Well, I thought about putting this in the main forum, but it would probably annoy people.
I haven't seen any Angel, and I'm not allowed to watch the DVDs because they're rated 18 (and I'm fifteen). Does anyone know why this is? Is it just in general or is it for a few episodes? After all, most of Buffy doesn't deserve the 15 rating. This isn't just for me, though - my little sister also wants to watch it.She's twelve.

I'm really not sure. I mean, they put Angel episodes on TV. True they now show them at 7am EST on TNT and when they originally aired it was at 9pm EST (I think) on the WB. but anyone up at those times, or anyone with a VCR or DVD burner or just Tivo can record episodes and watch them. So I'm not really sure. I do think that Angel is darker than Buffy, but that's kind of odd that it would be an 18 rating.

I checked. Season 1 of Angel is an 18. The other's are 15s. My sister was wondering if it might be something in the season finale that gets it the rating?

Well, I don't understand why it gets the rating 18. I've seen the first season, I'm 15. I say: Watch it. The serie is really good, the first season is not the best, but I like it. 3nodding

I'm not worried. My mum won't let me watch it because she doesn't know why it's an 18.

I'm Anna Mnemi's sister and I read somewhere that only one angel episode has an 18 certificate rating. Does anyone know which?

I asked some of my friends. And together we worked it out. It's, I'm like 98% sure it's the episode "Five by Five".
I think it's on the fifth DVD in the first season.
Good episode. 3nodding

I agree it would have to be five by five, but my fav is Rm W/ A Vu, Where cordilia falls in love with a new apartment ,but she finds out something is wrong with it........that's just rated pg though so you can watch that. I think it's mostly because of violence from the fight scenes and maybe some of the love scenes that makes it bad. If you can have your mom watch it first and then you can watch it, have her ask an employee what they think or look it up even online. just a thought.
