which resulted in no damage. Ithuriel realized that the scriptures where engraved on the bullets as they connected with his sword and fell to the floor in two parts. He knew that if a bullet had landed, he'd be in a bit of trouble. Nothing was more pure in the world than the scriptures, therefore even angels could be harmed by their words.
Without hesitation, Ithuriel called upon the name of his blade "Raziel!" he said as he watched the blade shine with a pure blue glow. The glow of angel blades did nothing to harm demons, although it slightly blinded them, which would work to his advantage. Ithuriel headed straight for the demon. When the two were inches apart, he felt the cool metal of the gun pressed deeply into the skin on his forehead, right between his eyes. But he had his angel blade's tip directly at the demons mouth with a grin. It really was down to one final blow, him or the demon? He surely wasn't going to back down now, not until.
Hearing someone scream to his right, the angel's head took mere seconds to snap towards the sound. When his eyes came to the source of the sound, he tilted his head to the side. He observed a girl, her bottom lip quivering and her eyes wide with fear. But when Ithuriel took a deeper look, soul deep, he could see the girls soul. Neither light, nor dark... he thought to himself as he looked her over once more. This must be the one of legend he thought once more only to himself before he turned back to the demon.†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†

In my world two colors resound in meaning and precedence...She heard the distant rumbles of a train in her ear, the constant back and forth of pistons were not far. She felt a warmth beside her on both sides, almost as if they were vying for her. She found comfort in them both and never favored the other. The soft smell of damp rainwater against the glass window not far away made her smile and the voices of the two on each of her sides were comforting to say the least. Finally her eye's opened to the golden glow of a train car's light. Sitting beside her at her left was a male with the brightest white hair and a small purple mark on his cheek.
He represented a light in her heart, something that wanted to protect herself and others. On her right side was a darker haired male with the most unkempt hair she had seen in a while. Of course the white haired male had no room to brag when it came to hair either. The dark haired male to her right represented a rebellious side of her, something inside her that wanted to be set free from it's bounds. Together these two created a sheet of protection around her, a warmth that made her close her eyes again in faith...knowing that even if the world decided to come at her with it's full force...she would be just fine. Just then their shoulder's touched her own and she heard them speak...they seemed to be arguing. It was so strange, even if they disagreed about arbitrary things they always seemed to agree on something. Finally she felt their hands on her knees, respectively.
"This is a fallacy born from your own neutrality, you must never seek change. These phantoms do not exist, your world is the perfect balance and shouldn't be tainted..." An eerie voice flooded her ears and destroyed her peace. She opened her eyes to find both boys on each side slumped over, bloodied and bruised. She immediately felt the sting of fear and newborn tears assaulted her but she couldn't stand... She couldn't move... Was she dead too?
Her eyes fluttered open and a female customer was staring at her with a face of complete and utter rage. "I SAID~! I want a pack of cigarettes?!" She chimed angrily and finally a manager walked over with her cigarettes and shut the line down. Her name was Melinda. She was a cashier at the local supermarket and she had actually fallen asleep on the job...
What felt like moments later was actually a few bits of minutes as the subsequent events left her walking the long walk of shame back on home. "I must be working to hard anyway...I'm sure he only fired me to give me a few days of rest...yea..." She found herself not far from the residential district with a big picket fence beside her. On top of it's wooden spires was a small calico kitten with a small pendant hanging from his collar. He effortlessly bounded to follow her before jumping off into her arms.
She cradled the warm feline in her arms before continuing, her dress furling in every which way as she made her way home. She would have to talk to her landlord...he would not be amused by this day at all. She felt herself stopping, listening to the wind blow past the light wisps of brown hair that surrounded her face. She closed her eyes and allowed her bare arms to shine in the sun's embrace, her shadow not far behind. This was her life, a constant back and forth with no real chance of evolving...
Just then the kitten in her arms fled from her and took a racing start forward before turning a corner. "Paolo! Come back!" Soft she ran into a sprint her eyes never really seeing the cat coming back to her or even at all until she turned the corner. She saw him running through an alleyway and she stopped before treading into it's darkness. Her city was enthralled by structures and buildings and houses, only a small patch of forestry existed. It lay on the other side of this darkness. When she was a child she always feared the dark, she always wondered what things could be waiting for her in the places she couldn't see...
Her fingers trembled and her mind cleared, she thought nothing about the world and it's dangers in that very moment. Now she had to think about her cat Paolo. With her lithe fingers curling into balls she moved into the shadow until she found herself deep in the surrounding sounds and smells of a deep and decadent forest. She opened her eyes to see a bounty of beauty surrounding her. From butterflies to flowers, everything was gorgeous in it's own right and she felt almost unworthy to view their treasure. She heard the small sounds of bugs in the air and chitters of the creatures unknown as well as the smell of flowing water and leaves christening in their shade. "It truly is worth it...the darkness may be scary but everything has a beauty in it." She recalled the same quote her father once gave her when she finally overcame the darkness of her room and relinquished her night light. Now that that was over she had to find Paolo...
