Plots
Act 1: Party on Cruise Ship Sakura
This will be a meet and great for characters and a time to have some fun. All participants have received an invitation to come on board The Sakura to obtain their first Kindred.

Participants receive 1 Kindred for the rp (Not for the flash game)

A blowout party in celebration of the first kins goes all out, and a storm hits at night.
help me decide which Kin for each slot!

Fire wither status attacks;

Water for sleep;

Stone for paralyse;

Metal for confusion;

And Wood for poison.

Act 2
Trouble in Paradise
Survives land on an island and must try to survive the night there are wild kin around them and things look pretty bad as survivers are wet, hungry, dehydrated ect.
-hopefully this is where you build a community and base which will take time

Act3
-Terror Time
Ghost spliced kin terrorize the other kin on the island. All is calm but where did they come from? Were there experiments done on this island?!

I'm not good at making any form of battle system on my own.

EXP System created
1-3: 2 exp
4-7: 5 exp
8-12: 7 exp
13-18: 10 exp
19-25: 15 exp
26-34: 20 exp
35- 42: 25 exp
43-50: 30 exp
51-70: 35 exp
71+: 40 exp

So example Ideduce's Sakura goes from level one to level two. The exp needed resets to 0 so they need another 2 to get to level 3.

How to level up Kindred
* Must be in your party
* Must have done something in your post. They gain one exp per post.

HP
Level of Kindred * 10 to keep it simple. So a level 1 Kindred will have 10hp.

Speed
Kindred with the higher level goes first, in result of a tie each person rolls a dice.

Why a battle system?
You'll be fighting other keens to stay alive and you might be able to catch them!

Job System! Players can fight too!

Tailor - light armor for players, bedding ect for rp purposes
Jeweler - amulets for kin, rings (think ZOMG) for players (Or they buff)
Blacksmith - Heavy Armor
Star Seed Crafter - POKEBALL GO! I mean....Makes Star Balls to catch other kins
Alchemist - Creates Potions

yes the system might get a little complicated but with help I'm sure we can all make it work. Anyone want to help me out?

I love this idea! Especially the story and role-playing components of it. I'd be happy to help if I can~

Here are some questions you might like to consider:

  1. Do you want the kins to use MP for their skills? Will the kins be able to use basic attacks, basic magic attacks and special skills? Can they flee? (This could be relevant for status attacks and their effects.)

  2. Do you want the kins to have varying stat attributes, such as damage, accuracy and resist? (This could be relevant for attack rolls, amulets or amulet-crafting.)

  3. What can be used as crafting materials for the job system? Are there crafting recipes that players have to find/purchase from NPCs? Do you want players to be able to level up in the job system as well?

I have not really played Pokemon GO, but I love the idea of Star Balls too. For some reason, they remind me of Dragon Balls. Maybe the players have to use balls with more stars in order to capture wild kins that are more rare?

      This looks cute! I can't help much with the fighting/exp side of it (that was the hardest bit when I tried making my own LK role-play), but I can recommend the Kindred Elements Guide to help with your kin classification. It has an admittedly incomplete list of which kin are considered which elements. Unless you're making your own system, in which case... disregard.
