Astronima Academy



The academy has been run by the Fairchild family for generations. Here trainers learn about the Pokemon world awaiting them past the gates. Students are generally between the ages of 12, and 16 while they stay for four years.

The North tower of the school hosts the female dormitories, while the South tower hosts the males'.

Every student must take three classes throughout the four years, and are given three other spaces to choose what they wish. There are a number of extra-curriculars that students are able to take part in.

All students must take:

Battle Strategies - 1, 2, 3, 4
Pokemon Care - 1, 2, 3, 4
World Geography, and History - 1, 2, 3, 4

Lunch

Students can choose from three of the following:

Pokemon Mythology - 1, 2, 3, 4

Dress Code

On school days, students are required to wear their school uniform. Each student has three of each item on hand unless they asked to purchase more.



Dress Code:

All students wear their designated outfits, as well as a pin that they can wear either on the tie, or on their sweater/jacket.

Students are allowed one personal accessory to wear with their uniform so long as it does not break the school's code of conduct (no sexual imagery, no explicit language, no defamatory or derogatory images/language)

She is an amazing Pokemon battler, and was said to have been apart of a similar school when she was starting out.

He loves making puns, and tries to incorporate one into every class. His jokes are often off-beat, and many of his students just don't get them. He doesn't care though, and will laugh at his own jokes.

Here in Astronima she is less known, although her talent still commented on. She is fashionable, and fun, encouraging her students to step outside their comfort zones to try new ideas. Creative, curious, Prof. Evers is a teacher that all students hope to have for one topic or another.

Ice, and rock are her favourite types, and just like those elements, Prof. Katsyana is unyielding. She can be brutally honest with her students, and is not afraid to both criticize and praise when she sees fit. Many have noticed that she has eyes for Viktor, however that feeling will remain unrequited.

Battle Rules

Pokemon HP is ([Every 10th Level x 10] + lvl)

1 - 10 = 10 hp +lvl
11 - 20 = 20 hp +lvl

Example lvl 1 is 11hp, and lvl 9 is 19.

To decide which Pokemon strikes first, roll a D20.
Pokemon with the highest roll strikes first.

Attack, and defend (defending does not include the use of moves unless they are defensive in nature (light screen, etc). They can include dodging, and distracting actions.

Both Pokemon roll a D20, if the attacker rolls higher, they hit. If the defending Pokemon does they miss.

If anyone rolls a 1, they critically fail! (x2 damage if hit, or dodging Pokemon gets a +5 to their next attack roll).

If anyone rolls a 20, this is a critical hit! (x2 damage if hit, or dodging Pokemon gets a +5 to their next attack roll)

Roll a D10! Every time your pokemon gains a tenth level, add an extra die.

Level 20 - 29 = 2

Mega Evolution

Your character MUST be an experienced trainer in order to use Mega evolution.
You must have the appropriate stones.
Your character must have a long, and strong relationship with the Pokemon they are Mega evolving.
If you have questions, or are interested in using Mega Evolution please speak with a crew member first.

With Mega Evolution, the Pokemon gains +3 to ALL rolls