Finally she found herself in a clearing where she found the small cat lounging peacefully on a rock. He was watching something occur but she obviously wasn't paying attention until she drew close to him. She looked and what she saw would scare the bravest man. Gunshots were heard, the sound of sword swipes sliding through air like...like it was air. Two men, the same two men from her dream that had such kindness... She could see it in their hearts and in their voices she could hear them~! Why were they here, why were they fighting... The man and his gun, the man and his sword.. Her fingers trembled again before curling into fists, her lower lip following suit in fear. "You must stop!" She screamed out before she held her arms out as if her words would stop them but her lips still held her fear and her legs were doing everything they could to stay still... It's only when you paint the roses red that you understand...we're all painted a different color...

XXXXXXXX- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -"Don't get to close to me. I have darkness inside me." His eyes, the other males eyes were not on his anymore, he was not looking off in a different direction after hearing a scream. The emotionless blue eye's demon soon turned his head in that very direction only to be caught off guard when his eye's set on a female. A human, she was small and her hair was longer then any woman he had ever seen, her deep brown eyes were locked on the two as her lips quivered in fear. Hearing the cold voice of the angel in front of him Gareki's dark eyebrows arched just slightly. Slowly his head turned towards the white haired other and their eyes met. Lifting his gun up towards the sky he lowered his hand away from the other males head and locked the gun on a safety mode.
Now his gun was sheathed in the side of his black pants, his body leaned back away from the sword as he took a sacred step away from the man who seemed to have wanted him dead just a minute ago. Turning his body towards the female Gareki slowly placed his hands into his pockets and began to walk close to the female. Was the angel right about her? His bright cold blue eye's locked a frozen gaze on the female as he stopped right in front of her, giving her about two or three feet of room between them.
Thats when he saw it, just looking into the scared females eye's Gareki was able to bring his sign down into the females soul. There it was, her soul was nether a negative or positive, she was neutral souled. This was very rare, only one person in all of history so far has had this ability, she must not even understand how powerful she is. "You are a gift greater then your own understanding." Was all he could think to say. "For the first time in my life I am in awe." All this was said with a emotionless and cold expression, a face he usually had plastered on himself.
Obviously she had no clue what he was talking about, how could she, she was just a human girl. Turning his head slightly he glanced over at the bright haired angel through the corner of his bright blue eye's. The other male was just standing there as if he had no idea what he wanted to say at the moment. Slowly his head turned back towards the female, his deep voice once more speaking towards her in a calm manner. "My name is Gareki Karneval, I've been looking for you for a long time now. Well.. We have I suppose." He explained turning slightly to the side in the direction of the other male. Gareki glanced at the girl through his dark thick eyelashes, tilting his head slightly in the direction of the goggles that sat on the top of his head. - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†It was like Ithuriel snapped awake when he watched the demon walk over towards the female. But he froze still, unable to process what was happening. Finally, when the fear the female had in her eyes registered in his mind his feet moved. Ithuriel was in front of the female, sword raised "Stand back demon... I will not let you and your kind taint her soul" he spoke with a cool, calm tone.
Ithuriel knew he didn't have all the time in the world to be fighting with the demon over the girl, he had other things to worry about. He and the demon... Gareki, weren't the only ones after the girl. He turned his head slightly to look at her "I am the angel Ithuriel, I'm here to protect you and help you rid the world of him and his evil brothers and sisters" he said as he turned back to Gareki. His eyes never left the demon's.
Just as Ithuriel was about to charge the male, his ears twitched as he heard the sound of something sizzling. It only took a moment for him to register what was happening. "Get down!" he called as he turned to the female and wrapped his arms around her. Ithuriel cover her body with his own, pressing her to the ground, but hovering over her as to not make her uncomfortable.
He felt a searing heat pass over his back. Ithuriel let out a grunts as he flipped over onto his back. "We have company demon.. It's a child of Lilith... A warlock by the name of Renwick Fell" he explained as he stood and winced. Ithuriel looked over his shoulder and saw that the fire ball had just skimmed his back. He could see part of his white jacket seared into his skin.
He looked over at the demon as sweat cover the surface of his face. "We need to move her... The warlock is getting closer..." he said as he lifted an arm to wipe the sweat from his face. Turning to the girl he helped her up "My apologies.. I hope I didn't harm you in any way?" he asked her, concern flickering behind his eyes. Ithuriel would never intentionally harm her, the demon maybe, but never an innocent such as herself..†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†

In my world two colors resound in meaning and precedence...It was as if she just offended them. They stopped what they were doing and the dark haired male was quick to sheath his firearm. Their expressions had changed, even their gaits slightly shifted. It was like every thought about the other was gone the moment she entered there eyes. It was nice to see that they weren't fighting eachother again but they shouldn't have in the first place. Paolo was very keen to emotions so it's no shock that he led her to them but it she still felt shaken.
Her left foot felt weak so her right took a small step back moments after the dark haired male retreated from his battle stance and walked to her. He stood not far from her but she could still feel his eyes looking at every facet of her body, from her hair to her soul...it was like everything was on display and his emotionless expression while viewing it was almost like an unspoken insult. His words were certainly betraying his outwardly cold focus though. He said such things that would make a girl blush, thankfully for her she was not like most girls. She wasn't one to fall for flattery but she did stumble every now and then.
