well since Splatoon is a WII U game...that kinda hurts the fourm quite a bit...but maybe we can have the off time from said console (wish i had BTW crying I have only played 3 games of Turf war on a friends console)
my idea Build up a RP guild based on splatoon maybe? i have seen a few requests on other forms for one. and im kinda intrested to try it out.

Here are some of my ideas, most of this ideas aren't really going to get people active, well maybe but think their helpful to make the guild a bit better.
Add more sub forums: like a general discussion so we can talk about stuff non-splatoon related and maybe some other sub forums for other stuff (I'm not sure what though besides a roleplaying sub forum like DaMetaEX suggested)
Advertisement and better banner: not a lot of people doesn't know about this guild, I just happen to find this guild just by doing a random search on Gaia, I didn't even think someone made a Splatoon guild yet (I was going to do it but I guess someone beat me to it. lol), The guild leader has a banner for the guild but I didn't even know it was a clickable image until Listera pointed that out to me. It's a nice image and I'd love to put in my sig but it's kind of big. We need a smaller banner with some text saying "Join the official Splatoon Guild" or something. That perfect for your signature.
Vice captain: We don't have a vice captain and we kind of need one! Someone who post often (Either making threads in the guild or posting in the other threads that are currently here) and checks the guild often, who can keep track of the guild when the guild leader isn't around and keep the guild active and running.
Maybe get rid of some people who joined and never bother posting in the guild? I've notice we have 100 members of the guild but I haven't really seen a lot of active users posting in this guild except for a few. I know not a lot of people get on Gaia everyday, but I've somewhat checked to see if new people join. Some of them don't even bother making a post at all..
Hmm, that's all of my ideas of making the guild better~ :3

A Wii U sub forum would be nice for talking about other Wii U games and for looking for other people that may want to play together like in Smash/MK8 and for just discussing other games we like. The guild could be mainly about Splatoon, but being allowed to talk about other things elsewhere in the guild would be nice. I agree there really needs to be a vice captain. Running a guild on your own isn't an easy thing to do. You sound like you'd be a great vice captain btw! You seem to know what you're talking about.

However with the idea about the Splatoon Rp Idea a eye catching story would be needed to be created and will have to have a lot of planning in it.. i can assist you on that. give me plot points and i will try and spin a story. Example. The years is 4350 Earth is a barren wasteland. most of humanity died when the scorch happened. those who survive cling to whats left of the water. science is all but lost. where science has vanished Magic has taken its place. in these extremes Humans evolved and unlocked there hidden potential. the combination of magic and science has helped then thrive but it will not sustain them for long unless they make a breath through. in an attempt to dig up older technology they fused machine with Human so they could survive out in the scorched landscape that was once earth. There sole purpose is to find lost technology and return it for study. there efforts have proven fruteful as no only are these scavangers able to survie but they found means to transport heavier objects around in the desert. for safety and security they formed up small groups. though there is some fighting between these groups but they settles things peacefully for the benefit of Humanity. Will they find the missing piece to revive there lost earth. or are they doomed to follow in the footsteps of there ancestors.

I think you should do a banner just to have something to start off with, maybe a 340 X 73 banner or something slightly bigger than that would be nice~ ^^ I would do it but my drawing tablet doesn't work and my stylus broke...

As of right now I can't think of many good plot points. As I don't really know what most people are looking forward in a Splatoon Rp... Must do research tomorrow... Anyway it really just depends on if we want to do one similar to the current story in Splatoon or branch off.

My only thing is with it is what the background needs to be. {I know the name needs to be there of course} Like does it need to look like ink everywhere. Callie and Marie there. The guns ect. Just know it may take me a couple days to come up with something. That and I'll post multiple banners and maybe have everyone vote on it? Not sure. sweatdrop

 {Well, yes, I think we need crew/vice captain. Vice Captains to make guild announcements whenever a new splatfest is coming, or a new weapon, etc. and give specific times as to when they happen/come out.} ✪

Well, I think the background should be colorful. Different color ink splatter would be nice for the background. That sounds good to me and voting sounds like a good idea as well. If you want to do something like that, it's up to you. cat_whee

That's true. Maybe go into some of the Octoling things.. Those are some very popular.. Characters that i've seen a lot of people mention. So maybe Octolings and what goes on besides the turf wars? I mostly liked the idea and thought of the process before actually thinking of Ideas so these are mostly brainstorms right now. Paint splats was a given for one of them. I might get creative and add the inkling mask behind it. Not sure I'll come up with different ideas and get people to vote on them. Though I will make the ones people can vote on big so they can see what it says then re-size them as well as crop if need be.
Looks like I finally have something productive to do for once besides play Splatoon of course emotion_awesome
