There are many worlds and every world has a different set of elves. Some people might be able to tell you about their race but I will tell you about mine. We have six sect. Wood, Venom, Mountain, Hi, Water, Dark. Each race has one god that controls the element that they use everyday. If you would like I can post the creation story as well.

I don't know about Josh, but I'd like to hear the creation story. Also, could you possibly post the differences between the elven sects? Like, say Venom and Dark? Or Hi and Wood? and so on and so forth? sweatdrop

The six sects of elves each have a different element, weapon and a different culture. The element they use has to do with the creation story.
Wood elves use the element of earth. The prefer to use bow and arrow and snipe their enemies from the trees. They worship the trees and see them as a gift from their god the earth god.
Hi elves are elves of the plains. They use star magic which is an element to control space and the weather. They prefer broad swords over any other weapon. They beleive that star power is the most powerful of all.
Dark elves are the most confused race alive. Contrary to popular belief they are not evil. Dark elves use the three unseen elements Light, Dark, and Psycic. They are blind because they use their magic to see. They commonly use staffs.
Water elves really do live in water. They use daggers that when touched to any object it becomes water. Little is known about water elves other than that they are the oldest sect of elves.
Mountain elves use air to fly and maneuver around the mountains. They prefer to use axes that are very large. It is believed that dwarves are moutain elves that have abandoned their race.
The last kind of elf are Venom elves. They are also called Fire elves because of the element they use. They are proficient swords smiths. They use long swords.

This legend is written down and kept in the great temple at the center of the elven world.
Years ago the elven race ruled over everything. Dwarves were slaves making weapons for the elven army. Humans were used for many training exercises and also for experiments. They were modified into orks and trolls and giants. Goblins were merely elves that had used too much dark magic. It was a great age for the elven race but it was a dark age for other races. One day these races decided to rise up against their opressers. They defeated the elven race because it had not expected an attack. The race was scattered into six different groups. Each group had a different environment. They addapted their magic to fit their habitat. An elder was chosen and was allowed to enter godhood. This created six gods. The dark elves though use three different magic types psi, dark and light. They chose to have three gods. Later a single elf worked to reunite these races. When they came back their gods sat in a city called Hauroti City of the Gods. Each sect of elves still practice their own branch of magic. I learned them all.

I think I may be a combonation of diffent types of elves. I'm good at controling all the elements, and I have a strong ability for archery as well as swordsmanship. is this normal?

I'm good at controling all the elements, and I have a strong ability for archery as well as swordsmanship. is this normal? as far as i understand elves, what your saying isnt common, but it is not unheard of either. i am an elffriend. i have a very dear friend who is elfkin. i think she would love to be on here i may have to suggest this to her