Finally she had calmed enough to really feel the severity of his voice. It was deep, almost velvety on her ear like a fantasy. It just sounded like something she could get used to. He definitely didn't seem like someone she could classify as dangerous and Melinda was always one to see the good in people! His name, was Gareki? It wouldn't take long to memorize a name like that. For a moment she forgot that the white haired male was even there until his body in front of her, forming a shield of mass between her and the one he called a demon?
His tone was easily as calm but not nearly as emotionless. He seemed to talk fast and said a lot about what she would do to rid the world of Gareki... Wait? He was an angel? Ithuriel and Gareki, an angel and a demon respectively, stood before her. What kind of cosplay mess were they into... It was then that she heard the wind far from her fly in argument with something that was coming right at her! Ithuriel blocked it and wrapped his arms around her slender form rather easily. For a moment everything paused... His tall form enveloped her and she could feel his arms against the small of her back. Everything moved but only in slower motion, next thing she knew he was on top of her. He was making sure to stay a fair distance away but the warmth he provided...it was exactly like the male in her dream.
She looked up at his chest, he probably didn't even realize she was officially blushing. Moments later she was on her feet again after he held her hand and helped her up. He voiced his concern for her and she nodded. "N-no I'm ok thank you..." She looked away, finally regrouping herself before turning to look at her cat who was officially shaking on the same rock. "Paolo..." She hurried to grab him and he hopped almost too happily into her arms for safety. "I'm sorry, I just came to get my cat..." She turned around to see another fire ball hurling it's way towards Gareki. "Watch out! What game are you playing?!" It's only when you paint the roses red that you understand...we're all painted a different color...

XXXXXXXX- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -"Don't get to close to me. I have darkness inside me." A step back was the action he chose to make as the angel just flashed between the human and himself in an instant. The dark haired male let his blue eye's trace over the angel as he stood in front of the female pointing his sword right at Gareki. Raising his dark eyebrow at the male as he threatened the demon to stay away from her, yeah or what? His barking was starting to annoy Gareki, taint her soul, was he serious? All the demon wanted was the key to hell, not the females soul. His expression was emotionless as the other spoke of his brothers and sisters back in hell, as if he really cared about those creatures. Yeah right, the demon barely saw any of them as family, he knew he was much different from them. But everyone back home just tortured him and banished him for being only half demon, he only wanted a way to become rightfully full demon, that way was the key. The key was his only way.
Before the demon could speak the purple eyed male yelped for them to get down, but why? Turning his shoulders just in time to see a ball of flames headed there way Gareki quickly stepped back leaning away from the fire as it passed by him. He could feel the burning heat radiate into his face and chest as the ball of inferno passed them quick like a bullet. His eyes were only back on the two after hearing the painful grunts that escaped the angels lips. He was burnt. Nodding when the angel explained that a child of Lilith was upon them Gareki quickly pulling out his gun and flicked it off the safety without hesitation. He stood in a protective manner will to kill anyone that came close to the human, that was plan to see from him. Although the angel was a different story, he could die for all this demon cared. Hearing the comment about needing to move the female the dark haired male nodded.
Quicker then he could even try to run with her the female shouted for him to watch out, spinning around on his heels Gareki's eyes widened as another flaming ball flew in his direction. Quickly the tall male jumped off to the side only to have the fire skim his shoulder as he leaped out of the way. It did burn him, but not enough to do any real damage. Soon after a tall figured walked out from the other side of the forest, right were the fire balls seemed to be coming from. The figure was a tall male, he had the torso of a normal male and the legs of a goat, he was wearing a long black hooded cloak as sparks flew from his finger tips. "Perfect" The demon muttered in his cold deep voice. The warlock lifted his hand pointing his long slender finger right at the female as he glared at her with his bright yellow eyes. "Give me the one with the neutral soul!" He commanded. But Gareki stepped forward point his gun towards the warlock in a protective motion. "That might be a problem for you!" He informend. "You'll have to kill me first." He growled towards the goat like creature.
"So be it!" The warlock barked back. Quickly Gareki's finger curved around his trigger, he began to shoot rapid shots of his pure silver scriptures bullets at the warlock. But as soon as the first bullet got close enough the horrible creature shielded himself with a force field that covered the front of his body from the bullets. Each bullet shattered into tiny crystal like pieces as it hit the shield. Quickly the blue eyed demon picked up his speed now running towards the creature keeping his gun pointed straight at him. Finally getting close enough Gareki leaped forward kicking at the shield, he ran up the length of the shield and catapulted himself high in the air turning his body in mid air. Soon landing perfectly behind the warlock he held out his gun but to his disadvantage the gun was flung out of his hand hitting the ground at a far distance.
Flinching as the collar of his dark blue coat was grabbed by the warlock Gareki let out yell as he was thrown far into the air. His landing spot, a thick tall tree. The demons bright blue eye's widened as his back slammed against the tree, feeling a white hot pain in his spine he let out a rough cough as blood splashed out of his mouth staining his lips and chin. Slowly his body went limp sliding right down the tree, slouching forward as he hit the ground. This caused the warlock to let out a deviously evil laugh as he turned himself towards the human and the angel. Walking forward the warlock began to speed up a little. Soon after a few long seconds Gareki was up once more, he reached into the back of his coat and pulled something that seemed to shin in the sunlight above him.
