Alice Ramsy [ Outfit: Light Armor + Daggers ]


Alice had taken Cynthia a bit out of the way to the landlord's house, needing to actually buy this location first. She had seen it up for sale a few weeks ago and considered buying the property, it was far from town but she could leap her way to the tower with little concern of property damage. Nearby a river enough that she could hear the street from the area and smell the nature around her. Being by the outskirts, she could even start a small farm.

She unlocked the door for the first time, never looking at it's interior before. Alice activated the light crystals, getting her first glance at the house she bought. "Well, this is your new home until you're clean." And we've caught Manami, she thought to herself. Being close to the forest, where she saw the girl run off to last, they had a high chance she would come here to get Cynthia. Alice didn't want the girl to be used as bait, but it would work.

"I'm taking the next week off work too." Alice told her as she began removing her armor. "I've been wanting to quit drinking anyway. Really hard to do that when there's so much alcohol at the barracks, figured best time as ever if we help each other." She laid her armor down on the nearby table, the house furnished already. "We're addiction buddies now-- oh, and uh, my name is Alice Ramsy, you're Cynthia right? Is there any names you go by? Cindy maybe?"

Alice frowned, knowing the girl went through some hard times with Manami. "I'm sorry." She said to her, not because of what she called her. Because she knew that she was using her to lure in Manami, and that she could died because Alice wanted to protect Nora. Alice wouldn't tell her, she felt sorry for the girl. "How about.. Thia? It has a nice ring to it." Alice looked around the cabin, to try and get a feeling of the place. Not knowing where anything was.

She had been trying to quit drinking for two years now, and knew most of the early symptoms for withdrawal. Although not entirely sure if it applied to Cynthia. "You might start throwing up soon, and well.. it won't be easy." Warned Alice, finding the bathroom. "I need to take a shower, if you need to vomit just come in." She said walking into the bathroom and hopping into the tub after undressing. It wasn't like she was uncomfortable with the girl after what she went through. Seeing a naked woman bathe wouldn't bother a drug addict who needed to vomit.

Turning the water on, she laid back and rested her eyes. Her muscles were sore, having ripped some from putting in too much strength to kill Chloe. A dragon's skull had to be one of the hardest things to break into, her new mythril sword now laid down besides her chipped along it's blade.

Alice came out of the bath an hour later, noticing they had no clothes or food. She felt uneasy leaving Cynthia alone, seeing her sleeping soundly on the couch. Alice scooped her up, and took her upstairs to the bedroom, gently placing her on one of the beds, and pulling the covers over her. The girl was so young, younger than Nora even. To think all of the things Manami did to her...

She stayed up most of the night, pacing back and forth as she felt like running back to town for a drink, she hadn't had one all day and started to get a bit antsy. When the sun came up, she decided to leave for a moment to pick up al she could from the guard tower. While she was there, she took a few days off and put the second-in-command in charge for the next week. Alice picked up a week's worth of food, and blood for the girl.

Alice came back to the house intact, seeing no signs of Manami, and put everything away. She found the time to pick up some clothes around the girl's size. Finally changing, she put on a bikini and a hoodie; wearing just underwear felt and looked weird, but somehow a bikini was always fine. Alice went upstairs, and went to bed almost immediately.

Alice woke up late at night, feeling awful. She was sweaty and had a restless sleep, but at least had one. She sat up, wondering if Cynthia was still there or decided to run. Looking over to the bed next to hers.

Alice figured she left, and walked down the stairs of her new home. Seeing the girl in the bathroom from the corner of her eye. She felt sweaty and tired, but only had cravings so far. The worst part she knew would come later being a heavy drinker, still she had planned for this for the past few days and started lowering the amount she took. She had an uncle who died of suddenly stopping to drink, one her family wasn't close to.

Alice approached the girl, slowly opening the door and saying the name she gave her last night. "Thia?" For her to know it couldn't be Manami. "Hey, I bought you some blood, I didn't know what kind you liked but it's a lot, and from a lot of different.. animals." She winced having to carry jars of blood she kept cool on magic ice. Alice didn't like the thought of eating cooked meat, let alone blood. But Cynthia was a vampire, she could tell by the glow in her eyes, it was all she could eat.

"No offense." Alice said as she walked over to the main room, sitting on one of the armchairs. "But you look like s**t." The girl in front of her looked like she hadn't eaten in a week, and look sickly thin. "You're not really a picture of perfect health.. you look too thin, let me get you some it might make you feel better." She said standing back, her body feeling very sore from last night. "I've never uh, gotten anyone blood, do you take it chilled or.. warm..?" She shuddered thinking of the idea of feeding someone blood.

"Well you can't keep using forever. It's not a good way to live." Alice said to her, talking to herself as she did too. Knowing the things Cynthia did for drugs though, she didn't seem the type to give up so soon. She looked around for a kitchen, not remembering where it was form how exhausted she felt the previous night. When she did find it, she looked into the blood jars she kept cool and asked Cynthia. "What uh, animal blood do you normally have...?" She asked, looking at the gallon of chicken blood. Must have been a lot of chickens.

Alice planned to sneak off tonight to search for Manami in the woods, maybe lead her towards them. But the way she felt, how nauseated and tired she was she wasn't sure how she could even walk around. Part of her wanted to go into town and have a drink, to feel better from her body going through withdrawal and sharpen her senses. If she did, she wouldn't be showing Cynthia a good example. The girl was so young!

Alice was glad the girl didn't say lamb, looking at the jars of lamb blood. The blood-boy insisted she take extras. "Alrighty." She said back to the girl, grabbing cow blood and starting a fire. Alice poured the blood into an iron pot and stayed by it. She could smell the blood cooking, shuddering as she thought of how many innocent animals had to die for a single vampire. Trying her best to not gag, she started dry heaving. Alice wasn't sure if it was the withdrawal or the blood, but either way her stomach was too empty to expel anything.

With the blood warmed, she poured it into a coffee mug and brought it to Cynthia, leaving the rest in the pot. "Here you are." Alice said, looking sickly at it before setting it down in front of her on the coffee table. Alice sat back down and stared the ceiling. Her mind full of concern for Nora. If Manami hid the dagger, even if they caught her Nora would always be that way. "So uh..." Let out Alice, not feeling like sitting here in silence. The more time she had to herself the more she felt like having a drink. Next to her was a small bookcase, with a few old children's stories, and some boardgames on the bottom. "Want to play a board game?"
