Looking down at the ring that Desiree had given her, Agatha was pleased by the information given relating to the thing. It helped to fuel the decision for this evening, one that she'd been hesitant on for a while, even if she had powered up to assist Liam in defending the manor from those uninvited and monstrous guests.
The snow was mostly melted for the night due to the spurt of warm weather that had swept through the city for the day, after a week of cold that had left her fighting with the fireplace in her room to bring the temperature up.
Once she'd made it far enough that she deemed it safe to power up without compromising the estate, she pulled her henshin pen out and took a breath as that familiar and haunting set of codes moved around her. The clothes that clung to her looked the same, but as she stretched her hands out in front of her, she felt a flood of relief that she was met with the lightly tanned skin that she had while hiding behind that human disguise from Desiree.
Now she could do some work, draining apparently, as she had been informed by all of the inhabitants of the home. It wasn't something that was too difficult, though. Before she took any further steps, she remembered to pull that timepiece out of her subspace and set it to the appointed time that Desiree had told her. It hadn't been spoken outloud much, but there was an understanding between her and the mauvian that her own internal time was far from functioning.
Once set, she focused on a location and felt herself pulled there. Disoriented from it, she noticed a signature nearby and righted herself before looking around, searching for either someone to drain or the source of what she could tell was someone from order.

While Lovas occasionally made work of going out at night (as there was much to discover about Earth, and the more quickly he came to understand its intricacies, the more of it he could use for his own planet's benefit), there were times when he simply... enjoyed the peace of this foreign world. It was chilly and dark. The night was calm. Yet not empty.
Warm, sweet smells wafted from a nearby coffee house that hadn't quite closed for the evening. There were few passersby, some bustling quickly, others chatting in muted tones to themselves. A stray vehicle cruising the road every so often. This locale was near the school; Lovas was given to understand that many of the business in close proximity to campus kept strange hours to accommodate the equally strange hours of its students.
...He liked it here. He appreciated the gentle activity- not bustling as it was at some hours of the day, but still enough to showcase how alive this world was...
The only calm on Lovas was the absence of Chaos, and it was a bleak, solitary calm, devoid of life and noise and metaphorical warmth. If he was given a spare moment from the evil, it was for recuperation, licking his wounds, planning... Which he should be doing here as well, but. Sometimes it was nice to just observe.
It did not come as any surprise to him that the peace was cut short. Some speck of Chaos activity flickered to life at the edge of his senses, and Lovas turned the full of his attention toward that speck. Immediately. He had never been one to let it fester, if he could help it. So he moved from his bench near the street toward the Chaos' call. The aura had an unfamiliar tinge to it, as if something he hadn't come across before. Not Agent, not Youma...
Lovas had, as of yet, only heard that Senshi could be enticed by Chaos and twisted by its poison.
"I had wondered," he started as his eyes first caught on the corrupted one. His tvoice was deep, but light, curious, speculative. "How reliable the sincerity toward their planet a Senshi not born on their own world would be. And it seems I have my answer."
"It must be so enticing to surrender away the responsibility to a world you barely know."

Turning to face the man as they approached, a realization dawned on her before the glance down towards her own hands reminded her that she was not, in fact, one who looked like an alien right now. This was an interesting situation then, one that Desiree hadn't been expecting, but one that Dualite herself had wanted this ring in preparation for.
It washed over her and was easy to ignore until something inside flared up at their last statement.
A world she barely knew?
While it may be true in part, the gaps in her memory provided the warmth of a long-burning ember of hatred. And while she knew it would be best to keep that to herself, she couldn't help the cold little laugh that came out as she looked at him again.
"Oh, do you have an answer? Really?" Stepping closer, she looked them over with a cold and calculating gaze. Desiree and Chalcanthite had mentioned examining things, but that wasn't a reminder she really had needed. It was just how she was, and something about this senshi was... annoying.
"Oh, how intelligent you might be, for knowing the outcome of every iteration of every existence, as if, within a few seconds, you know the answer to whatever question you have in that simple head of yours."
That she could remember, clips of the full branching outcomes of all the lives that were twisted and lost, haunting her behind that code. It still flickered, just on the edge of so many of those floating fragments of time. But something had changed in it, something that made it less vexing. It didn't have its teeth sunk into her now; what was real and what wasn't was clear.