In his hand the male held up a knife, it was attached to a chain that held another knife on the other end. Each of the knife covered in engraved scripture. Gripping the right knife in his right hand he tossed the left one far behind the warlock watching the metal weapon sore though the air. The knife hooked around the warlocks neck piercing him right in the middle of his throat. Pulling the other knife towards himself with a good force he watched the creature get flung back behind him soon hitting the ground far from himself and the others laying there lifeless. Turning back towards the two the demon took a step forward only to fall flat on his stomach, his grip loosened around the knife as he rested his warm cheek against the cool grass. His lips stained with blood as he panted deeply, Gareki was in a massive amount of pain, he was sure he wouldn't die.. Unless he was left there alone.- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†Being an angel who barely came into contact with anything other than demons and angel, Ithuriel was oblivious to the fact that he'd made the girl embarrassed. Ithuriel was looking at his wound once more, slightly upset at the fact that his favorite jacket had been ruined. He looked her over, making sure he really hadn't harmed her, he had tried to keep his weight off her as best he could, but even so, it worried him. When she said she'd simply been looking for her cat, he smiled and his eyes spotted the tiny animal in her arms. It looked quite frightened, but also glad to be in her arms. "The pleasure is mine" he said when he had thanked her "Anything to keep you safe" he said. When she told Gareki to watch out, he turned to see the fire ball.
Ithuriel knew it was the warlock Renwick Fell because the warlock had been hunting Ithuriel to get answers from him. Of course the angel had assumed the warlock had gotten lost and given up on trying to find the angel, but clearly this was not the case. But Ithruiel knew that the warlock would have to be dealt with, and then, once all danger was vanquished and the girl was safe, Ithuriel would take her to heaven, hell and purgatory in hopes that she would know where to find the infernal devices. Once he's completed the task, he'd closed the gates of both hell and purgatory, ridding the world of the evil demons and children of Lilith. He would of course offer the girl a seat in heaven amongst him and all the other angels, if she so wished. Otherwise, he would do whatever his power allowed to grant her some wishes, no, not like a genie.
Watching as the demon dodged the fire ball that headed straight for him, he stood in front of the girl "Please stay close behind me" he informed her as he turned to face the warlock. When the child of Lilith insisted that they hand over the girl, Ithuriel heard the demon, Gareki, respond. It was exactly as the angel himself fe;t. He watched as the demon and warlock went head to head, that was when the angel noticed two very distinct things about Gareki. One was that his shoulder had been grazed lightly by the second fire ball that had been thrown his way, and it seemed he was only half demon. When Gareki was thrown towards the tree, Ithuriel starred in horror.
Damn... he thought as he watched the warlock advance on him and the girl, raising his angel blade, he took a few steps in front of the girl and called upon the name of his blade once more "Raziel!" he called as the blade light up with pure blue light once more. He watched the warlock cringe backwards slightly, but before Ithuriel could make an move, the warlock was frozen and coughed up some blood. It took a moment only to notice the blade tip that stuck out from the front of the creatures neck. Watching as the massive warlock was tossed backwards through the air, Ithuriel saw it was Gareki who had attacked it.
Ithuriel saw Gareki's state and watched the half demon fall to the floor a few feet away. He turned to the warlock and walked over to it. Double checking to be certain that Renwick was no longer a threat, Ithuriel knelt and removed the blade from the warlocks throat uttering a small prayer of peace. When he was finished, he stood and walked over to Gareki. He knew it would be easier to allow the half demon to descend back to hell where he belonged, but the angel knew it would not be right. After all this demon was part human as well. Ithuriel swung his sword through the air and extinguished the flames, placing it back in it's sheath on the belt of weapons he wore.
Kneeling down beside Gareki, he tried to think of how to heal him without prayer. It took a lot more energy on his part, and it was doable, but it would cost Ithuriel. With a heavy sigh, he closed his eyes and called upon the heavens for strength. Feeling a surge of power, he opened his eyes, they were of pure gold now, and turned to the half demon "Avert your eyes please... My true form can be blinding to humans and even demons..." he explained to the girl as he did his best to heal Gareki's wounds. Once he was finished, Ithuriel closed his eyes and felt exhaustion wash over his body. He turned to the girl "We must leave here.... I fear the warlock was not the only one searching the forest for you.." he said as he hoisted Gareki onto his back.
Ithuriel turned back to the girl and made his way over to her "Please follow me... I can keep you safe" he said in a soft soothing tone, not wanting to scare her. "I apologize greatly for having put you in harms way... You must know that was never my intentions... You are of great value to many angels and demons alike... But I can assure you that Gareki and I can keep you safe...." he said to her in the same tone. Ithuriel didn't want her to get hurt in anyway, and not only because she was the one of legend who could open or close the gates to heaven, hell and purgatory, but also because she was a simple human, in danger and being an angel, Ithuriel felt it was his duty to protect her. He wasn't sure why he was helping the half demon, but his human side seemed to be much more prominent than his demon side, no matter how cold the dark haired male seemed.†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†

In my world two colors resound in meaning and precedence...The white haired males words were very kind. He seemed to genuinely care and his tone was much unlike the other. He even smiled at her. She could get used to having him around. But she didn't have much time to think about it when the other male zoomed to avoid the fireball. She could see clearly that he was hurt but he seemed unfazed.
