It hasn't really kept much out since I think the Silver Millenium?? It was in pretty bad disrepair when I first was called to it, and it's not really gotten... better. Most of the senshi and knights that protect it are either missing, retired or dead at this point. I think there's... maybe two of us Chronos knights still sort of active? :'(

The Bifrost is kinda like a bridge, but also a bit more than that these days? It's primary function is to act as a short cut across the Surrounding, but it also sort of changes as its knight needs. So there's a small apartment that can be summoned, and there's the 'center' of the Bifrost where the Code Piece lives.
