A letter from the Desk of the Admiral of the Gaian Navy-
Over two year ago a new guild was created to help defend the newly founded community of Gaia came into being, it had been planted as a seed of patriotism among two that though they had already answered the call to defend their homeland felt that they could do more. The GN was founded on the principle of defending Gaia, and its people from all enemies foreign, and domestic. Its ideals like this that stay with us to this day, and despite the disbanding of that original rag tag group, the spirit has remained, and now the need has arisen again. Not to defend the newly founded community from the evils outside its borders, but this time to stand with our brothers and sisters in arms to defend what we have fought so hard to achieve.
We cannot achieve this Goal without You, the people of Gaia. From you our power radiates, you provides us with the Officers that command our vessels, you provides us through your labor the fuel we require, and it is you that give us the motivation to wake up every morning to defend those believes you stand for. Without you we are like a sword without its wielder, we will be your blade to be used with surgical precision or as blunt as the flat of the blade. We intend to fulfill our purpose to the best of our ability where ever it may take us. Use us wisely and We will not rust for lack of motivation, we will not tarnish from corruption of our spirit, and we will not be stained from the blood of the innocent.
I will be blunt about those who are accepted into this Family. Life is hard, Military life doubly so, you will be held fully accountable for your conduct, and actions while under my command. If you joined to have a comfy couch position I do believe you reconsider your reasons for joining. I am not a rough man, nor am one to hound someone for minor infractions however I am resolute in my mission as the Admiral of the Gaian Navy, and I will not allow loafers to get in my way. Gentlemen, I will trim that which does not bear fruit, and strike down anything that would be a stumbling stone. Anyone who does not understand that position should again consider why they have joined the Gaian Navy. That said those of you with the intestinal fortitude to understand the love of ones country enough to give your life for it I invite you to step forward into this family of Patriots. Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, and Fathers we are all here with a purpose, and we will see each other through no matter what.