Then the white haired male seemingly took his place before him. Why were they doing this? Ithuriel stood before her while Gareki unleashed a flurry of attacks at the man who was attacking them. At first she couldn't really see him beyond the man who called himself an angel but when she was mentioned by the male she tilted only slightly to get him in view. He was an evil looking man to be sure but...his legs were not human. His magic was obviously not normal... She rose her hand to her lips and her legs buckled in fear when he was thrown at the tree.
"W-why are you doing this..." She whispered as she held Paolo close to her chest as her dress folded out into a perfect circle as she met the ground. Gareki had been so skilled, he definitely deserved a hug for his efforts but instead he got a bloody mouth... Why were these two risking their lives for her like this? Why was all of this even happening? What is this...
When she finally found silence she opened her eyes to see the angel walking away... Whatever had been done, was in fact done. She noticed him check the limp body of the warlock before eventually making his way to Gareki. She rose before she had a chance to say anything and hugged Paolo close. She listened to Ithuriel's warning and closed her eyes before also covering the eyes of her cat. When she opened them again she saw him, carrying the body of the once vicious fighting male she saw heard earlier. She personally didn't watch but, she heard every cry and every grunt...preying when she could that he was winning. He kept walking towards her and his words suggested a lot...
She was of value? They searched for her? She...was just trying to get her cat. "I-I'm sorry...I'm not who you think I am..." She looked away from him, tears already making their way passed her cheeks and to the grass below her. "I just got fired from my job and...Angels and Demons? W-who do you think I am..." She turned from him and ran, her dress flailing behind her. She found her way back to the street and sat down on the concrete with her knees softly against the solid footing...
She had never seen death, hell up until that day she had never seen a gun being fired in front of her eye... She wanted to thank them, she wanted to let them know somewhere inside her was grateful but she couldn't fight, she could barely survive! She had a liberal arts degree for gods sake?! She was nothing to anyone...even her landlord thought she was trash... She had a small apartment, no job, and a needy fat cat... Whose pawing on her cheek was getting on her last nerve.
She looked down to him, no longer able to cry after he meowed her back to sanity. They really were the boys from her dream...they were kind, warm...and they agreed on one thing. They fought together rather than against eachother once they had her... They seemed like the worst of enemies but were brought together by her presence... She didn't deserve that kind of power, she wasn't worth that... She sat there, in the darkness of the allyway...petting her cat softly and trying her best to regain the strength to continue...
"I wish I could just disappear sometimes Paolo, I'm not good at anything...all I can do is garden and I only made a rose garden." She actually laughed at that...now that her voice had calmed it would sound a lot like a bell, louder than most quite girls but definitely beautiful to listen to...
It's only when you paint the roses red that you understand...we're all painted a different color...

XXXXXXXX- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -"Don't get to close to me. I have darkness inside me." His bright blue eye's followed the other males feet as he walked forward getting closer and closer to the now weak and helpless demon laying on the ground. His hand tightly gripped the knife in his palm as Ithuriel got inches close, the males jaw clenched but the tall angel continued to walk past him over to the warlock. Shifting his head Gareki looked over at the female, he locked his blue eyes on her just starring. Soon after the angel was back now at his side crouching, hearing him mention healing the demon Gareki turned his head away from the angel looking away.
Feeling the other males hands hovering over his back the dark haired male prepared himself, his body jerked up as a bright blinding silver light flashed between them. Grunting as the healing was over he let his torso softly relax against the warm grass under himself, but soon his relaxed state was interrupted as hands gripped onto his arms lifting him up. Looking up at the angel as he was raised Gareki clenched his jaw, he pressed his hands on the others shoulders letting his body hang right off the taller males back. Just a minute ago this angel wanted him dead, but now he was helping him? Why?.. Maybe it was only because this female was here.
Listening to their conversation his eyes slowly grazed over the grass and to the human as his head laid on the angels shoulder without energy. Soon the female had taken off, raising an eyebrow he watched her body disappear into the woods, she was gone. Although she had already left Gareki couldn't keep his cold eyes out of that direction, before she left he saw it.. A tear, why was she crying? Maybe she was just over whelmed by the situation, its not everyday a human girl meets an angel, a demon and a warlock.. Or was it something else. "Leave her.." He muttered into the silence.
"Let her have this night to herself.. Listen angel, I know we want so badly to kill each other and trust me, I would love your pretty boy head on a stake, but we want the same thing here." He mentioned letting his eyes look over at the angel, his hand still holding the knife in case something really were to happen. Gareki was wounded and there was no way he would win against the angel, not in this state, but he was not willing to die without a fight. "I say we work along side each other, we can use each others power, once we find all the Instruments we let the girl go home. Then we can fight, the winner will keep all three." He offered only able to hope the angel would take it and not just kill him right there. - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†Ithuriel had almost forgotten about the burn on his back until Gareki's clothes lightly rubbed against the wound when the angel adjusted him on his back. Holding back a wince, he knew that if he left the half demon he would most likely die, and well he wasn't sure, even if Gareki was part demon, if he would be able to live with himself if he did. When the girl spoke, Ithuriel's bright purple eyes lifted to hers. He tensed the moment the words left her lips, she was doubting herself, and by the sound of her voice she was terribly frightened. By the angels, the last thing he had wanted was her to run off "Wait!" he called after her in a desperate plea, but she had already vanished, the end of her dress rushing back and forth around her feet. I should have looked after her first... Maybe then.... he thought to himself shamefully.
