I was updating my dad on the goings of my sims yesterday and how I managed to get one of them engaged.
My mom decided to interrupt me and go... "I know you like the sims a lot, but you do realize they're fake right?"
XD I know they're fake, but after you spend so much time taking care of them and making sure they're happy it's kind of different. ninja
It's like her and her necklaces, but she swears it's not the same. xd

i think my legacy family kind of ruined the sims for me. i used to be so attached and stuff... they'd just buy elixir of life after elixir of life... and they NEVER repaired the dishwasher. or ran with scissors. i didn't want them to go away. sad now... i just want them all to croak and move on with the next generation. gonk stupid legacy challenge...

Gah...I hope it doesn't do that for me. crying
In a way they're kind of like my babies.
Obviously not as important as my son though. xd My sims can't give me kisses like he can. They're still pretty hands on like a toddler though.

The sims can easily be killed off if they piss you off.
Actually I didn't really care about my sims until I started the legacy challenge. I used to be the I just prefer to build houses person. I'd spend hours just building a house and never go very far with the sim that I moved into it.

I cycle through my sims. I'd get bored with the one/family I was playing, make a new one, get bored, make a new one. . . lather, rinse, repeat.
But I always enjoy making houses for aaaaaall my sims to live in. CCC:

I want to get a super-better computer so I can run homecrafter and at least make awesome-neat floors and walls.
Okay, so, even if I did, they'd most likely be just simple, colored, and. . . very ihm.
BUT it will be that much more personalization. So I can get the exact color of blue carpets that I want. ;D
