After playing a season ago, I wanted to create a thread of things old players could advise to new competitors who are auditioning.

It could range from serious advice like time management "Don't leave your explanation for the midnight before deadline" or silly stuff like "Don't mix whites."

My advice would be to try and avoid using more than 1 pose from the same series. In fact, avoid using the same item twice. The judges warn us against using "sets", but there are series that can all fall together. Diversity is key to success.

For example:

Last season, I had used an item AND a pose from a series (the arms and the gem), and even though 1 pose was from 1 set, and the gem was from another set, they were both from the same series, and it made my post weaker.



To be safe, try for the same color scheme, but stay away from the same series.

Would any other veterans of Catwalk have any advice?
