Tyndareus disliked walking so openly and brazenly through the night as this version of himself. Really, as any version of himself, because the night was not for folks who were faint-of-heart. Or doing something like he was: trying to find a specific guy to bare his soul to and discover the secret of purification. Or whatever. God, why did the phrasing have to be so sanctimonious? Really? Purification? He wasn't a suspicious source of water or in need of smarmy spiritual healing. ... Just because the technicalities of it were literally "cleansing his soul of corruption" didn't mean he had to ******** like it. The aura of an Eternal White Moon senshi intimidated him a little, and his steps faltered slightly, but he continued to move forward through North End Park until he reached the bench where a very gorgeous man sat, watching his approach carefully. "I take it you are Kerberos?" he asked.

Well. There was something to be said for being findable, Kerberos supposed. He'd yet to run into any serious danger, for all that Faustite had postured at him, so a little recognition was hardly a big deal.
"That I am," he said, easily. This wasn't someone he knew; a Negaverse Senshi, like he'd been, but unfamiliar. Kerberos evaluated him, briefly--serious expression, tense demeanor. Whatever he was here for, it was important, and clearly it was no coincidence if he knew Kerberos's name but Kerberos didn't know his.
"Did something specific bring you to my bench, Sailor...?"

"Tyndareus," he answered, gesturing to the bench in a silent question. At the answering nod, he sat, keeping a fair distance between them to keep both of their nerves settled. "I found your name in our databases. Apparently, it's known that you can be found here sometimes. I'm seeking assistance in leaving the Negaverse," he said shortly, attempting to be brisk. "I've learned things from someone on your side that pulled everything into question, and it all came to a tipping point recently. Your name came up again. I figured a traitor who deliberately makes himself known is probably willing to help others become turncoats." He smiled bitterly at describing himself this way. He'd never truly been one for betrayal, but in this, he felt as though he were betrayed first. Discovering the truth of starseeds and what happened when they were consumed had been the final nail in the coffin.

"Pleasure to meet you, Tyndareus," Kerberos said, nodding and gesturing tot he open space on his bench.
Oh, good, he was in databases. Well, Kerberos knew he'd dealt with two different General-Kings since his defection, so one or the other had probably written him up. And written him up in such a way that ti was apparently actually helping his mission.
"That's why I'm here," Kerberos said. "I don't make myself too predictable, but....I want to help people. I only got out because someone extended me a hand, and if I can do that for even one other person..."
Though he had been lucky enough, already, to do it for several.
"So, yes. I'm willing. What do you know already? Just so I'm not giving you information you already have."

Tyndareus tried not to let any relief show on his face. He made a small noise to indicate he was thinking as he pondered Kerberos's question. How much did he truly know? "I'm aware it requires the presence of a Royal Senshi," he said slowly, "But that's about it."

"Ah," Kerberos said. "The barest basics, then." At least Tyndareus knew something, and wasn't flailing completely in the dark. "Well, I'm no Royal, but I do know a few, so I can help you with that part. But..."
He exhaled. This was the hard part. The thing he knew tripped up more than a few people looking to leave.
"The thing is, when the Royal burns the Chaos out of your starseed, it's going to take things with it. You'll lose memories. A good chunk, in my experience--I don't remember anything from my old civilian life. Which is sort of a blessing, because you'll have to get a new one. The Negaverse knows who you are, so you'll have to be someone else."
It certainly wasn't easy, having to become someone else. But it was the only way out, and Kerberos hoped that Tyndareus was brave enough to do it.
"I don't recommend rushing in. I did, but I was in a really bad position. And it was a mess, after, trying to get myself re-established and figuring out all the nuances of being a brand new person. Better to have a plan in place."

Tyndareus balked a little at that. He didn't very much enjoy the idea of losing his memories—who he had been as a person named Evren meant far more to him than the person he'd been as Tyndareus. Sure, he'd learned many secrets of the universe this way, but... "Christ," he muttered, rubbing the bottom half of his face. "That's a lot of memory to lose. I've only been this way for a year or so, and I'd only remember a handful of hours and days of an entire lifetime?" He could re-learn the secrets of the universe. Reincarnation and all of that. That would be easy. But forgetting everything else about himself? He didn't much care for that idea. But if he wanted to stay alive, then he'd have to do this. "I'd prefer not to have to lose my entire self, but I'd also prefer not to die," he finally decided aloud, rather dramatically. "I'm sure I can liquidate my assets in time and all of that."

"I won't pretend it's not messy," Kerberos said. "I've had ten years to rebuild myself and sometimes I still feel a little empty and fake."
There was no use sugarcoating it, really.
"But that's the choice, isn't it. And even if the Negaverse doesn't kill you outright, it will kill the best parts of you. Chaos strangles those things out. Chaos, and the environment the Negaverse creates."
Maybe it wasn't like it had been. Maybe there were good men like Jet, but even Jet had struck a man down for the crime of leaving the Negaverse.
"Make plans. Be prepared. You can leave notes for yourself, or something like that, to make sure that even if you forget, you have some reminders. And come find me, when you're ready. I'll be glad to call a Princess and help you get out."
