"Only how much a month?" She scratched the side of her head, her brown hair rustling in the wind. "I'll take it." She was discussing things with the land lord about the neighborhood and how her work could make her leave at a long amount of time. "I don't want to get broken into, you know?" The landlord was playing hard fake, throwing a bunch of facts that she knew wasn't true by the price. But Nikola nodded and signed the deed anyways, dragging her stuff onto the second floor and falling onto her bed.
As soon as Nikola would have allowed sleep to take her a loud thud would sound off, followed by a smaller pair. Little girl. Katerina spoke as she kicked in the door, hard enough to knock it off it's hinges AND sticking it into the wall. Kat strolled in, looking around to see she hadn't settled in yet and beckoned for Kasumo to come in. Oh... did you rent this place? I... ew. I could have set you up somewere far nicer. she said walking over to her and laning down to kiss her forehead. She then smacked her on it and furrowed her brow. AND THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE. At any rate, to keep a long story you aren't old enough for short, this is Kasumo. she said gesturing towards her and grabbing her hand. She's my love, my lady, my Queen. She would allow them to greet or... be awkward and walk around examining the place. She spoke from the bathroom. Okay... so we're gonna cancel your lease Nikola. She came back to her daughter, the girl she had adopted after hearing her story, and rubbed her hair. Nikola was one of few who knew of her background now too actually. Katerina decided that in order to move further and not be so hung up on the past she should try and look to the future. That was partially why she was becoming bored with other things. Nikola and Kasumo were pretty great, and now they were meeting. She smiled as a happy mother down at Nikola, secretly dreading having a weakness in the two of them but also revelling in the chance to be seen as something other than a monster. She is of course, but at least she had something to make her feel different. Perhaps they would help her ambition in a way too. Why she was so interesting in this... not even she could word. But she put a hand on Nikola's chin and tiled her head up, her other hand still on her head and looked into her eyes. Damn she loved Nikolla's eyes. She saw a Lydian dragon in her, she saw an angry power waiting to be unleashed. She also saw a small, beautiful thing. Something she held in her hand. Seconds went by like this for Kya where she would just look at Nikola while she trained, or while she was yelling at her for whatever menial thing, just to ruffle her feathers. Even that time she had broken her hand in practice as a harsh lesson, or everytime she kicked her through a window she would just look proud as she frowned, growled and fought back. She admired her. Deep down Katerina woulda ended up like her with any other father.
She wouldn't let her be turned into Kya the second. She released her face, sighing and sitting beside her on the bed.

The two arrived to run down looking apartment complex. 'I guess this is were I'm meeting that person.' thinking back to the words Kya spoke not to long ago. Approaching a door Kya kicked in its frame hard enough to knock it straight off its hinges and stick it into the wall on the other side. 'Little girl?' Kasumo thought peering into the room. Kya strolled into the room with a walk of power and dominance but Kasumo had a different air about her. Following in Kya's footsteps Kasumo moved with grace and gentleness like a gently rolling weave for falling snow flake. The two seemed so different in the way they moved at present but appearance never really tell you much, most of the time. Blue orbs adjusting to the difference in lighting as Kya seemed to be speaking to someone but as she did Kasumo cast her glace around the room. 'Talk about hard living.' her thoughts to herself as her eyes returned to Kya. Walking over to a figure as she leaned down to kiss their forehead. It was at this time a view of a young female came into view. Kya smacked her on her forehead after her kiss and a crack of a smile formed over Kasumo's lips. 'That's so like you.' Kya would then introduces the two with a few colorful words. Her hand gesturing towards her and grabbing her hand. Her own fingers softly pulled around Kya's hand in a gentle manner but just as quickly as they touched Kya was off into the room examining the place. Leaving the two of them along for the moment. "Hello." her oddly mature but feminine tone swept out into the room as she greeted the girl. A soft smile formed over her lips and before she could say anything more Kya called out from the bathroom. 'Nikola was it?' coming back into the room as the two of them seemed to be having a sort of mother daughter moment. From what she could tell Kya seemed to have taken in this girl but thus far never directly said anything but even if it was so Kasumo would have no problems with the situation but simply looked around the room herself for the moment. "What a dreadful place.." speaking in a whisper of a voice.

Nikola's eyes became heavy as she stared at the ceiling, slowly drifting into what would have been a great comatose sleep before there was a loud bang and she jolted up awake. The only person she would expect to push her way into the place like that appeared before her eyes, and she felt grateful but irritated at the same time. Grateful because it meant that she was saved from such a disgusting place, and irritated because she was on the brink of sleep when Kya had arrived. She commented about how disgusting the place was, and then introduced her new lady. Kya wasn't the type to randomly bring home a girl, so it had to be a serious relationship if Kya was introducing her to Nikola. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She would out stretch her hand towards the woman, Kasumo, who was wonderfully styled and seemed mature. Before she could shake hands with the woman, Kya was lifting her head and looking in her eyes. There was a brief moment of silence before she let go and Nikola spoke," I'll gladly leave this place. You were gone for a while, I wanted to finally get some work in. Join this place's military since that's all shinobi are useful for." She rolled her eyes, remembering what had happened to her home a year or so back.

