Trier hadn’t been…pleased to hear from her…mentor? Fellow Knight? Whatever he was, but she had gone out to meet him, wanting to at least have another conversation and perhaps learn more now that she wasn’t being followed by her own personal stormcloud.
It wasn’t difficult to become Trier, which was good, she supposed, and honestly…she liked the look. Very goth and witchy…it fit the time of year, which was also nice.
She arrived at the location that Ahri had texted and sat on a bench, idly playing with her pin, the cause of all of this. It was…puny, and she wasn’t sure how it was supposed to protect her, or help her protect herself…she supposed she could stab someone if they got close enough, but a literal pinprick wouldn’t…really do anything…
With a sigh, she unpinned and repined the brooch and looked around idly, waiting for this to get started.

"You know." He said dully, approaching the tiny girl. "If it makes you feel any better about the pin. My starting weapon was one of my fangs."
He'd seen worse. ... Or at least, heard, about worse.
"You could have gotten worse. At least its not like... a key... or a stick. Imagine how scary you woulda been with those." He waved his hand and summoned his own weapon. "It'll be fun to see what that turns into."
Ah the beauty of magic. It was anyone's guess.

“One of your…fangs?”
Trier squinted at the Squire, confused, concerned and just…bewildered. “What, are you a vampire or something, and you withheld that information last time?” It didn’t seem…too far fetched but. If he was a vampire…that seemed like information that should have been shared.
“Do you…have people gotten sticks? How does that work? Are all sticks just…magic waiting to happen? Waiting for the right person to pick them up? What good…will this even do…what…”
Her eyes lingered on the bow that he pulled out of thin air. “What good does your fancy bow there do? I don’t see any arrows…”

"Hmm? Oh yeah. Im not sure which one it was but... Who knows. Could have been a claw, or onna the spikes on my back. But I'm pretty sure it was a fang." He shrugged.
"A vampire would have been both leagues cooler and way less spookier then what I actually was so I might just let you use your imagination." Again, he shrugged. "I had one friend who got... what was it, throwing knives? Another got a dodgeball as their starting weapon so. Anyone's guess. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if your little pin there turned into something like a rapier. Or... a pointy sword. I don't know. I did mention this s**t's all magic right?"
He was so insanely over this. There was not enough sleep in his system for this.
"...How badly do you wanna find out?"

Was he…drunk? Was that what was going on right now? Trier frowned and shook her head slightly. “...Are you drunk?” Okay, so the thought didn’t stay quietly in her head which…was fine to be honest. But he wasn’t making much sense, though.
“I suppose I’d like to. It would be good for research. So, if you can show me, do so?”
But still…if he was drunk, why on earth did he ask her out here for a chat?
“If you’re drunk, are you just lonely? Is there something I can do to help?” Not that she would be any good at it, but that was the recommended response, she supposed.

"Unfortunately not. I'm just not giving you complete answers." Necro said. "Stuff I ain't told you, and all that. Or, and here's a thought, maybe you're not asking the right questions. I did tell you I started out a little differently from you didn't I?"
The Squire eyed her for a moment. "If I showed you, you can't complain about it like you did the cloud. You're literally asking for this, you know." With a sigh, Necro took aim and shot at her. "So... What have you learned in your very short time since all this started up?"
Orangeish Sherbert
Magic: Necromanteion draws his bow and fires what appears to be an arrow made of shadows. If struck, the intended target is wrapped in black and blue flames that absorbs the other's energy, leaving them feeling cold. The more they struggle within the bindings, the faster their energy levels drop. The flames are cold to the tough, rather than warm and smell of hot metal and sulfur. When Necro dismisses the magic the energy is returned to the owner slowly. Necromanteion has a magic pool of 35 seconds. With a Range of 8ft.

What had she learned? Trier opened her mouth to try and answer, to perhaps make a snarky comment about him truly being drunk, but then…he hit her with an arrow…? And there was fire.
It wrapped around her and she stiffened, going very still, fear in her eyes.
“Are you crazy?” The words came out as a hiss and she tried to pull away, tried to get out of the fire. Why didn’t she have a personal raincloud now, when it was useful. “Are you trying to burn me alive? Asking what I’ve learned. You must be drunk. Or crazy, or you’re having some kind of a crisis and attacking people? How is this any help what so ever?”
The more she struggled, the more…tired she seemed to get, which…was odd. Was it panic? Fading adrenaline? She wasn’t sure, but she didn’t like it one bit.

"Nope!" He said, wagging a finger. "You asked what mine does. I told you, you don't get to complain about it this time."
He sat, just enough away that he was out of the magic's range. "I'm not crazy, and again, I'm not drunk. Lonely? Sure. Absolutely even. Depressed is also an answer. Not crazy or drunk though. As for how is it helpful.. You tell me, you said it would be good for research didn't you? Now, as backwards as this sounds, would you calm down. You are not on fire, despite what it seems. I promise you, you're not in any immediate danger."
He stared at the fire for a moment before looking back at her. "I went through something similar you know. On my first day as a Page. I was meeting with a friend, when one of their friends got spooked by me and used their weapon and its magic on me. I got shot with an arrow, and was pinned down by his magic. I got pinned to the ground by some rather unpleasant skeleton hands and saw some even worse visions. I'd like to think my magic is a bit tamer then his. Would imagine the scare factor is up there with his though."

