Hello fellow Spades!
I would like to invite you to participate within my role play! Genre: Fantasy/war with a hint of romance.
The world, characters and the plot lines are derived from my own book which I’m currently writing. I am in dire need of inspiration and colourful characters. If you have any suggestions to plot lines, twists and characters for this story please pm me and I may take your ideas on board so that we can create something beautiful! If you would like your characters/ideas to be featured in my book just let me know (I will obviously ask permission to do this first.) Lastly, please note the characters mentioned are not the only characters in this story you are more than welcome to create your own characters feel free to let your imagination run wild with character concepts. But please be mindful there is only two worlds but both are enormous; the Human world and the Magical world. So you must select which one you would like to be a part of. Now onto the story.

Story

The Humans lived in fear, most were no strangers to cowardliness and lacked free spirit. Rules dictated everything leading to a mundane lifestyle, sleep routes, work routines and food rations. Essentially, the humans are prisoners in their own world. Neurotic orders were commonplace, any person who was sane would not be sane for long in this village. The Human race strive for one purpose to overthrow the demons and annihilate every, last, one.

Set within a fantasy world called Neria’, there are two main races Humans and Demons but there are magic folk as sub races also; wizards, elves, fairies, furries etc. The Human world and Demon world used to be one world, until the Demon’s massacred many humans during a war centuries ago, a barrier was formed between the two, dividing the two races. Curious Humans are more than welcome to enter this portal to the Demon world. However, there is one problem those who enter the portal have never come back. I've heard rumours that they were killed by demons but no one knows of this to be true. Humans are automatically banished and cast aside by other humans if they choose to cross through the portal.

But across the portal, is a bright rural land, with forests, rivers, lakes, LIFE. but this is the Demon's homeland. Demons are essentially previous bloodthirsty humans who have no memories of their human life. However, there are some very powerful characters that are exceptions to this – please see the character information for this. The story features forbidden romance from two main characters Raina (whose human) and Louis (whose a demon). Raina is just one of the humans who decided to cross through the portal to the magical world. Raina meets Louis in the Tranquil forest, Louis prior to this has been instructed by his adopted father the demon king to kill this human who has strolled into their carefree world trying to disturb the peace. Louis has a mission to kill Raina but gradually his heart softens to her and they become friends and later secret lovers. Raina and Louis forge an alliance with an Elf named Zunee, who was a witness to the previous human vs demons war. The other starter character to join this alliance is a talking black cat Solomon. They seek out on a quest to find others who are in search for an end to the bloodshed, so the races can live side by side once more.

Brief character back stories/additional information:

Raina: Human, Lower class. Raina is a natural beauty with long red hair and hazel eyes, a slender build and is 20 years of age. She has followed her father’s footsteps regarding her obsession towards demons which she draws, fantasises over. Seeks to escape the prison that is the Human world. As the story progresses she openly displays her love for Louis. Raina is quirky, clumsy, reckless, brave and hot-headed she's a skilful archer and the main character.

Louis: Demon, 22 years of age. Tall dark and handsome; with a muscular build, spikey black hair, green eyes and black fallen angel wings. (He also has long claws once fully in his demon form). He is a very independent character, very secretive, closed off and distant with most people. But once he loves someone he will give his life for them. He essentially ends up falling in love with a human girl, Raina but remains in denial for a long time.

Odin: (Demon King, Louis's adopted father - feel free to create this character)

Eriziem: Demon, 100 years of age (looks in his mid-thirties), blonde hair, red eyes, slim build but powerful in manipulation. Previously mentally abused by his father but continues seeking his father’s admiration and recognition. He grows into a very disturbed character who changed the course of history through creating methods, manipulations and strategies for each race to despise one another. He is the current villain in this story. (But there can be many more!)

Edan: (The Devil, Eriziem’s Father 250 years of age (looks in his 50’s): Unknown – feel free to create)

Zunee: (pronounced Zune-ay) Fairy - she’s miniature chibi formed character, whose dress is made out of leaves. 300+ years old but permanently looks like a teenager, she is immortal and is always riding a black butterfly with pools of purple shades on its wings. I imagine her personality to be an airhead but has moments of being very wise due to her many years of life experience.

Solomon: Cat/Wizard: Cursed by a witch into the form of a black talking cat ironically he despises cats. 500+ years old, very wise, presents himself as a father figure to Raina and wants to protect her and his hobbies are insulting Louis.
