As you may know, Full Metal Alchemist has many many many ... okay not THAT much but there are several nice and catchy songs that reflect the past of the Elric brothers and other events that do happen in the anime.
Which is YOUR favourite? :0
Me myself, for openings it has to be REWRITE. The opening captures all the deals of what happens and the lyrics reflect tremendously on some of the characters. Roy's part in which he's screencapped espicially.
Endings is a simple one. Kesanai Tsumi. The lyrics that really made me tweak were;
The two keep walking, because they cannot look back.
Their hearts hidden deep inside, still hurt from the inerasable sin
I know there are many different translations to what it actually means, but when I was watching the sub, I got that one and I love it. <3
Any other opinions? <3

Chibi I would definatly have to agree with you on the opening Rewrite by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. I couldn't have put it better. (Gotta lve that Roy scene). Also my favorite ending is Nana Kitade's Kesanai Tsumi too. (what do we have the same taste in music or something). For me on the ending I mostly like the beat and Nana Kitade's emotion that is portrayed through her voice. That emotion makes the lyrics more dynamic and more attached to the series.

I love...like...all of the openings and endings xD Though Undo wasn't as great as I thought it would be.
If I had to be more specific....I like Rewrite and To the other side of the Door.

I like the song UNDO, espicially when COOL JOKE did the performance. That was just funny how he was making the crowd rowly.
Tobira no Mukou e is another one of my favourites. It features Winry a lot <3. I love Crystal Kay's Motherland aswell. I like that song because being the Winry lover I am, it really and truely reflects her feelings of what she does when we're just basically focusing on the Elric brothers. She is a downed character and I really wish some people would give her some credit besides 'She's an annoying prep' neutral
I like Tobira no Mukou e and the lyrics to the song, although I prefer the FullMetal Mix better. The lyrics really catch my eye. It says never to give up and pass that obstacle. Love it to bits. <333

I like the song called I Will, and its particularly sad at the end when they show Scar, Maes and Nina. It sounds like the lady is saying Stay when they show all three. I can't understand for the likes of me, why they didn't show Greed too! Then I like Unerasable Sin and Yellow Generation.

Favourite OP used to be Rewrite, but I still love it... my favorite, now that I've heard them all, has to be Undo by Cool Joke. Last one I had heard, actually. XD I also really like Melissa... I can sing along fairly well to it, but to be really good I need the lyrics. XD (The other songs go to fast, even with lyrics...)
Favorite ED is "Tobira no Mukou e" or "Beyond the Door" by YeLLOW Generation. sadl, the only version I can ever download skips really badly in two cool spots... but I still luff it. XD

heart All songs are great to me! Argh!You guys made me wanna watch Hagaren for the sixth time!!.......Shut up,I need a break from work..I'm exhausted... gonk I don't want a life! I wanna have no life.. gonk ...I think every song features the season or episode really well! I mean it FITS to the sub-story of the series!

My fav. opening...would be between READY STEADY GO and Rewrite.
My fav. ending is Kensai Tsumi though.
