Reinik can I vote for myself? lol Heh. It's funny and, yet, still a valid question. Um. I'm going to go with... you can vote on any category that you didn't participate in. Just to make things fair and to avoid any potential pitfalls or arguments. So you can vote on the Hogwarts shields but not the big shields, although you will still get your raffle entry for that partial vote.
