Ok everyone, here's the story:
You may or may not have noticed that I seem to be the only active moderator in this guild. A few users have expressed interest in adding subforums, which I don't have the power to do, not being the owner. I also sometimes get behind on the assignments because of real life stuff that comes up from time to time. I have pm'd the owner on two different occasions to address these issues and have received no reply. Upon checking her profile, I saw that she has not even logged into Gaia since January. I feel like to expand and move into the future, we need an active owner and moderating staff.
I thought about maybe starting a new Guild. Not completely new, we could migrate the assignment stuff over to it and keep the same basic format, just that I would be the owner and add new moderators and subforums and everything like that. I have enough gold to do everything myself, I just wanted to know what all of our guild members thought about this idea. I love this guild and would hate to see it just fall off.
So please post and let me know your ideas or concerns. I won't do anything until I've gotten some feedback. Thanks cool

I think a new guild would be good. This one seems a bit slow. Also having only one moderator isn't very beneficial. And if the creator of this guild hasn't logged on since January, a new guild would be much better. Also, if you do plan on making a new guild, I think that for the biweekly assignment, it might be cool to feature the photo that wins on the guild front page for awhile.

I agree. With more moderators, things could run much more smoothly. We need a guild owner that will actually be involved; you seem to fit the bill. :]

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback and ideas. I think featuring the winner on the front page is a great idea. Keep them coming. I'm going to go ahead and start getting the new guild ready. The first thing on the agenda will be adding mods. I'll create a thread and have anyone interested post in it. Maybe we can do a small application or something. We can delegate the tasks and whatnot. But keep giving me ideas and suggestions. It really helps.
I'll post the new link here in an announcement so everyone will be able to go to the new one once I get it up.

I think this is a good idea. Especially since the forum seems so slow, new mods and ownership would help bring more people in, plus maybe get people more active so it doesn't take two days to get a response to a single post.
(heh, if you need new mods, I'm willing to take up being one XD or at least a more active member XP)

I'm not a member of this guild, but I would like to be. But because it's no longer active, I think that won't happen. I like the idea of making a new guild. I think you should keep it public, so people who aren't members, but want to be can see how it works a little bit. And if they are new to the whole "Guild" thing, they can see how and what you do in a guild.
