Snowy Sneezes: (7) : Small custom shops and stalls always seem to open up this time of year, and Destiny City has no shortage this year. Several seasonal themed shops have already received raving reviews, and among them is a small cafe. Outside it looks like a cute vintage cafe, but inside, the shop has been decorated so convincingly that you feel like you've just stepped into a snowy northern forest. They have an array of delicious, cold drinks, and the trip would be worthwhile for that alone--except, shortly after the first sip, anyone who has ingested the drink will find that they sneeze a flurry of tiny snowflakes. The more drinks consumed, the longer you will find you are sneezing little snowflakes. It feels like there is a tickle up your nose for an hour or longer, depending on player choice; drinking more can also lead to longer effects. There are no negative impacts--just the need to sneeze often, and a little burst of cold snowflakes along with each one. Surprisingly, the shop still doesn't have any bad reviews.
Alice had heard about a new place in town, it was a small cafe that had opened for the season. She was fairly excited about it as it sounded as if they were made for the season from what the word was. She decided to dress in her best wintry cosplay for the shop. After all, why would she not?
She had decided tonight was a good night for her version of the snow witch from the lion, the witch and the wardrobe. She nestled into the snow white fur of the shawl she'd made and adjusted the crown that was made of different twigs and branches.
She had opted for white boots that had thick soles on them instead of the traditional heels that she saw the witch being depicted wearing. No one in their right mind would wear heels in snow - granted she paused thinking about her squire outfit. To be fair no one in their right mind would wear anything like that in this weather either but alas she at least didn't freeze when she was powered up. Alice was thankful for that.
She stepped foot into the cafe looking around excited. It was just as she'd seen described. She made small excited hops as she looked around at how everything screamed northern forest. It could have been Narnia in the winter months and it left the cosplayer excited.
She moved to the counter to order one of their drinks and shortly after find a place to sit. She was glad she had her selfie stick as she took pictures, her makeup she'd done had sparkles on her cheeks to make it look as if she had a pale, icy complexion.
It was beyond was she expected and she took a few quick selfies before taking a sip of her drink. She'd gotten the frozen hot chocolate with marshmellows stirred in. Which why anyone would serve cold and frozen drinks in a setting like this was beyond her. "Oh if only I had some Turkish Delight that would make this beyond amazing."
There was a wistful sigh from Alice as she took another sip of her drink before suddenly she felt an itch. She wiggled her nose and made a face before suddenly "-A... Ah.... Ah-choo!" She sneezed trying to cover her sneeze the best she could there was a momentary pause afterwords and she saw the snowflakes. There was a long pause before she made an excited squeal.
This for normal people would probably be of concern - sneezing snowflakes. That wasn't a normal thing. But not for Alice. She was excited, and embraced it. Granted she didn't want to keep sneezing uncontrollably but the fact that she sneezed and snowflakes formed was an ironically perfect moment to her. After alll she couldn't have picked a better cosplay.
Alice finished her drink and eventually wondered back out into the cold, she was curious was other shops had popped up and since she was dressed up she figured why not meander through and see if maybe she could find a shop that offered turkish delight. After all it'd be a perfect ending to a weird day out right?
