Welcome to the 2066 Winter Festival!

We invite you to celebrate the holidays and the arrival of the new year with us. There is a semi-formal dance in the Great Hall, ice skating and carriage rides located just outside, and the antechamber hosts some fun winter activities.

This event is hosted by the Head Students, Alice McNamara & Kasamir Patrovna, with help from the 2066-2067 Prefect team.

The Great Hall has been adorned with ice and snow, plus several beautifully decorated Christmas trees. There are snack tables scattered about, but most of the hall is cleared out for the dance. Festive music is playing and there are no strict dress codes in play. Join in and have a lovely night!

In the space between the main entrance and the gardens, an open-air skate rink has been set up, all adorned with lights. Professor Liu will help transfigure your winter boots into skates for a while so you can zoom around and enjoy the ice! If you need help, don't forget to ask before you slip and fall! (Otherwise, Healer Kavanagh is nearby, just in case!)

Starting at the Entrance Courtyard, a few of the carriages have been converted into beautiful (and romantic!) winter carriages. Take a scenic ride around the grounds where you can see the lights all adorned around the castle, gardens, and near the skating rink. Enjoy yourself with a nice mug of cocoa and a cozy scarf as the snow dances all around!

The Great Hall Antechamber has been converted into a fun winter workshop. Spend a moment decorating ornaments or building gingerbread houses with parts made and set up for ease of building. Anything you make can be kept as keepsakes or gifts. Have fun and enjoy showcasing your creativity!
