Their last patrol had ended with them finding pretty much nothing. Not a bad thing, right? Not necessarily. Finding nothing was good! It meant the Chaos wasn't... well... causing chaos. But that didn't mean they couldn't just not patrol. Besides, Andromeda had learned that having someone patrolling alongside you was actually nice. And Totoro was a good kid. Part of her also felt a strong desire to make sure he stayed safe, if not for himself then for his mother at home. That, and she'd made snacks tonight. " I felt inspired," Andromeda explained as she handed Totoro a small bag tied off with a ribbon while they walked. It was a soft lavender cloth with painted stars and a bright pink ribbon. Inside were pastel yellow macarons, but instead of being shaped into circles they were shaped into little stars. " I had someone order a Twinkle Little Star-themed cake for their baby shower, and they wanted these cute little cartoony stars on it. And after piping them I was like 'but what if I made them as cookies', and then cookies became macarons. The cookie itself is just vanilla, and the filling is blueberry. Thought a snack might be nice while we're out and about. Also, why not?"

Totoro waved when Andromeda came into his view when he felt her aura and when she said she felt inspired and handed him a bag full of treats he made a noise of awe.
Looking carefully at the crafted macarons, "Ohhh these are awesome!" He said before pulling one carefully out and looking at it curiously. She said the cookie was vanilla and the filling blueberry?? There was a tilt of the chibi's head before he took a small bite of the cookie to see how he liked it.
He'd have to tell his mom he made a friend who baked as well, "Do you own your own bakery or???" He asked curiously, wondering what she'd say.

" Thank you! The flavor's pretty simple because I wasn't even sure how they'd turn out. Usually when I experiment with a new shape or design I don't use complex flavors the first time so I don't have to worry about it. What do you think?" She watched him as he took a bite, looking both curious and proud. At the question of a bakery she shook her head. " I don't, I'm an at-home baker. Best I've got is a tiktok, instagram, and youtube. Started doing it in college when I was in a 'I need a new hobby' phase, and then was like 'oh but I also need a little extra money this month for rent', and it just kind of took off when my subscribers loved watching me learn a new skill." Andromeda took a careful bite of a star macaron from a bag she produced for herself. Yeah, she'd have to get more creative with the flavor next time. It wasn't bad at least. Just not exciting or inventive. " How's your mom?"

Totoro continued to nibble on the cookie after a few more small bites he followed by finishing it off with a larger bite. He seemed to think on how to answer her, "It's really good!" He said with a grin he didn't really want to break out the feedback he'd give his mom.
"Oh that's neat!" He was looking at her when she said she'd been baking at home and doing streams of her baking. "Oh that's neat! My mom actually runs her own bakery." He said with a thought.
There was a pause, "She's good, she's been staying late to make sure everything's prepped for the next day. Since she's started making breads she has to proof them for the night before the bakery opens."

His answer had her grinning widely. Listen, kids weren't usually the kind to lie about if they liked something. She was going to call this a w in itself. " Bread? Ugh, I love a fresh loaf of bread. Hopefully I can visit her bakery sometime, I'd love to see what she's got on offer." Andromeda plucked another cookie from her bag, popping it whole into her mouth right before something had her attention. An energy signature, and it didn't seem friendly. She chewed quietly and stopped walking, looking around in search of the right direction for the source. She didn't see the source yet, but it wasn't far off. " You catch that?" She asked Totoro as she tucked the bag away, stepping closer to Totoro as if subconsciously putting herself between him and whoever was nearby.

Totoro grinned, "Yeah! She has some cakes and stuff too but she likes to let the bread rest over night so it can be baked fresh in the morning."
He nodded, "Well I'll invite you and let you meet my mom." He said with a smile. He was debating on seeing if Andromeda wanted to see if his mom would let her help occasionally when he felt the energy signature and paused.
"Yeah....." He said softly, "I feel it. I don't like it." There had been a lot going on and finally Salome had a chance to just be -out- patrolling. She felt a couple of energy signatures and while she wasn't quite sure she could handle the two order signatures alone she was curious enough to take a peek and see what she could potentially be up against.... and well to her delight she found it was a chibi senshi and what she thought was a basic senshi.
Maybe she was just feeling overly cocky but she decided to roll the dice and take a chance. "Penitentes' Hymn!" She called aiming her attack at the older senshi not interested in really dealing with the racoon clad senshi, unless he proved to be a problem. Quote: tab Penitentes' Hymn Salome summons a pile of snow and a spike of hardened snow starts to form, while the snow looks fairly harmless it isn't. This attack causes the illusion of snow flakes causing the snow pile. At first the spike rises slowly out of the ground but then as it grows the speed in which it grows out of the ground speeds up too, at about a foot high the spike quickly pops up with a force that is hard enough to injure a target at the worse cuts (players perf on how deep). This attack is easy to dodge as the target has a few seconds before the ice spike forces it's way out of the ground. This attack can also be attacked to stop the spike from fully forming. This attack lasts a mere ten seconds because of the sheer speed and force, Salome can only use it three times a battle, the ice disappears after five seconds.

