Most people throw pennies into random bodies of water to make a wish. My mom taught me to throw a penny into a random body of water so you can return to the same place sometime.
But I realised that sometimes you can't return. Sometimes you don't want to.
So now I throw pennies into random bodies of water, just because. Because I like to think it makes a link between me and the place where I left the coin. So I suppose I weave some sort of web, between me and all these places all over the world. Huge lakes and tiny fountains. And one day when I can't travel anymore, I can still hold onto that net. 'ww'
Penny link. Unfortunatly my camera is nowhere near uber enough to capture rippling water. xD So I focused on the rim of the fountain instead. I like the metal feel to it.

Detail. o:

Second is more focused as well as more detailed. The larger one doesn't seem to have a real focal point. Good job. smile

o: Thankyou. <3
Gangwish - You're right. Maybe I could have gotten a better shot if I worked at it longer - but there were tons of people wanting to be photgraphed with this fountain for some reason, and I didn't think they wanted pictures with my a** in them. xo!
Clyde - Full of pennies, yes. o: And a few dimes. xD

Yerh, the dtail is better I suppose - but I'm sure if I had a better camera the first would have been far more interesting. At least, the coins in thw water would have been more clear. xD

Personal I really like the first one. The way the water looks and I like that the penny is not in the center. They are both great and your thoughts on throwing pennies are so neat. It's one of those ideas that puts magic into everyday life, atleast I think so.

Nice job. I love hearing stories behind pieces too. Where was this that you took the photos?

Very nice placement.
I'm not quite sure, but the two photos are either slightly out of focus or the compression of the photos isn't very good. xp
But the contrast of the penny with the black/white fountain is stunning, well done.

I like the detailed shot better than the larger one as there is more clear focus of the subject. The larger shot makes me slightly confused redface
But good job anyway ! Keep it up!
