So far, Bellerophon had run into fiery newt things that were basically traveling lava, gargoyles, and rats that decided that chewing on everything was a great idea.
So his hope that all of the strange stuff was now behind him was dashed when he had decided to go out and drain energy again. No more being in the quieter parts of town, it was time to go into the livelier areas to try and drain energy from them.
Or what he thought was more lively. Usually the downtown district had people out and about. But when he stepped in what he thought was a regular web, he realized why people were staying away from this area, as soon as he attempted to pull his boot up, it was like it had been stuck in concrete or sand. He could barely move it! And it seemed to get worse the more he struggled!
"No why..." He muttered to himself, too annoyed to think about powering down for a moment or using his magic to get rid of the threads.
