Just as a warning to everyone, it looks like our not-so-lovable "goddess" is back under a new name. I don't know yet if she's up to her old mischief but she's been posting a few things in Site Feedback over the last week or two. So as a friendly reminder, please be careful when buying kin or accepting them as gifts from users that you don't know or otherwise recognize. And if your trading pass is suddenly locked without warning, she might be the reason why. Just be patient and it should be unlocked relatively soon. (We hope. I know there are still people locked out from the last round.)
For those of you unfamiliar with this "goddess," well, to keep it brief, she's a user who was somehow exploiting/botting the game and using her ill-gotten gold to purchase many high-priced kin. Some of these she trashed. (Crimson Ember was one of them.) Others she gifted or sold. Anyone who bought or received a kin from her had their trading passes locked for anywhere from a few days to a few months. It was bad. She's come back a couple of times since that first go-round. The staff are usually pretty good about shutting her down quickly, but she just makes a new account and comes back a little while later. Solid fun, right?