It was coming closer. Andromeda's eyes narrowed as she looked around for where they were coming from, until the heard the call and saw the other figure. Something was coming their way! With a quick gasp, Andromeda turned and tried to push Totoro out of the path, and then jumped up to try and avoid it. And she did at first, only to come down back onto the spike and crush the growing spike under her shoe. It may not have been fully formed yet, but the pressure of the growing spike on the underside of her foot still had her stumbling and yelping. The hell? Quickly looking the other woman up and down, Andromeda shot a whisper to Totoro. " She's got a lot of exposed skin, wanna help me out?" She already had an idea of what she was going to try. She rolled her shoulders and tilted her head to one side and then the other to stretch her neck while removing her gloves and tucking them away. " Hey!" Andromeda shouted out at her, before she darted forward. She lowered herself somewhat as she ran, as if she was going to tackle the other woman. Instead-- " Andromeda's Sting!" She called out as she attempted to shove her shoulder into that space where the front of her fuku was cut open, throwing her whole body weight into indeed attempting to tackle her while making a grab for the other senshi's bare arms with her now bare hands. LP Andromeda's Sting! When using her magic, Sailor Andromeda's body becomes as dangerous as a jellyfish's tendrils. Touching exposed skin will feel like a nasty sting for as long as contact is made. The longer a target is held, the more uncomfortable, and painful, the sensation will grow until subsiding on its own. This can be done to as many enemies as she is able to make physical contact with until the magic ends. While not much of an actual fighter; Andromeda's Sting is best used to incapacitate, she holds and someone else punches so to speak. This magic lasts for 30 seconds and can be used 3 times per battle. Players can choose to take lasting damage in the form of residual stings or rashes if they choose.

Totoro hadn't expected the crazy lady to show up and just attack out of the blue, it seemed like the woman could care less about him as she attacked and seemingly aimed it towards Andromeda but that didn't stop the senshi he was patrolling with from shielding him and he nodded when she asked if he wanted to help her out.
"I got your back!" He said with a grin and stood like he was ready to swing a fist if he needed to. He called his attack hoping it would land a strike on the senshi attacking them and not backfire and hit Andromeda. "Dousing Touch!!!" He decided also to use his super attack as it would probably make things more interesting as well as he watched Andromeda rush the corrupted senshi.Salome's face contorted into annoyance as the two senshi threw attacks at her and the lady decided to fling herself in a full body check it seemed, and honestly it's caught Salome off guard so she didn't quite dodge like she should have. When she felt the contact there was the feeling she was being stung and hissed; trying to push the senshi off away from her and backing up - glad she had gloves on because she wasn't sure what was going on. It really hurt like a b***h and she wasn't sure what the chibi senshi's attack did either but she felt like she could feel more things and irritated her. Salome then gave a snarl as she worked to get her footing again she aimed a punch towards the senshi that had decided to body check her.
"So protecting your precious chibi senshi there?" She asked, seeing if the taunt would elicit a response.Quote: tab Dousing Touch When Sailor Totoro calls this attack he can choose two targets. This target becomes sensitive to being touched. This attack causes them to be 50% as sensitive. So if they're given a normal punch, that might would cause them to say 'ow' this would hurt 50% as much than it normally would. This attack increases the sensitivity to magic that touches the target's skin - however, it doesn't increase the damage. There's also a small chance this attack could backfire on Tortoro and not work, or hit someone other than his intended target (including teammates). Totoro can use this attack 2 times and the effect lasts for 25 seconds.

She only had so long to do this. It was time to make it count when it felt like she was doing the best she'd done up until now with her magic's strength. She grunted and turned her head away as she nailed a punch just under her eye, earning herself a hiss of pain and a clenching of her hands that even seemed to be trying to sharply press manicured nails into her skin. Yeah, that had hurt. Her eyes only narrowed slightly as the fishy woman tried to taunt her. Really? Something so cliche? " You know, I might've left you alone," Andromeda started as she made a grab for Salome's bare arms once again, trying to grab on tightly to her while her magic was still coursing over her skin. " But you shot first." They could've had a nice time with their cookies, and this chick tried to attack them. Maus' lessons had really mostly been about hitting and running, but Andromeda was really starting to think grappling lessons might be more important.
