My new health insurance covers breast reduction surgery if medically authorized as necessary by a physician.
Those of you who have met me in person probably know that my bazooms are HUGE. They never really caused me any trouble, aside from just getting in the way, until recently.
My back has started to bother me a lot in the last few months, and I think that's a sign it might be time to start the process of getting this authorized.
Know anyone who has done this? What was their experience?

My mother-in-law had the surgery about 5 years ago. She said it was the best thing she has ever done.

My ex's sister had it done and she was left with horrible scars. They did a T cut on her breasts to decrease them. Im not sure if that is still the way, I think I read about cutting off the n****e, taking away what you want then reattaching the n****e. I urge you to go online and do some research of your own. Find the exact procedure you want and then find a doc who takes your insurance and does that procedure. Long ago I got a boob job to correct off sized breasts, 1A 1B, and this was when docs still cut under the breast leaving bad scars. I researched and found an under the arm cut that was so much nicer. I now have no visible scars. The implants could have gone in the n****e as well, like the reduction cut technique, but you can no longer breast feed if that type is chosen. I do not know your age, but if you plan on having children and breast feeding, you might not be able to. Do some research for sure if this is the case.

HM Thanks, and welcome to the Guild. smile I am done having children and breastfeeding. I'm 36, and I have two teenagers (the eldest will be 20 in February - oy) and a 5 year-old, so I have no designs on ever getting pregnant again. I would like minimal scarring, that's for sure.