Sailor Scout Attack -- Take care, or you might break something~ For thirty seconds, targets in a ten-foot radius around Lovas will believe that their bones are just a touch more fragile, thinking a stray step may risk a broken ankle, or a misswing could cause a broken wrist. Taking a hit may crack a rib. While the magic doesn’t cause any actual broken bones, the fear of it inspires caution and deliberate care. All sensations end when the magic does, but at player discretion, characters may take more damage than they usually would. Three uses.
"I do!" Lovas chirped- in as much as was possible in his deep, thunderous voice. Even Regal, one of the Knights he currently resided with, had admitted that he felt no particularly strong connection to his namesake- Though his circumstances were different than the norm, Lovas supposed. In that Regal had started out in the Negaverse and left it only to maintain the bonds to people who were opposed to it. Not out of any sense of duty to his Wonder, not to 'protect the universe,' not to uncover the curiosities of his past. Just because the Negaverse wasn't working out for him.
Which wasn't an invalid reason, just one that Lovas found... a little lacking.
The other Knight and Senshi he was most familiar with- Sawtooth and Zero- at least had more dedication than that. A connection and an intrigue- that kept them going back to their worlds. But Earth was still their home more than anywhere else. Lovas understood.
And he also thought it helped him understand why dozens and dozens- or hundreds and hundreds- of Senshi and Knights couldn't purge one stinking planet of its putrid Chaos poison. It must be too enticing.
He laughed a vibrant, rumbling sound. "It is a bit simple," he agreed, tapping an open palm to the top of his curls, tip of his tongue pinched between little fangs. "And somewhat stuck in its ways too." So many of the people here didn't want to do anything that might hurt another human, but Lovas couldn't even remember a time when it had bothered him to dispatch something that was infected with Evil. And he didn't see a reason to start now! Stuck in his ways- and his ways- tended toward violence when faced with something unpleasant.
His magic had effect on so few things, but he'd come to find that humans were susceptible enough, and since he had the ability...
Lovas called his magic, a thing that offered no tell when he inflicted it on someone- no glow, no sparkle, no little fractures. Just a sensation that would settle over his enemies, and offered him an opportunity to strike that would leave a mark.

Dualite looked at him with a disapproving expression as he chirped his response. A look that only deepened as they accepted her comment on being simple.
She caught herself before she let out a sigh of annoyance, at least until something seemed to shift in the air around her. It didn't feel right, not at all, and even with the feeling that her own being was unstable right now, she had enough of a mind to at least shut them up.
Standing her ground, she focused on that code after mumbling something softly to herself. They didn't need to know what it did, honestly, if they were that much of a simpleton, still, she was curious if the shifted encryption might look intimidating. Idly, she reached out and tapped one of the symbols with her nail before it shifted and disappeared, only to reappear behind the man before her.
The smart thing to do would be to run, especially with how unstable everything felt. It had to be magic, that she knew, but if her body's structural integrity had actually been modified? She didn't exactly want to find out, at least not the full extent of it.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Rehpic locav
Calling out the name of her attack, more symbols and numbers start appearing at random around her as they shuffle and morph. Everyone in the area's speech becomes encoded and they are no longer able to understand what anyone is saying. They will understand that the words coming from their mouth came from whatever they were thinking to say but otherwise, it is difficult and near impossible to communicate with anyone in the area of effect. At this stage those who she deems allies are able to understand with some difficulty but they are unable to place or fine-tune what code or cipher has scrambled their words.

Lovas dialogue lol
"A distraction? Are you hoping to flee?" "Ah, perhaps it is fortunate then, that I don't need you to understand me."
Despite mocking her ties to her powered life, Lovas could have, for a moment, completely forgotten that this girl was a Senshi. That putrid aura was the foremost thing in his mind- but beneath that, she was just like him. A Senshi that could use magic. And he had no idea what her source of power might be. The options were practically limitless.
Little symbols appeared in the air- around her, around him. Most he didn't recognize and had no idea what they meant. Sigils to weaken him? To confuse him. Lovas' didn't feel anything? And nothing looked warped?
"A idstrontiac? eAr uyo pihogn ot eefl?"
His eyes narrowed, still smiling as his head canted. He could barely understand the words coming from his own mouth. So it was to be confusing and distracting- and perhaps a bit demoralizing. Lovas' was a bit of a talker, and this girl had taken that from him... But, ultimately, it didn't change what he wanted to accomplish.
"hA, aerspph ti si fuatonreet hent, ahtt I ntd'o ened ouy ot dnuerstdna em."
There was still nothing in between him and her despite their various spells. And it was still his goal to dispatch whatever Chaos had the audacity to stand before him. Lovas lunged. The humans he was with warned him that killing was frowned upon on this planet, but in the face of Such Evil that would kill him if given the chance, that seemed more like a suggestion than a rule. And if he got his hands on this girl, he was going to hurt her- to save her, of course!
Of course.

The fact that he still tried to talk even as it came out garbled wasn't a surprise, but the lunge was. Stepping back, she felt like her ankle might give and looked up just as they were about to touch her. They might be stupid, but that didn't mean they weren't going to do serious harm.
With a decision made and a place in mind, she focused on it and vanished just as she felt her hair move from their motion. It was a close one, even if they seemed to be missing a greater level of intelligence. Shaking her head as she landed back on the couch in the living space of the manor, she looked back to see Desiree there before powering down.
There was a moment she wondered what the mauvian might say or think, but then that moment passed as the half blind mauvian padded back towards the kitchen for something to drink.

She ran.
Well, no, it was more accurate to say she'd just vanished, so that was weird and new and something Lovas had only ever seen a person do once before. But he'd been informed that this particular vein of Chaos granted certain tricks to the recipients of its power, so... Not unexpected, he supposed. They always fled when he threatened them too harshly. Cowards.
On the plus side, he wouldn't have to hide from tell Thaddeus that he'd killed and/or maimed someone! That was always a plus.
Lovas spent a few minutes skulking about the area- investigating! Investigating the area- to see if there was anything worth noticing about the Corrupt girl. Victims or allies or... anything. But, as anticipated, it was depressingly void of extra information. She'd probably simply been passing through when he'd stopped her. But the Chaos' putrid stink permeated so much of the city, maybe he would see her again one day!
