Quote: Personal Raincloud (11) : It’s a beautiful, sunny day in Destiny City–for everyone but you. There’s not a cloud in the sky–except for yours. No matter where you go, a dark cloud seems to hover, casting shadows wherever you go. It’s been raining since you woke up today, and it’s like bad luck and bad weather just follows you. It’s a constant downpour, always exactly where you are. The raincloud is usually big enough to easily cover a full building, so if you stick around for too long, your misfortune will turn into someone else’s too. The raincloud might follow you for a few hours or for the whole day before slowly fading; there’s no escaping it, or the strange, sombre mood that seems to follow you. There was literally a cloud following Sabrina today, and she was both amused, and absolutely annoyed. She held an umbrella and peered over the edge of it, giving a soft, annoyed huff and shaking her head, waiting for the light to change at the crosswalk.
She knew it was following her because…well. To put it simply, there were no other clouds in the sky except this one, and no matter what she did, it didn’t go away.
Ducking into a back alley, she shook her umbrella off, glad that there was an awning covering the area so that she could just….not hold her arm up anymore. It was getting tired. Stupidly tired. And truth to tell, so was she.
Sabrina took a few steps backwards until she was against the building and rubbed at the bridge of her nose, She was nearly home. Nearly. Today had been actual s**t,and she was going to blame the cloud.
Pausing, she turned as something caught the light from one of the flood lamps, and Sabrina bent down to pick whatever it was up, it looked pretty, like a flower pin.
Of course. Just to put the icing on the cake of today, her entire outfit changed when she picked the damn thing up.
She should have known something bad would happen.

Necro growled quietly to himself as he ran his hand through his hair, before scratching the back of his neck. Nothing. Again.Though after so long, what was he expecting. how long had it been? A year? Two? With no contact from the other. Not even so much as a freaking glimpse of him. Yet here he was, again, scouring the city, looking for something. Anything. He knew better, mind you. If Celadonite wanted to be found, he would have found Necro. That's how it always worked. So why he was out here, thinking he could change that, was anyone's guess. A twinge on the edge of his senses, caught his attention, distracting him from his mood. Close by... Maybe??? Necro took off in its direction. He should have known better, though to get what little hopes he had up. "Ah..." He said, as he arrived and his gaze fell upon the new Page. He shoulda known. Definitely not what he was looking for. "....Great."

The raincloud continued to dump on her head, and she looked up at the strangely dressed newcomer with a scowl. Not that a scowl was an uncommon expression for Sabrina just. “Great? I’m not sure what you mean by that. Who are you? Why is it not raining on you, and what am I wearing…what are you wearing?”
Those were the most pertinent questions that she could think of at the moment, though more would follow she was sure. For now though, she glared at the purple clad male in front of her.
“And why does what you’re wearing match the color of what I’m wearing. Please tell me this isn’t some dating scheme, because I assure you, I am anything but interested.”

Necro met her scowl with one of his own before sighing and rubbing at his face. This was no way to go about this. His problems were not this girls fault. There's no reason to be mad at her. "Nevermind that... I don't know why its not raining on me. I would love to know why it is raining on you however, but one problem at a time. What we are wearing is our uniform. I am Necromanteion, Squire of Saturn. And yo-" He paused when what she said finally clicked. Wow. Rude much? Maybe he had every right to be mad at her, even if things weren't her fault. "First of all. Wow, uncalled for. Just cause someone's clearly raining on your parade, doesn't mean you get to be an a*****e to me. Second. The feelings mutual. I'm not into the whole drowned rat aesthetic." He crossed his arms, taking in her appearance. "Anyway, as I was saying... You appear to be a newly awoken Page of Saturn. And my newest problem. Fantastic."

Okay. There was a lot going on in that statement, in those statements, and she scowled, wiping at her face, and finally just taking her glasses off. They were covered in water drops and it just…wasn’t worth it.
This damn dress didn’t have pockets either so she just sighed and held them, her arm stiffly at her side.
“I’m not sure about half of what you said. Why are you referencing the planet Saturn so much?” She wiped her face again, spitting some water out and then glared up at the damn cloud. This was idiotic.
“I doubt very much that I will ever be your problem, however. Nor do you need to take any responsibility for me, but I do require elaboration.”

"Gee. I wonder why I could be referring to Saturn so much." He said flatly, pointing to various Saturn symbols on both of their uniforms before sighing. "Lemme see." He said, before taking her glasses and gingerly wiping them off as softly as he could so that he hopefully didn't scratch the glass too much. "Do you need them to see, or can you go without them? I can put them in a pocket so they dry off if so." Maybe he should consider carrying around a handkerchief, just in case. "Unfortunately you kinda are. What is even worse is I have less faith in myself in explaining this then you do in me already, believe it or not." Of all the people she had to stumble across, she got him. It figured. Necro made a face as he inspected the glasses. He'd pay for new ones if need be. "Firs things first, unfortunately, the only answer I have towards... this,-" The Squire waved a hand at the cloud, though it did little change the outcome. "Is... That honestly I don't have one. s**t like this just... happens.. in Destiny City. It sucks, it's annoying, but you learn to live with it. Unfortunately. As for you... That is something a bit different."

