If you could design a splicing shard like the Glowing or Fafnir shards, what would it be? Would it be for a specific color palette? A specific type of kin? Would it be seasonal (i.e., it could be multiple colors or multiple kin but it would match that season)? Or would it be a different kind of theme entirely?
If you have specific kin in mind for this shard, which would they be? (Shards have thus far had 6-9 kin so let's keep it in that range.)
Basically: talk to me about hypothetical shards. Mostly because I'm thinking about asking at ATS, while including examples, but also because I'm nosy. The nosy thing gets me in trouble. emotion_facepalm
Obligatory random question: Are squirrels highly intelligent criminal masterminds or just mischievous little forest creatures?

I kind of want a zombunny shard, so it would be all kinds of bunny or bunny-like kin in a zombie color palette. I'm thinking Grombie (even though it already is a zombie), Chuu Chuu the Bunny, Bunnykit, Cereus, Diedrich, Snobun, and maybe one of the Rangers (Kastra for the moon symbol?).
Zombunnies are my favorite part of Spring/Easter. emotion_zombie
I was just thinking about how much I'd love it if we got new shards! Mostly for the newest kins, like Creme Creme...One thing that popped up the moment I read your post was an inverting shard, like Creme Creme with red fur and a cream bow/ball rofl There could be another shard only for food related kins, which could even get a little re-pixelling, like Mikan having another fruit in its head xp And also one where the recolor had contrasting colors to the original kins, another inspired by the seasons, and maybe one with metallic schemes!!! The sky is the limit emotion_kirakira For your zombie shard I think Swamberry would work great! With some Potpurri pink as blood emotion_dowant EDIT: A shard for EVOLVING kins!!! I'd love that! And a "fashion" one, for kins with wearable items yum_puddi

Oh, yes, I saw! I was glad he thought they were good ideas, but seems like it'll hardly happen since they're so short staffed that a single recolor takes them forever to finish...I wonder how they did it two years ago when we had so many kins coming out emotion_facepalm
