Being Useful - Strike enjoys being useful in general to people and will often spend his time learning new things for the purpose of being useful to others. For this reason, he reads a lot, looking up articles on the internet or books on how to do whatever one might ask him to do if he doesn't think he already knows how to proficiently do it. Being useful is one of his greatest joys because it's the main way he feels like his existence can be validated. Without that validation, he is very insecure about being a waste of space and not having a purpose in life, so being useful is very vital to him and he will do everything he can to be useful however he can to anyone.

Housekeeping - Cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, organizing - Strike enjoys doing house chores because it began as one of the easiest and simplest ways to please his parents and there are almost always chores to be done around the house. He's also very good at housekeeping and it's become so much of a hobby of his and a pastime that takes up so much of his free time that his parents worry, especially because his mother in particular has other things she would like him to practice more and spend more of his time on to be better at, but Strike has come to actually have fun doing house chores more than almost any other way to be useful because even if he can accidentally mess up trying to be useful to someone in some way or another, he finds that it's difficult to mess up doing house chores for people for the most part and most people are pleased by his doing them.

Running - Whenever one sees Strike, he will likely be running to or from somewhere and for a specific purpose; he doesn't really run just for the sake of running. He runs errands for people and it's a hobby his parents approve of because it keeps him active and fit. He's become very athletic doing it and has built up lean muscles always running to and fro while keeping busy. He is also quite fast and knows skills such as running for endurance versus running for speed and how to pace himself. As with his other hobbies, Strike enjoys running the most when he can use it as a means to assist someone else and be of use to them.

Virtues:
Cheerful Strike is very cheerful and almost always in a good mood; or at least gives the outward appearance of being so. He has a playful nature with a good sense of humor that keeps him in good spirits regardless of most situations. He's also very good at staying optimistic and looking at the bright side of things, lending an ear to those who need it and cheering people up as best he can when they're feeling down.

Sociable - This young man is extremely extroverted and outgoing, spending time with others as much as possible and feeling lonely and bored easily when he is not. He is quite attentive to others and will go out of his way to talk to people who are quiet or seem introverted or left out in order to help include them in a conversation or group. He loves being around other people especially because he can be useful to them and feel validated when he's useful and praised or thanked as a result, thriving off of both.

Adaptable - 'If there's a will, there's a way' is a saying Strike truly believes in. He is very resourceful and innovative as well as very clever and can think up solutions to almost any problem or situation given enough time and resources. He is also very flexible-minded in that he can make connections and think of ways to do things that conventional thinkers might not have considered. As long as he has a good enough reason to do it, there is very little he can't do.

Determined - Once Strike sets his mind to something, especially if it's for the sake of someone else, he will do everything in his power to make sure it happens. Obstacles mean little to him except as a challenge for his mind to overcome. His tenacity seems boundless when it comes to getting things done, especially tasks or errands he's been asked by others to do because he is determined not to let people down.

Flaws:
Subservient - In Strike's mind, his usefulness to others correlates directly to how much they like or love him and how worthy he is of being liked or loved. His numerous insecurities lead to his people-pleasing tendencies and his attempts to do whatever he can to be useful to others which makes him quite subservient. This way of thinking is a result of the way his parents raised him because they wanted to teach him to obey their orders, requests, and commands without question, convinced they knew best.

Self-conscious - Despite his generally confident and cheerful demeanor, Strike is very self-conscious. In order to play off his insecurities, he often acts facetious, treating serious matters lightly and acting as if they're less than they actually are or if they mean less to him than they actually do. His flippant behavior and remarks draw attention away from his vulnerabilities and the fact that he tries to act more fun, comical, and humorous to seem more likable and charismatic.

Restless - This young man cannot sit still. He's always moving his body in one way or another, whether it's rocking on his heels or swaying and shifting his weight from foot to foot or bouncing a knee or drumming his fingers on something. He feels anxious when he's not doing anything because he feels he's wasting his time rather than using it efficiently. Similarly, he feels he's not being of use to someone when he's idle, so he's constantly on the move even when it can make people feel uncomfortable or unable to relax around him.

Meddlesome - Strike can tend to be a bit much. He tends to come on very strong and be a bit intense, especially when he's determined to be of use even when no one wants his help. Strike will go out of his way to look for ways he can be useful or helpful to others and to try to anticipate their needs before they themselves know what they want, let alone ask for it. That tends to cause problems since not everyone wants help or assistance, so Strike can end up being quite meddlesome, sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.
