Borax found it easy to reply to the requests of his underlings. As much as he would rather not be at the beck and call of others, it implied the kind of power he held and the power he'd wish to hold. Once he had been named as the replacement team lead for Faustite, that desire for power only grew more solid and manipulatable, and this was a moment he could call on it.

Feel it.

Thulite went from a park bench to Borax's office in Negaspace, decked out with all the items that called him powerful and smart. He, himself, sat himself behind a wooden desk in a leather chair that looked as luxurious as it felt to sit in.

He gestured toward the tea set against the wall.

"Make yourself at home. What seems to be going on?"

He would also need to ask how Thulite was adjusting to her new power, but like Tincalconite, he did give her a bit of leeway. Their life outside of the power of Chaos was certainly busy as well.

In due time.

"You get used to it," replied Borax, easily, because it was true. He had gotten used to being summoned, as much as being interrupted had irritated him. The power behind that kind of summoning was enough to make him desire it perhaps more than ever before.

And now he was here.

And still he yearned for more, impossibly more, and perhaps the seeming demotion of Faustite might offer an opportunity of its own-

"There's hot chocolate and coffee over there, too," Borax shrugged, "just tend to default to tea. Was one of my boss's favourites." And still seemed to be, but he hadn't dug too deeply into the new specifics that had been developed through his infatuation with his boy. But perhaps that wasn't the most important part. She had run into an alien.

"Hilariously," Borax crossed one leg over the other, "while they used to tell us that the White Moon were some intruders from another planet, that's not true. Well, until recently. You ran into an alien."

Borax didn't quite know the exact details of when they started showing up, but he could pinpoint some loose and concrete timelines from his research in the Negaverse databases. It was definitely linked to the Velencian debacle-

"She probably thought it was legitimately tasty. Did you figure anything else about her, other than weak? Perhaps I can walk you through making a database entry."