“So.” Trier squinted slightly, trying to keep her vision as good as she could sans her glasses, but. She simply ignored the question of if she needed to use them to see, because…who would wear glasses for fun? It was a stupid question and didn’t deserve an answer.
“You’re saying that the two things are not mutually related? That the one didn’t cause the other? The…personal raincloud is just…a product of the city? I know this place is mostly trash, but this is new for me.” She ignored his attitude and pointing to the strange ‘h’ symbols. They meant nothing. Why would she ever think of Saturn in relation to this?
“What is that something then? And–” Okay, so she couldn’t quite hold back the snark. “Enlighten me on how these h’s pertain to Saturn? I honestly don’t understand what you’re talking about.”

Ach... Okay that wasn't working entirely. "Correct." Necro said, as he removed his jacket and offered it to her. Hopefully it was heavy enough to keep the water outta her eyes long enough for them to accomplish something... Even if she had to hold it over her head. "Uhm... But... also incorrect? Like... both involve the same... thing.. But the reasons behind it are vastly different?" Probably. He blinked at her, slightly stunned. "... Did you never have an astronomy phase as a kid? Huh... I thought everyone did." Not that he could say much. "The little h's are the planets... symbol, basically. Don't ask me why they chose an h. I couldn't tell you that. Your guess would be as good as mine." He sighed, pausing to think. She really needed a better teacher then him. "Would you believe me if I told you it was honestly all magic?"

Taking the jacket, Trier gave a small nod of thanks and held it above her head, pleased that it did manage to stop the rain for now. It would get soaked through soon enough though and then it would stop being useful but…
“No, I can’t say that I did. I’m sure one of my siblings did though. Maybe the youngest. They seem the type. Head always in the clouds, you know.” Maybe he didn’t know, but still. “So…something with Magic. Something with Saturn. Magical…raincloud? Is that what you’re trying to explain?”
The dress was pretty at least…so if it was magic…perhaps she got something good.
“What does that have to do with me though? I didn’t make any demonic pacts or wishes.”

"Huh... I thought everyone had that phase..." Hell, even he had looked into the planets a little bit after leaving the Negaverse. "Again.. Kinda. The raincloud, and your outfit, are both caused by magic. The raincloud... I can't really explain outside of Welcome to Destiny City... It does random bullshit like this, you learn to get use to it." The Squire gave a light shrug. "Believe me when I say that honestly? That's one of the tamest things I've seen..." It could have been so much worse. "Your outfit though... While magic, it was caused by... Ah. Did you happen to find anything? You touched it, or picked it up and then, this?" He asked, waving a hand at her dress. "Your dress has to do with that. It doesn't really... involve demonic packs or wishes. It just kinda... Chooses you." There were things that involved pacts... But she didn't need to know that. Yet.

Trier paused and held her hand out, the pin that she had picked up laying flat in it. “I picked this up. You’re saying that…this was the demonic pact that I unknowingly signed?” It was such a pretty pin too, a flower, that matched those on her skirt, what an innocent, boring item to have opened a pathway of magic.
“But why would it ever choose me? I’m. Boring. There’s nothing about me that would ever scream for the need or want of magic. Is there someone to speak to if you think that there has been a mistake?”
Because honestly? She would go Karen on them. Especially for the cloud, if that was something she could do.

".... It's not a demon pact, and you didn't sign anything..." But whatever helps her feel better he guessed. Necro shrugged. "Have you considered that maybe it sees something in you that you don't see in yourself yet? That is often the case with these sorts of things." The Squire looked at the pin for a minute before turning his gaze back to the girl. "It... does get better. Sure it has its moments where you wonder, why you, but.. It's not all that bad." Well, aside from the cloud. He wished he knew how to make that go away. "There are other people, who have spent more time in all this then I have. You'll meet them as you go. They'd probably be able to answer some of your questions better then I could."

“How? Where will I find these mythical people? Will they all just. Run into me as you did? How do I even…do this again. By choice, I mean.”
Trier shook her head, droplets of water escaping. “I think very highly of myself, thank you. Most of the time at least. How does it get better? Can we speak…somewhere more dry? Your jacket has begun to leak…”
Hopefully…this raincloud would be merciful and not go inside of a building with her…but if it was magic…
Maybe she was cursed as well as…chosen?
A frightening thought.

"Is it always five hundred questions with you or...." He said flatly. "You will quite literally run into some of them, yes. Hell, you probably know some already and don't realize it. There is the whole... ya know, secret identity bit. But, I also have a couple friends I could introduce you too if you want." Necro made a face as droplets few off. Ugh... He really hoped that would end soon for her. "Would you hold it against me if I said it's by will? Like... You just imagine it, and it happens. It's the same thing as powering down. You would just... imagine your close prior to the change and bam. Done. However, on that note. Don't do it in overly crowded places... never know whose around." Glancing at the cloud he made another face. "Yeah sorry... I thought it would hold out a little longer. Guess not. Let's see if we can find something to deter the cloud, at least a little bit. Hopefully it disappears soon. The cities random bullshit like this never seems to last more then a couple hours.."

“Wouldn’t you have five hundred questions if this was how your day was going? It’s a lot to take in and I’m trying to process.” She didn’t mean to sound as annoyed as she did but…there was a lot going on, thank you very much.
“I appreciate the use of the jacket, it’s not your fault that the cloud simply chose me to be the base of the waterfall. But.”
Drawing in a breath, Trier attempted to concentrate, and a few moments later Sabrina stood there, just as damp and bedraggled as Trier was. “I think. I’ll go home for now but. Will I be able to call on you if I have more questions?”
…Not that she thought she would but. It seemed a normal question to ask anyway. If he didn’t want to answer her questions, she would simply not ask anymore.