Ithuriel closed his eyes and sighed, he could still see the film of tears that coated the girl's terrified eyes. He looked over his shoulder at Gareki, he was still in bad shape. He closed his eyes this time to concentrate and tried to sense any near by souls. He could faintly sense the girl up ahead, but there was more than just Renwick the warlock in the forest today. Opening his eyes, Ithuriel had been able to sense one of his brothers as well as another child of Lilith in the forest. Both the angel and the creature were back news for the three of them. If his brother caught him with the half demon on his back, he knew he'd have to fight him, but fighting one of his brothers wasn't something Ithuriel could do. Fighting children of Lilith and even demons, which wasn't easy morally, was far simpler than offing an angel if one himself was an angel.
Ithuriel wished he could have used his true form to fly and be able to move around faster, but he knew that even if Gareki was only a half demon, the pureness of Ithuriel's wings would wound him further, if not descend the demon altogether. Of all the angels and saints... Why didn't I notice her discomfort sooner... he thought to himself. Ithuriel could only blame himself for being so blind to the innocent girl's fear. He had been trying to protect her, but even so he should have made sure she had been okay before he'd told her that they were going to run for safety. I am a fool... With none to blame but myself... he thought with another exhausted sigh. Looking around at everything to help him get his mind off his failure, the angel noticed that the forest looked nothing like the forests in heaven. The color's here were much more dim and it made the trees look as if they were dieing. Even the plants the grew around the trees and the ground of the forest looked unhealthy.
Ithuriel heard Gareki speak, his eyes looked over his shoulder at the weakened half demon. He wanted to leave the girl alone? But didn't he want to obtain the key to hell? As the demon further explained, the angel realized what he was explaining. With a short nod, the angel turned and headed further onto the forest away from the girl. "Gareki.. I know you haven't had efficient healing time.. But I must warn you there is another angel in the forest as well as a child of Lilith..." he said softly. Ithuriel could handle the angel, but if the creature, whatever it was, got closer then the both of them would be in real trouble. He couldn't fight an angel and a child of Lilith, especially when he didn't want to fight one of his brothers period. Ithuriel sighed, today was turning out to be a very difficult day for him, when just this morning he was ready to take on anything and find the girl of legend to lock away demons. When the opposite happened, he found the girl and now he was helping a half demon.
"If we find a spot to hide you well enough... I will be able to get my brother to ascend back into heaven... I'll tell him we haven't found the girl..." he explained, which wasn't really a lie, because the girl was lost now. "The child if Lilith is much further from us and doesn't seem to be heading this way... But if it gets closer we may have to fight it....." he said as his eyes scanned the forest for somewhere he could hide the half demon. The demon had a good point, they both did want one thing from the girl, and once they had it a fight to the death seemed like the best way to predict who would rightfully take the infernal devices. For now, the two would work together to find each instruments and protect the girl at all costs. You need only work with Gareki a short time... Then you will have what is rightfully yours... he thought to himself "Find anywhere that we can conceal you for the time being?.. I fear that my brother nears..." he said calmly, as if the thought of his angel brother finding him in this state wasn't a worry at all.†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†

In my world two colors resound in meaning and precedence...It was official, she sat there for a while. She couldn't help but wonder whether or not they were coming to find her, whether or not she even had to keep running. Eventually she felt foolish and stood, Paolo curling with a gurgly meow in response. Her walk home was quiet, the wind didn't even choose to blow around her but the soft press of her tear stains on her face were painful enough until she reached a knuckle to wipe them free...an attempt at moving on and forgetting everything...
It didn't take long but eventually she made it home! Avenue E building, home of Melinda the gardener and ex grocery store cashier. She turned the key to the front and entered only to check in with the janitor Lenny. He was a large bald man with muscles that definitely betrayed the fact that he was nearing eighty. "Oh hello Lenny~!" She chimed softly before patting the male's back softly and he bowed his head in quick response. As much as she wanted to sulk and pretend that everything she just experienced was a dream she had to realize; this is real life. Even if you come across two strange men who you've met in a dream...two devilishly attractive men. Life still goes on, and like she thought, she was nothing to nobody. They would be better off finding someone prettier anyway.
"Eh there Mel, my girl you seem flustered? Meet a guy or something? Do I gotta rough somebody up?" His comment was blue collar but expected. Now that she was back in her rut, everything was back to normal...nothing new, nothing changed. The stability was enough to make her legs stop shaking and her words come so much easier.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you Lenny." He waved off her comment and she smiled to the charming old man before he patted Paolo's head and sent her off to the elevator. In the elevator was a little boy with the straightest long black hair she had ever seen on someone under the age of ten. He had his finger up and his bright blue eyes looked up to Melinda expectantly.
