Lord Havelock Vetinari Captain

On Treacle Mine Road, as near to the Shades as it gets, a small hut stood cramped between two sprawling buildings... No sign to be seen, but scrawled into the door is a number...
'14'
No doorstep, no welcome mat. And yet, despite this obvious invitation to solicitors, this place was unmolested by Omnians or suspicious sausage sellers...
Barely ten paces wide, this hut's door appears to be hanging slighty off it's hinges. But, if you were to try it, it is quite solidly closed.
If you were to ask the neighboring businesses, they would attribute ownership of this place to either of it's neighbors, though even they aren't sure who owns it. So, it sits unused and mysterious... Or does it?

In the Patrician's Palace...
Lord Havelock Vetinari sits in his study, finishing up a few bits of paperwork. After stacking the last bit away, he leaves his study and dismisses Drumknott for the night.
"Ah, it seems thses meetings just get closer and closer together..."
With a quick shake of his head, Vetinari heads down to the basement. Upon reaching a nondescript hallway and a completely unassuming bit of wall, he opens a secret passageway and heads down a long twisting passage that seemed to run for miles.
Through repeated practice, he slips easily past every little surprise he has set for the unwary skulker. No one could skulk quite like Vetinari...
Reaching the end of the tunnel he comes to a ladder. Upon climbing to the top he unbolts the trap door and pushes it slowly upwards and open. The room he enters into is rather small, quite cramped, really... The door is bolted and nailed shut from the inside. Carefully, he closes the hatch and takes a seat at the table that is the room's sole decoration, and waits...
