All the Wrong Places (11) : Your GPS keeps glitching. It doesn’t matter what app you use. It doesn’t matter if you walk, drive, or bike. You’ll be given the correct address, but the directions always take you somewhere else–somewhere you don’t want to be. No matter what address you type in, the directions always take you to the same place–and it isn’t even always obvious that’s where you’re headed until you arrive there. Again, and again, and again. You don’t want to be here. But something does.
Lacaille hadn't realized yet that she was lost, she thought she knew where she was going. So she hadn't looked at directions on her phone yet, as she moved through an older part of the city where she was looking for a bookshop where she wanted to buy some new books. During the spooky season it was easier to wander around powered up without anyone thinking anything of it, since the city was already rather weird. She was a bit confused since she thought she should have already gotten to the book shop and she realized she wasn't but she didn't understand why.