Kya was glad the two of them didn't seem to have any outright issues with each other. From her seated position kya crossed her legs and listened to the echoed comnplaints. I think this entire country is sort of odd. It's literally ran by corporations. I in fact am sending a shadow clone to meet with Armand the Otokage as we speak. I have big plans for this country... and the world. She pulled Kasumo by her hand to sit between her legs and leaned back against the wall, her arms wrapped around her waist. We'll be running the black market soon enough. I already have underworld connections that lead into big companies. Im going to do more than just racketeer and extort however. She would smile at Nikola. I made it a point, when I adopted you, not to involve you in my darker business but I think you are strong enough now to play a role. A big one. Katerina ran a hand through Kasumo's hair and looked at her silken locks as she spoke. Kassy will play a role too. As she spoke her claws raked gently along her scalp. Her other hand found Nikola's cheek clamped between two of it's fingers.

She pulled her hand free as she sighed and instead ran her hands gently down her back. The minute her mother spoke about the black market, she was instantly reminded of being a slave. Being sold and abused, used. She drew a shakey breath at the proposal, Kya, whom thought she was strong enough to completely put her past behind her and do the same thing to others that she had done to her. If that wasn't a bit ******** up to ask, she didn't know what is. Nikola sighed," Fine." She only agreed because she didnt have to face the slavery part. She could fight someone or kill someone that had to do with slavery. Revenge could be as sweet as pudding, but as red as blood. Nikola didn't look happy about it, but she wanted to support Kya's decision. If she was doing this it had to be for a good reason. If it wasn't, then she would lose trust in her adopted mother.

Kasumo's eyes drifted to the out stretched hand offered to her by Nikola but before she could take her up on the offer the conversation switched and its directer was, Kya. "The pleasure's all mine." speaking quickly due to the conversation moving so fast. Kasumo hoped Nikola caught her words in those few seconds. Kasumo's eyes narrowed slightly as she looked around the room a second time. Drifting over towards Kya and her seated position. Arms crossing over her chest but her body remained relaxed and calm. 'Big plans could mean so many things.' Kasumo thought to herself with a faint grin. When did this woman not have something up her sleeve? Taken out of her own thoughts as the warmth of a hand could be felt against her skin as her attention was brought onto Kya. Pulling her over to sit between her legs as Kya leaned against the wall behind them. Her arms wrapped around Kasumo waist which caused her cold skin to heat up quickly. "Black market, huh?" tilting her head back to get a look at Kya as she spoke. It sounded interesting but being honest here not something Kasumo was familiar with. All her life it was the simple act of killing but this was a whole new ball game. Kasumo felt fingers run though her silky locks sending a chill down her spin. Blue orbs clouded over for a moment as Kya used her nickname as her fingers raked gently along her scalp almost making her purr. 'I wonder what kind of 'role' she has in mind.'
Kya spoke to Nikola now but Kasumo didn't mind after all she was happily placed in Kya's arms for the time being. A arm now wrapped around Kasumo that just a few moments ago held Nikola's check. 'Tiger shark.' The words played in her head once more liking the sound of it. Listening to the mystical tone used by Kya a simple smile escaped from Kasumo. A spy master? Kasumo didn't know how to react to this at first but maybe Kya saw something in her that she couldn't. Seeing more then a blood thirty shark that own sought blood. Kya's hand ran gently down Kasumo's back causing her cheeks to raise with a smile. "Sounds--." Kasumo's words cut off as she noticed the face Nikola was making. She looked anything but pleased but she did agree to Kya's words. "Hmm.." the sound escaped her lips as she pressed them together into a thin line looking at Nikola. Something clearly bothered her but excitedly what she did not know so Kasumo would hold her words back and returned to attention to Kya. "Sounds lovely."

Kya could sense the discomfort in Nikola. She ignored it outwardly. She was mildly concerned but Kya knew she'd be fine. Who knew better the Black Market than a former slave. She was lucky to have escaped sure but in Kya's eyes this would be a good oppurunity for her regardless. And if she wanted to say no she could have. She would roll to the side of her lover and crack her neck Right then. I have some matters to attend to . Ill be heading to take care of something that was mandated by Armand. He's delegated me to lead his special forces. I need to go and see my shiny new headquarters. You're welcome to join, but I think you two should start getting established. Do some missions, maybe go meet our fearless leader perhaps. She would stand and look down to Nikola. Little Girl... she started while exhaling.. I'll pay for the door. Come and see in a few days when I return so we can talk. I'll be out in the country most likely. She would kiss her forehead, and then place a sweet kiss on Kasumo, with a wink. With that she would disappear without another word, right out the door and into the air in a streak of black fire.

When Kya left Kasumo glanced over at Nikola and offered her a smile. The girl would not know that such a thing was only expressed in the company of people she cared for and right now if she was impotent to Kya then Nikola was impotent to her. "I'll be around the village if you need me." stating in a calm and even tone as she too made her way towards the entrance that now lacked a door."Feel free to seek me out if you wish." and with those words the woman vanished out the doorway with her long blue locks trailing behind her in a ghostly manner.