His name was Andrew, he was the 'self appointed' elevator manager for Avenue E, and the cherished son of Melinda's neighbors the Maxins. Lenny and Andrew, not Gareki and Ithuriel... Names she could understand and say over and over. "Oh third floor please sir?" She smiled softly down to him and even lowered herself in a rather charming curtsy, flattering the boy and making him blush. He pressed the button and off they went, he even drew close to the beautiful older female and rook her arm into his own like a gentleman.
"W-would you like me to take you to your room Ms. Benson?" He chimed, his heart no doubt beating a thousand miles.
"Oh that would be lovely Andrew." She echoed his answer before he led her down the hall to her room and the elevator took itself back to the first floor. "Thank you Andrew...you're such a fine little gentleman, now you head back home it's late." He nodded to her before putting his hand out for a tip~! That little bedbug?! He sure was adorable though, instead of handing him any leftover change she just leaned forward and put the softest of kisses on his cheek which spontaneously transformed him into a tomato...
She watched him wobble next door and stumble inside before she shut her door... A few minutes later she had stripped herself and fled into a nice, well deserved shower. When she was finished making sure every inch of her body could forget today had happened she sat down on her sofa, wearing her nightgown and staring down at her newest objective. She had to get another real job by the end of the week or she would be kicked out once the super returned. It wasn't uncommon for her, but she looked out at her apartment, her one bedroom apartment with one shared bathroom down the hall. It was cheap but she barely afforded it... She barely had it furnished. Aside from the kitchen being stocked with the essential machines, she had no kitchen table, no fine place to eat. She was forced to enjoy her dinners from the sanctity of the sofa she sat on right now. She did have a coffee table before it that Lenny made her but her true claim to apartment fame was her garden.
She stood and unraveled her long expanse of hair from her towel before allowing it to flow around her body in wet angry strands. Finally she took her mother's brush and delicately tamed it. When that was finished she took to the balcony which was actually a fancy fire escape and looked out at the chilling rose garden she was so fond of. She had food, she had a place to live, but her one true happiness was her garden...and Paolo of course. As a matter of fact Paolo was far too exhausted by his ordeal to stick around so he went out for a stroll of his own which was typical. The brown haired beauty leaned forward to smell her roses as they lay bare and protected from the wind in small pots.
Finally she put her hands on the railing of the escape and looked out on the sleeping city beyond. The people who could be what they want and lived how they want...while she was stuck here with running water...and not enough money for electricity. She lived a pretty crappy life, but she was happy. With every up had a down, with every bad thing that happened came good luck. As long as she had the little things to make her smile, she would be just fine. In her peace she couldn't help but think back to the boys she met today.
Gareki, his hair was dark, he wore goggles. He was also the first male to ever compliment her in such a long time. His face was cold and his motions were mysterious, but he put his life on the line for her today. Even if that warlock thing was fake...that blood she saw on his lip wasn't. How she wished she could just give him a big hug and treat him to a thank you. He seemed rough around the edges, but he protected her so fervently and even allowed the angel boy to take care of him... "Thank you Gareki..." She whispered softly after taking a small dead rosebud clad in black and breaking it's petals in order to let it flow in the breeze.
Then she thought about the charming angel boy. His hair was white as snow and he fought with the most peculiar sword. He seemed so nice and his hands radiated a warmth that left electricity on her skin. She only wished she could have seen this true angel form of his firsthand. He must have been torn when she ran away, his words sounded so caring... "I'm sorry Ithuriel..." That was his name... She slipped one of her white rose buds and flitted the petals out in an apology to him.
These boys were so curious...and their motives were a mystery. She couldn't deny that what they did today was far from fake...they risked their lives for her today against some sort of magic. If magic did exist, then that doesn't make her some amazing figurehead for them to use... She was just a girl, a girl far lower then their standards. "If you guys can hear me...I really am sorry...you just have the wrong girl..." She felt a calm wind caress her, it may have been calm but it wasn't warm... With that she hugged her arms close to her chest and retreated inside...
Finally she was knee deep in bed and her dreams were beckoning to her... Maybe if she was lucky she would dream of them, the two handsome heroes she had met today... She would dream of herself being good enough to stand by them as their friend... maybe they could be friends too? Yes, she would like that... With her moist hair creating a pillow beneath her she closed her eyes...eventually she found rest but no dreams cradled her...leaving her mind in the purgatory of thought known as a dreamless sleep. It's only when you paint the roses red that you understand...we're all painted a different color...

XXXXXXXX- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -"Don't get to close to me. I have darkness inside me." Finally the other spoke explaining to the demon that there was another child of Lilith and one of his angel brothers after then now. How could he sense them? He just have had a strong sixth sense. Gareki's sense of smell, hearing and sight were always his strongest. But maybe for Ithuriel he must have sensed it, how else would he know about them? The dark haired demon just listened to the others suggestions on what they needed to do. Find a hiding place? A place where Gareki would be out of sight from the other angel. His bright blue eyes flicked upon the other when he mentioned that he was in fear of his brother being close, that wouldn't be very good would it. But for a moment the demon couldn't think of what to say, were would he be safe from the angel?