“I didn’t realize there would be fire.” Trier said, trying to sound dry, to sound tough, but there was a slight tremor in her voice that she couldn’t hide.
When the flames finally vanished, she stifled a yawn, shaking her head. “You could have warned me that. It was going to be like that. Will…”
She hesitated and looked down at her pin again. “...Can I do that? Make fire or…skeleton hands? Is that something I should be working on?” It would…make life easier, and make her feel quite a bit more safe…if things…were bad enough that she was supposed to have actual magic...well. She wanted to know how to use it. “How do I make mine work?”
Honestly, she would love to give him a taste of the fear that she had just felt…but.
“...What has you depressed?” The word alone had her older sister powers activating, and the look she gave him was one of worry and nothing else.

"I mean, to be fair, if I had warned you, you wouldn't have believed me anyway." Necro stood then, shrugging off his jacket and offering it to her once again. The warmth would return eventually, until then maybe it would take the edge off.
"Right now? No. What you've got is what you get. You won't really get any magic of the sort till you've gotten a bit stronger. And even then, your magic could be totally different then mine is. Just as my magic is different from the one who shot me." He sat down again, closer this time. "So your plans for revenge are gonna hafta wait. Not that you could scare me like that anyway. Been there done that... Multiple times. Not fun might I add."
Necro snorted, making a face. Oh so now she wanted to talk. "Scared a friend. Or I pissed him off. I don't know. It's...."
Complicated.

Trier shook her head at his offer of the jacket, still watching him with concern. “I’m not cold, but thank you. It’s…quite rude that they make us so vulnerable at first. How am I supposed to defend myself with a pin. That’s…asking a lot of us…but.”
She hesitated. “You’re safe, right? You’re not in any danger? Or like…in danger from yourself?”
She had dealt with that enough from her brother, and she wasn’t about to ignore warning signs just because she was jealous that she didn’t have magic, that was…stupid and just not who she was.
“...I’m sorry that happened. Will you be able to fix things? I hope you’ll be able to fix things.”

"You have no magic, and barely a weapon, but that doesn't make you vulnerable. Learn to fight, learn your surroundings. If you can, do patrols in groups. I don't know about you, but when I started, I had friends, who are also involved in this, I would tell them when I was going out. If too much time passed, they knew to start looking for me. You may be alone right now, but that doesn't entirely make you defenseless. You're a smart girl, I'm sure you could easily talk your way out of a problem better then I could, or have done."
Necro stared at her for a moment, confused, before he realized what she meant. "Oh yeah. No. I'm no.. uh.. Issue. To myself. Not like that anyway. I just get... more miserable and sleep more? If that makes any sort of sense. But I've got some friends that kinda... keep an eye on me and will usually jump in if I get that bad. I also try to do things that distract me from dwelling on things? Doesn't always work though." He shrugged, fidgeting with the sleeve of his jacket.
"I don't... know honestly. I want to? He's my friend after all. I'm just... worried, I guess. He's been through a lot. Like... a lot a lot. In a similar way I have. I just don't know if I can... Or at least, I don't know how to show him that I want to help, and I'm not just another person out to hurt him. I don't want to scare or hurt him anymore then I already have."

Trier hummed, but didn’t keep commenting on the weapon or the lack of magic. This was more important. He wasn’t wrong, she could handle herself, she was sure but…complaining always did feel good.
She hesitated a moment and crossed the distance between them, placing a light hand on his shoulder. “I’m sure things will be fine. Get your sleep. Don’t use your magic on him, nobody likes to be on fire…but. Other than all of that…I can’t see why anyone wouldn’t want to be friends with you. If he’s freaking out…just be kind to him. If he’s had issues, which…I can’t imagine people being involved in all of this and not having issues…just be there. Be gentle, and I’m sure things will go well. I’m sure of it.”
Shrugging, Trier gave a small smile. “You’re not so bad. Seriously, and I’m sure that your friend will know it too.”

Necro snorted. "I feel like I need like, a bijillion naps. You probably one too after today huh?" He didn't even want to think about using his magic on Celadonite. "I told you... You weren't actually on fire. If you touch em, they're cold. You don't actually get burned. That's why I offered the jacket." Thinking back on it, maybe she was right... His magic did drain peoples energy... That was kinda like a vampire right?
Maybe?
"You quite literally wanted nothing to do with me when we met." He pointed out, looking at her. "Did you want to be my friend back then?" Necro sighed.. "I know.. It just... It all sucks."

“I was also walking under my personal raincloud and was utterly confused by literally everything that was going on. I had a right to be unhappy and snippy. But. I’m glad that you wanted to keep contact and that we were able to talk. I suppose…we should leave now and both of us get some rest but…”
Gently, she squeezed his shoulder again. “Just be yourself when you see him. You’re a nice person, and I’m sure he’ll see that. Get in touch when you see him again so I can know how it goes?”
She hoped he would, but if he didn’t…she had his number. She could just get in touch first.
“Go get rest, Necro. I’ll see you soon, I hope.” It wasn’t a lie. She did hope. It really would suck, doing this alone.
