Hi, all! I thought we deserved a special in-house only contest (with prizes only available to you, our wonderful members) so... how about an avatar in a hat contest? Because, you know, I like simplicity. It really is as black-and-white as the title implies: just make me an original avatar wearing a fancy hat. Or a silly hat or a plain hat or a pirate hat or, really, any kind of hat at all. It can be male or female, paw or human (or humanoid). Anything works. There's no price limit, no required color pallete, no need to provide me with an item list.

Just show me an avatar with a hat (please post an image) and you'll have a chance at these great prizes:

1st: Tiamat the Hatchling (level 1)
2nd: Ember the Spirited Fox (level 1)
3rd: Elegant Chirpette (level 1)

One entry per person. Avatars must be your own original work. Edits can be made up until the contest ends. Entries must be submitted by May 4, 2018 at midnight, mountain time (utc- 6:00). Winners will be picked by me and announced the next day.