"There is a bike on the outside of this forest in a alley way, take me to it.." He explained pointing in the direction of were he had said the bike would be. Ithuriel might be asking himself why the male wanted to be dropped in an alley way near some bike but it all made sense in Gareki's head. He tapped the white haired males shoulders as he just stood there looking like he had just heard the dumbest idea ever. The half demons hand lifted above the others shoulder as he pointed again. "That way, we don't have time for you to be thinking." He barked at the other male hoping that this angel would just listen and start moving before someone or something found them.- -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- - -- -XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†Bright purple eyes scanning the forest, the angel heard the demon say something about a ride in an alley way. Bike?.. What good wou- his thoughts interrupted by the demons urgent voice. Ithuriel noted the hint of hostility and nodded. Setting his feet firmly on the ground he took off in the direction the demon had told him too, he let his senses take over as he jumped over rocks and leaped over the large roots of the trees. He sensed his brother's confusion and prayed that it would distract the other angel long enough for Ithuriel to get Gareki to safety. Forgive me brother... Forgive me father.... he thought in a plea as he reached the clearing and dashed out of the forest blinking from the sudden change in light. Ithuriel stood frozen for a moment as hie eyes quickly adjusted to the harsh sunlight that wasn't present in the forest. That could explain the dullness of color in the forest.... he thought to himself as he blinked and looked up at the city.
Ithuriel stood for a few moments longer, his eyes trained on the vastness of the city that stood only a few feet before them. He'd seen a human city years ago, and it had been nothing like the one before him now. Then He'd know limited knowledge of humans, the one thing he'd know was their addiction to a bitter, black liquid, it was called coffee. Ithuriel had acquired the taste for the bitter liquid, he'd often go to human cafe's and enjoy a cup. That was when he'd decided to learn as much as he could about humans and their activities. Of course heaven had several books on them, and while Ithruiel found knowledge in reading every single copy held in the enormous library's of heaven, he'd known it was nothing like seeing real humans at work. He'd spent some time in the human world those thousand years ago. But then heaven needed more angels to keep things running as God had vanished.
Being one of the most knowledgable angels, his brothers and sisters had forced him to return to heaven to stay in the library's and research. That was how Ithuriel had come across the legend of the girl with the neutral soul. He'd offered little knowledge of the topic to his brothers and sisters, not due to greed, simply out of ignorance of the subject. The reason was Ithuriel hadn't believed that there was such a girl out there, not until the day God had vanished and the rumours of a human entering all the realms was spread through heaven, hell and purgatory like wildfire. Althought he still hadn't shared all his knowledge, he'd offered to be one of the many angels who would come down to earth and find her. Luckily, because he was a angel who held many secrets of the human world, everyone agreed to allow him to descend and try to seek out the girl of legend in hopes to shut the gates of hell and purgatory to keep the world safe.
Snapping back to reality, he rushed over to the alley that Gareki had mentioned. He scanned the dark stretch of dumpster infested concret until his eyes caught the glint of the bike. Ithuriel walked over to the bike and gently set him down beside it. He turned to the demon and looked down both sides of the alley. Looking back over to the dark haired male, he handed him a bullet. This bullet wasn't like any regular bullet, it was of pure gold and had a cross etched onto each end "If there's any danger, or if you need to call me.. Shoot the bullet down the length of the alley towards the forest.. It'll burst into a explosion of gold dust that I can be summoned too" he explained as he loaded the bullet into the gun. With a short nod, Ithuriel brushed himself off and turned to the forest "I shouldn't be long... And if I don't come back... Then presume me to be ascended.." he said before he took off towards the forest.
Rushing back into the forest, it didn't take long for the angel to find his brother, sensing he was close to him and Gareki. When he reached his brother, Ithuriel smiled "Gabriel!" he exclaimed with glee as he and his brother wrapped their arms around each other. When the contact was broken, Ithuriel tilted his head lightly to the side "What brings you here brother?.. I was told I would be the only one searching this part of the human world?..." he asked curiously. When Gabriel explained, Ithuriel nodded and sighed with exhaustion "I was attacked by a warlock in this forest.. Renwick... As for the human girl... I haven't found her.. I've searched the city beyond the forest... But she doesn't seem to be here.." he explained sadly. He looked at his brother who's smiled had faded. When Gabriel sad that he would ascend and ask for further instruction, Ithuriel nodded "I will research the city before I ascend" he said as he watched Gabriel disappear.
With a sigh of relief Ithuriel allowed himself to relax finally. He'd been terrified that his brother would have found out that he'd been half lying. Luckily it had been Garbiel, one of his move loving and understanding brothers. Maybe father is still looking over me after all..... Maybe.......... By the God and all his angels... I we don't run into anymore of my brothers and sisters... he thought as he sat on the forest floor and leaned back against the trunk of a tree. Closing his eyes, Ithruiel concentrated on the souls around him. He could sense the child of Lilith hadn't quite moved, he was a little ways from the edge of the forest, but it didn't concern the angel. However, when he tried to sense Gareki, it took him much longer due to all the human souls that were in the city. After a great strain on his energy, he had been able to sense the demon, he seemed fine for the split second he'd sensed him. Giving himself a minutes to recollect some strength, the angel stood and make his way back towards the demon. Ithuriel reached Gareki and looked down at him "How do we find her?... We've both failed her..... How will we ever find her and protect her now?..." he asked the demon sadly as he took a set beside him on the cold, hard ground of the unpleasant alley.†XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX†
