Eh hem...Guess what? Uchiha Itachi, one of my favorite characters, Uchiha Sasuke's (THE RETARTED BACKSTABBING, BETRAYING, TRAITOR.) older brother, HAS THE SAME VOICE AS GAI IN THE DUB.
Yes, it's true. It's not that I don't like Gai, because I do, but that means, Itachi sounds like a guy in his middle ages. And he does, at fact.
Also, Kurenai and Orochimaru's Grass Ninja voice are the same. Shino and Zaku's voice are the same people too. And here's something even funnier, Ino's voice sounds like a seven or eight year old's right? Well, guess what? Ino and Konohamaru's voices are the same.

Toonami brought naruto to the us tv's fast so they did the best they could.

Meh, I actually thought it actually fit him. He might not be a serial rapist, but he did kinda kill his family and his clan. So he is kinda supposed to sound creepy. Also, that might not be his finnaly voice. We actually don't see him again till like, 80 more episodes or something of the sort. So they might change it.

I hope so. I prefer the Japanese voice, it seems to fit more. His voice is too deep to be that of a teenager.

I agree with chuurlo.
How old is Gai? I mean like...isn't he like 30 something? Or maybe almost? (Is too lazy to research at the time.) Dude...Itachi's not even 20 yet. stare Yeah, he's supposed to sound creepy, NOT OLD. Like...
Itachi: *Running on water with Kisame*
Itachi: AH!
Kisame: Itachi-san! *Hurries over to Itachi*
Kismae: What is it?
Itachi: *Looks up with an old, weak, whining voice with waterfall tears*
Itachi: Kisame...
Kisame: What?
Itachi: I broke my back!
Kisame: *Falls on the floor anime-style*
Kisame: sweatdrop
*Nods* Indeed. And no, I don't think Gai would do that. He has too many 'Flames of Youth' In him.

I guess we'll just have to wait until...Itachi and Kisame comes to town. XD I wonder what Kisame's voice sounds like? Or...are they even going that far? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
