Alright so any american loki fan will know ADV's Malora manga has basicly dropped off the face of the earth. (Fortantly the anime is still being dubbed, wait is that good?o_O) And while I was digging around the Loki LJ communtiy, (I stalk them.. ninja ) I found this scan from an old Newtype magazine. http://i2.tinypic.com/sy1o9z.pngNow take a good look at Loki's interest section wait for it... WTF is up with "My dearest Freya," can someone explain this to me!>_< So form an angry mob discuss my fellow fans.

Okay, I've calmed down.
Honestly, I cannot imagine Loki with Freya. Even viewing it as objectively as I can; Freya is just as bad as Mayura (in terms of bubble-headedness, most of the time), only infinitely more clingy and possessive and bossy. sweatdrop

Newtype is expeeeeeensive in my country. $30++ for 1 mag is NOT my idea of affordable. crying

I love Newtype but soo expensive, then again they do give a teaser/demo DVD with every issue so why complain about the price.
Perhaps Newtype/ADV thought Loki Ragnarok would follow Norse mythology a little closer than it does....although it is possible that it follows it more closely than many people think, I am refering to Loki/Mayura right now. I mean although Mayura has absolutly no spiritual power she is the perfect medium....which lead a few of my friends and myself to believe that Mayura is in fact Loki's first wife, Sigyn , whom some people that talk about Norse Mythology seem to omit since it is in Loki's days before becoming a God.

Glut appears to be his /mistress/. His first official wife, from what I heard, was Sigyn. 3nodding
surprised Raine, I was thinking along those exact same lines. That she's a medium, a channel for other powers to express themselves in the physical world. In fact, I intend to work that into a fic I've been planning forever. sweatdrop
Omit? Hardly! If you look in the MaLoki section of fanfiction.net, you'll see TONNES of Mayura = Sigyn fics. I have to admit, I intend to contribute to them. xd
Like I argued with someone else, if you liken Loki's stint in Midgard to his rock-chained punishment (note that in both cases his actions and his powers are severely restricted, PLUS *SPOILER*both punishments eventually culminate in Ragnarok, only the manga Ragnarok is significantly different from the mythological Ragnarok), you can also make the connection between Mayura and Sigyn. She does, afterall, keep him company. To be even more melodramatic, I'd like to think of the dripping serpent's "poison" as loneliness? and Mayura as warding off that loneliness. xd lol
