YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE MOTHER OF A NOW LEVEL 50 PUMPERILLA. mommy is proud.

Well, I wouldn't really think of levelling my kin to 50 if it weren't for Sycamorte hunting. That seems to be a popular thing to do in Lake Kindred, since the gold$$$ are real.

So, do you go Sycamorte hunting? What's the strategy you personally use? What's the kin you generally use?

For those who are new to the game or don't hunt, do you plan to eventually or do you have more specific goals for Lake Kindred?

YASSS!! Congrats on yo Pumperilla emotion_brofist

I've been using Pumperilla too! But this morning I got my Sakura to 50, so I will be using her.

My strategy is to flee from everything that isn't Sycamorte. I use the Lite version of Lake Kindred (on my phone) to make animations go slightly faster. I always take poison away (if I have antidotes.. usually I don't) because the poison animation makes battle go so slow.

If Sycamortes are popping up frequently, I skip the Phantoms cuz they take too long to kill and drop more prunnies than gold for me. If Sycamortes are rare, I'll do the Phantoms.

I will heal when my kindred is around 470hp. I am used to missing, especially when the Sycamorte has LITTLE hp left, then it kills me so I'd rather be safe than sorry and use a 100,000g potion to win that 2b.

Congrats! I'm still using Pumperilla too. Right now I'm not fleeing from non-Sycamortes since I'm leveling my Sakura in Stage 5, but normally everyone flees from them when farming gold.

I always flee from Phantoms, not worth it for me.

Always use antidotes if you have them, poison makes the battle a lot slower and annoying, and sometimes if you get hit with only a little hp left you would die from the poison.

I also recommend healing even if you're 1 turn away from winning because there are so many times I'd missed the killing blow and gotten killed instead.

Thanks for the congrats, everyone! <3

Oh man, antidotes xD I didn't realize why people needed antidotes so bad until I started Sycamorte hunting, too. I went from over 100 to under 50, fast.

I've been killing every sycamorte/phantom sycamorte, but I have like 8 prunnies now so I think I might stick to regular sycamorte too. It depends, though. I'm definitely still figuring out my strategy for syca hunting, which right now involves using small heals to stay above the 1-hit-KO range, but I am quickly running out of those so I will probably learn to use Pumperilla's healing move well soon enough

No not yet. Been too busy to grind lately but congrats ^^

I did accidentally encounter a sycamorte though, didn't even let me flee hahaha

I do actually. My plan is to grind up my stronger kin atm while saving up for a pumpae. Once I get my pumpae, I'll level that up and use it to hunt down sycamortes.

End Goals:
-Have the top kin
-Collect every kin
-Be able to hunt sycamortes

Congratulations! Does Pumperilla have a name?

I don't syacamorte hunt just yet. None of my kin are leveled up enough to survive. I got close once... and then I died. I'm leveling up my Pouncer but that's more for splicing and easier earning of achievements during events than anything else. I'm thinking I'll level up either my Cria or Nyaruma to hunt sycamortes in the future. That might take a while, though. Maybe I'll earn a Sakura in the meantime. That'd work, too.

But I do plan on hunting them eventually! (Just like the Amanda Show and that one "superhero": eventually!)

P.S. I swear, I didn't follow you from GCD and SF. Total happenstance. ninja

I call her Paepae and Lil' P by habit. xD She isn't so little anymore though, and she totally wrecks! Spamming GC offers has its rewards, I saved up for her and got her myself ;v;

Ah man, Sycamorte hunting was incredibly hard for me and I avoided it altogether until I learned about the OP kins. I did kill my first Sycamorte with my level 20 Ursadew (who is now a big Riptide!) but it was INCREDIBLY difficult and took a LOT of mega heals. I have no idea how good Nyaruma is, but I'm sure whatever choice you make will be a great one!

Congrats!! I wish I had one of those powerful kins...
Right now I'm training my recently evolved Hembria (I have a mighty need for the items and damn, Machia is so cute even if he's not powerful) so every time I encounter a Sycamorte (I'm playing in stage 4, btw) I use my level 41 Riptide and he takes them down pretty well, tho he has problems with level 18+ ones sweatdrop
I wait until I have little to no health to use a mega heal, unless I know the tree can kill me with one hit, then I use a small heal to avoid getting killed. Riptide may not be OP but he can kill trees without using any pots if the Syca is level 12 or less (sometimes he does need one magic restore tho)
I imagine he's gonna get better at chopping trees once he's level 50, but I don't wanna use ally potions on him since I'm saving them for Hembria~
I'm gonna get a Sakura one day but I won't forget how useful Riptide can be 3nodding

This thread has been moved to Leafkit's Treehouse.

Reason(s) Sycamorte hunting and the discussion of it (which kin to use, strategies, drops, etc.) is still a fairly new concept to many players since it requires a high-level kin. Use this opportunity to teach new and old players alike!

Congrats on your pumperilla! >u<
Yeesss, sycamorte hunting!! emotion_dowant
I just recently got my baby billy to lvl 50 he's sakura pegacorn fluff and he's such a great help!! >w<
I just generally fight anything and everything in stage 5, im too lazy to flee and only fight sycas! xP
The only time i use my heals is when im fighting phantom sycas and my health drops to around 400 or below, i always use a small heal then since some of them hit up to 600damage and i aint gonna let a 2bil slip from my hands! =^=

But seeing that it's even more expensive than Sakura, I don't know if I should try to trade it for my most desired kin...Do you guys have any suggestion? I know both can kill trees but idk emotion_facepalm

oh, whoops! my bad, i thought it was more of a chat than like a strategy guide but i could definitely see how that works. i'll keep that in mind for next time. xD

on topic:
bro, Riptide was AWESOME when I was using him. I remember getting so excited that he was dealing 200+ damage to kins. I now see that is baby numbers compared to the OP kins, but Viktor (my Riptide) will always be near and dear to my heart.

Oh wow, congrats!!! They're very expensive I'm sure, since there aren't as many around. Most people are going for the Sakuras when they appear in the CS occasionally!

If you don't have a huge concern for the kin and would prefer to get the one you want the most, I think you should try to do that. :33 the only thing to keep in mind with Sakura fluffs is that they are a lot of work with leveling up at first, since they are very weak. Of course they become monster trucks later on, though.

Thank you! I never thought I'd actually get it crying
But I've been dreaming about having a Sakura since the first time I saw that little b*****d, and it's been months since then...I've trained weaklings several times, I have a normal Pegacorn at level 8 already, so I'm not worried about working hard on the pink one emotion_yatta
I'll see if someone wants to trade, you just never know until you try~
