ACK!!!! A whole herd of cows just ran through my back yard!!!!! LOL I just called the sheriff, since they stopped in an unfenced area. It was something to see them tearing across the yard, just beyond the fence around the play area!
I can't stop laughing.
I can't keep the kids in, either. They want to look at the cows!

They were, but the play area is enclosed in chain link. THe cows went through the outer part of the yard. We almost never close the gate back there, because a local farmer has right-of-way to his hay field above us. Some of the cows almost grazed the chain link on their way by, and the kids were out there watching and shouting to the cows.

ok..
I went camping once in Silver City, Idaho. Silver City is a ghost town in the mountains. Kymber, my youngest daughter was about 6 years old at the time. Up in the hills were a bunch of free range cattle roaming around and the next day she was very exccited that there were "wild cows" in our campsite.
